We've been advised that the correct price for the camper van in the USA is $119.99 and not $99.99 as previously posted.

That makes the European prices even better comparatively...

Yeah, I thought $99.99 was a bit too good a peice(sic) for this.
Oh well, it's still a fantastic set.

This is probably what the Americans thought: "Oh look, the price is corrected! Oh it's $20 more...

Posted by yys4u in United States, 15 Aug 2011 15:55

^yup Lol... Oh well I wasn't planning on getting it anyway. Looks really nice, but it has no place in my collection

Posted by mikeyob in United States, 15 Aug 2011 17:25

$99 is usually out of my price range...jumped it way out of it now

Posted by wunztwice in United States, 15 Aug 2011 17:28

Blast! Well, it figures, $100 was a pretty decent price...

Posted by commodorelegolas in United States, 15 Aug 2011 17:37

$100 bucks: Yes! $120: Darn it!

Posted by Thomson & Thompson in Canada, 15 Aug 2011 17:50

So that makes it CAD $154.99, then?

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 15 Aug 2011 17:55

^No, only the US price was wrong, so CA $129.99, DE €99.99 , UK £79.99 , DK 799 DKK

That's interesting. I wonder if it was originally supposed to be $99.99 when it was first planned but the continually weaker US$ has forced it up. If it's $150 Australian, I still think it will be a reasonable buy, but I might be being optimistic with that price.

Its great to see that the Canadian price is just a $10 difference.

Posted by QuagsireQing in Canada, 16 Aug 2011 00:58

Wow, only $10 more in Canada? It's funny how pricing something at 11% higher than the US, rather than 28% higher (lookin' at you, Unimog) instantly adds a perceived value to the product. Even though the Canadian price hasn't changed, I'm suddenly more willing to purchase this set.

Posted by aresze in Australia, 16 Aug 2011 05:44

.......so it will be au$239 or $259..................

Posted by Markey in Belgium, 16 Aug 2011 06:24

Still good, UK price is around $131.

Had me worried when I saw that headline, thought £80 was cheap and it still is.

Posted by charfdorn in United States, 16 Aug 2011 10:25

This price change has just changed my mind about buying it.

Posted by LegoEggo in United States, 16 Aug 2011 12:45

Hum, I thought that 99.99 would be a nice price, but, oh well, at least it isn't as expensive as the 2010 Hogwarts Castle, which I have.......... What? too off topic? Anyways, an awesome set still, and who knows? Maybe they'll change it back like how movie guys change release dates of movies.

Posted by madforLEGO in United States, 16 Aug 2011 13:25

Meh.. at $120 USD Lego will probably be be sitting on these for a while and then eventually setting a clearance price at $75 USD

Maybe if TRU gets these and allows a BOGO on them then maybe Ill pick up a few...

Posted by Thomson & Thompson in Canada, 16 Aug 2011 17:37

Ha Ha Ha! The Canadian price stays the same but the American price gets upped! This is great!!! (I do feel sorry for people in the U.S.A., though.)

At the today exchange 119,99 bucks are about 83,28 €, while European price is 99,99 €. Crisis did hit hard here in 'Yurop' too, so I don't understand why you're complaining about the price.

Posted by Nightshroud99 in Canada, 17 Aug 2011 16:48
