I didn't realize that the 10% off would STACK on top of the 25% off, which it does. Really good deals here. The Emerald Night is out, Imperial Flagship and Republic Dropship are available, but backordered. My gut is that these are the sets we will see on sale for 50% off after Christmas. But for the sets I just mentioned, i don't think any of them will make it that long.

I just ordered the Dropship, and considering adding another Imperial Flagship to my fleet.

Also - Public Transport is a really neat set, I was surprised to see it included in the sale.

Got my Republic Gunship the second the deal went live last night. I could tell the system was getting slammed pretty hard because things were slow and the deals setup was glitchy because none of the bonuses were being calculated correctly (no free shipping, my extra 10% discount was being added to the total for some reason, and no sign of bonus Christmas set).

I went online again this morning though and looked at my Order History and everything is shown correctly there. Still haven't got my confirmation email yet, but I figure with other orders possibly having gone screwy like mine their having to do some manual adjusting in the system.

UPDATE: Just got my email confirmation and everything looks hunky-dory! Online Black Friday shopping rocks!

Here is my math: If you want 2 of the Public Transports, you pay $149.98 - 10%=$134.99 - 32.5% off!

Black Friday being the biggest shopping day of the year in the US is sort of a myth - it's usually the last saturday before Christmas, actually.

I wish these sets that are now 25% off were discounted for VIPs last Saturday when I made a big order, although I made another order today to get an Imperial Flagship and some other nicely discounted stuff. Alien Conquest Battle Pack - 5 minifigures for $7.48! And then another 10% off if you spend $149 (which is too easy).

i was on at midnight, with the Emerald Night in my bag, i ordered it & then got a later email that it was backordered. it's very dissapointing, but i'm thinking LEGO will make enough of them to make good on those of us who contracted with them. i was very shocked when the cost of the EN went 25% off, i didn't have previous knowledge of that, just dumb luck that was the set i was in love with at the time. that said, the battery box, etc that i ordered to motorize the kit will remain in the original packaging, to be returned if i don't get the EN

The ad said, offer starts Friday 12:00 EST.
I was on shop.lego.com around 9 am Europen Time (4:00 EST I guess), but at that time the offer was already running, and Emerald Night was sold out, so I could not buy one.
Shame on TLC! Why they stat the offer start time, if they start earlier? I will make a complaint on lego.com.

@Yellow, I don't know about the European sale, but the US sale did indeed start precisely at 12:00 AM EST Friday (Thursday at midnight). The Emerald Night was in stock in the US, but sold out within the hour.

@gruetzmacherd, In this case I was wrong. I thought 12:00 means noon, not midnight. I was looking things on Shop@Home USA, because I had my stuff shipped to Minnesota.
Here in Europe there is no Black Friday, and we have hardly ANY promotions (no ARF trooper, no christmas set givaways, nothing) even our prices are significantly higher than yours.
So I built up a US contact and have my things bought and shipped from SAH USA to Minnesota.

I assume, now that Emerald Night, Dropship With AT-OT and Imperial Flagship are sold out, to keep the sales alive, LEGO has put some other fine sets on the list, like:
