    Day 13The number 13 may be unlucky for some, but not for us because today we have minifigs in both calendars. This little astromech droid, R2-Q5, is a particularly welcome addition to the Star Wars calendar because until his appearance today, he could only be found in two expensive sets (6211 and 10188) and as a result, commands a high premium over at BrickLink.

    Day 13In the City calendar we have our second policeman. He is actually a unique figure, according to BrickLink, although there isn't anything very special about him. I do like his new-style baseball cap with curved peak though, and we even get a spare one in the bag, which is great.

    He is scowling, looking very angry, so I'm guessing that he might just have been hit by an errant toilet-roll...

I loved today's astromech droid, it's even slightly better than the one I got with the Death Star. On the Death Star the astromech had the printing on the "head" high up, the classic way. This one, however, has the printing lower, like the new ones, but as it's one color it doesn't look odd, like it does on the new R2-D2s. I expected the astromech on the Death Star to have the new type of printing, as R2 had it in that set, but it didn't. I thought that was all right, as I'm not quite used to the new printing yet, but I must say that this is the first astromech with the new printing I've had that looks really good.

As for the policeman... I'm not sure about this new cap piece, it kind of works when put on the other policeman, but it looks really odd with this suit.

You never know he may just be unhappy because his catain got hit with a toilet roll from inside the ststion and is angry at him for not adding a roof

Has anyone noticed how astromech droid legs don't seem as stiff when put on in recent sets? My R2-q5 legs seem to be more loose than r2-d2.(Same for the chrome r2 in the imperial V-wing set)

The city set isn't doing it for me, but more importantly, my daughter grew bored with it after a few days. She stopped opening it several days ago, after the first of four police station walls. Her older brother has the star wars set and even when opening his set, she just isn't enthused about this calendar. Police figs and a jail? What the hell were you thinking, Lego Group? If I could return this set for a refund, I would.

The astromech in the Death Star and the advent calendar are the same, but the one in the Star Destroyer is different. The Star Destroyer version has the older style printing that doesn't cover as much of the dome.
