FRee shipping!

Posted by snoboarder31 in United States, 27 Nov 2008 19:40

we have to spend $100 to get $10 savings? what kind of savings is that?

Posted by xboard08 in United States, 27 Nov 2008 19:59

10% :) It's nothing special

Posted by Trandoshan in Canada, 27 Nov 2008 20:21

Is this offer with the canada site?

Posted by The_Best_Fighter, 27 Nov 2008 21:11

Better than nothing, more so if you were going to use the free shipping before it ends.

Posted by legomarine in United States, 27 Nov 2008 22:30

actually you do save quite a bit of money you get that 10% back and you also save the money you would usaully pay for shipping so id be like getting the lets say MTT for only $90 instead of 100 for the set and about 10 bucks for shipping

Posted by Perigrin in United States, 28 Nov 2008 07:31

Say, at least we're saving somthing! $10 saved is awhole lot better then none!

Is this offer with the canadian site?

Posted by apustow in United Kingdom, 28 Nov 2008 09:30

you guys have it so cheap in the USA, huge offers on huge sets, in the uk its savings on tiny sets and things like t- shirts!

Posted by BionicleBOOM in United States, 28 Nov 2008 09:45

Well, I guess it IS better than nothing, but who's gonna buy $300 worth of Legos? Even then, $30 doesn't do much for saving. I mean, sure you could buy one or two other Legos, but I'm not gonna buy $100 worth of Legos this year. :)

Posted by chrisdog121411 in United States, 28 Nov 2008 09:53

i check the Canada web site of shop at home and it is at Canada it said USA and Canada only

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 28 Nov 2008 10:19

The $300 would help if u were buying death star cause shipping would cost a lot on that plus $30 off.

Posted by The_Best_Fighter, 28 Nov 2008 11:25

It's free shipping and free $10. Maybe LEGO next year should not offer anything free. Then your $100 order would be $115 instead of $90.

I can't believe people complain about a sale, that's on top of free shipping.

Posted by tye in United States, 28 Nov 2008 13:01

Legomarine you can buy the Mtt at Toysrus for $60

Posted by The_Best_Fighter, 28 Nov 2008 13:25

Yes go to TRU, see if they have any left, and wait in line for 2 hours. lol

Posted by commander_cody in Finland, 28 Nov 2008 16:12

you're lucky in both USA and the UK ,, in Finland all the legos are really expensive ! all the time ! and just guess how much that annoys me ! :P

HA that's funny The_Best_Fighter cause I waited in line at TRU for over an hour for the pirate sets earlier. Also on Lego.com BTW is the Power Miners site. It has 2 polls, a quiz to see which monster you would be and a game. No sets yet though it did have the name of one of them.

Posted by commander_cody in Finland, 28 Nov 2008 16:15

ps. tye said ,, the MTT is 60 $ at toysrus ,, in Finland the lowest price would be like 100 € . minimum . and there are a lot of sets that isn't even released in Finland ... don't get me wrong ,, Finland ' s a great country ,, but the legos are too expensive ! :P

Lol, im lucky! When I was in line at TRU for brickbeard bounty, it was only for 3
minutes! :P And it was at 1 PM! And I got $20 off!

Posted by snoboarder31 in United States, 28 Nov 2008 16:43

*sigh* I guess I should be more grateful... after all it is thanksgiving

Posted by Retsnom Kcor in United States, 28 Nov 2008 16:49

Ok so according to powerminers.lego.com, one of the sets is called Thunder Miner or something like that...

Posted by The_Best_Fighter, 28 Nov 2008 17:25

I was at TRU at 12:30, the line had to be 45-60 minutes long at least. Needless to say I didn't buy anything, but they had all the Pirate sets.

Posted by jonbuddy in United States, 29 Nov 2008 12:24

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 29 Nov 2008 14:41

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THE SANDCRAWLER IS SOLD OUT!!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!! AND IT WAS ON SALE!!!!!!!!!!! :( :0 :0 :0 :O :'(

Posted by Trandoshan in Canada, 29 Nov 2008 17:38

I know this isn't really on topic but space skulls and star justice are both 100 CAD cheaper on the canadian site!

Posted by The_Best_Fighter, 01 Dec 2008 20:58

I bought Star Justice and the Car Garage thing along with some round 9V track, the little $3 doctor set, two $5 green building plates and some PaB. I don't really have the money, but I figured with the 2009 prices I'm not buying that many sets.

Posted by Brickmeister1138 in United States, 07 Dec 2008 22:54

I saved Like 50 or more bucks on the death star if you count S&H.

Posted by commander_cody in Finland, 08 Dec 2008 11:00

just read on wikipedia about Black Friday ,, probably REALLY good sales ,, but pretty scary that a salesman got trampeled to DEAD because of all the people breaking the glassdoors to the shop :S but boy I would want to live in the US or at least be there at black friday ...
