EEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIII!!!! :D That's "Hurray" in Italian (roughly)! :) Sorry for over-reacting... :P Right, where's the article announcing the Amazon.it Bargain Watch page?... :P

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 04 Nov 2011 14:42

Huw, how can you view the Amazon.it Bargain Watch banner without actually being in Italy? :P I want to check the spelling... :P

EDIT: BTW, when will the Bargain Watch pages be translated?

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 04 Nov 2011 14:50

Yep, we got the data for .it added yesterday. I thought you'd be pleased :-)

Actually I haven't added the banner yet -- thanks for the reminder. If you can post the correct text here I'll add it later.

Not sure about timescales for translation yet, might be early next year now.

@Huw: EARLY NEXT YEAR?! :P Isn't it a copy-paste job?! :P Oh well. :P Here's the translation:

I already posted it here: http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=1564 All the translation are there.

^ Thanks.

No, unfortunately it isn't a cut-and-paste job because the code is shared on all the pages and I'm not using any of the recommended means of serving multilingual content.

If I can be persuaded by Italians that having it in Italian rather than English is going to increase visitor numbers and thus click-throughs then it may be sooner. But, there are higher priority things to attend to first.

@Huw: Alright, alright... :P There aren't many Italians here, anyway. :P There's only modena and me... :P

Sorry if I seem to be pushy, but can I get a link to the image of the Amazon.it banner, please?

EDIT: Last comment: 5 minutes ago. :P BUT I SENT IT JUST NOW! :P

then return to home page.

You can reset it at http://www.brickset.com/profile/setCountry/?GB although it only lasts for the session anyway.

The two servers' system time were out slightly, I've now hopefully synched them.

@Huw: Thanks for that, it's perfect! :) I never knew you could change countries... :P

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 05 Nov 2011 08:54

^ It's not widely known, don't tell anyone else :-)

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 05 Nov 2011 08:59

@Huw: Ok. ;) XD
