I checked it out; they also have the Bionicle Makuta from the Phantoka line on sale, as well as Toa Ignika and Mutran and Vican. Oh, and they have Mazeka on sale, too. Mazeka is $20.99 US and Toa Ignika is $13.99 US, the Makuta are $8.99 each, Mutran and Vican is $10.49, and the Bionicle Accessories are cut down, too.

Meh, seems like there's not really that much on sale... at least, not that I'm interested in. I'm saddened that the Ultra Drill Walker is on sale, though, because that's a sign it wasn't selling well, and it was such a fantastic set. :(

The drill tank is cut!

Lol, I hope some of the clone wars set are going to be on sell like the torret fighter. ;)

Wait what do you mean when the droid tank is cut, is that mean that it win't come out?

I got my first non-star wars set! the river chase in indiana jones. I haven't opened it up yet, but i got it on sale for $20, usually $30!. But then again, Hawaii over-prices their lego. I'm in Hawaii for chirstmas on oahu. Haven't seen any 2009 lego sets recently. Aloha!

Thanks for posting this Huw, I think I'll get three or four of them...

I went looking because the news item has the Crystal Reaper pictured with it. Thought it might be for sale as well. But it isn't.

The USA sale is complete garbage.

LEGOBuilder, that IJ4 set is normally $20 in the USA. lol

Captin Rex I mean the Drill Walker's price is cut XD

For someone in Europe, these sales are not worth at all, unless they include S@H exclusives.

Everything can be found in shops for a price lower than the S@H price, and postage costs raise the discount price back, thus usually nullify the discount.

The sale is great if you live in the UK and like star wars. I just bought Imperial lading craft for £35 when it should be £50, and my brother the same with Jedi Starfighter and Hyperdrive booster ring. Awesome sale!

Posted by halfpenguinhalflego in United Kingdom, 30 Dec 2008 09:13

im getting the MTT and the Hyperdrive Booster for my birthday because they are on sale.

AW MAN! I already have most of those sets): i would buy imperial landing craft (good deel) but im saving up for some 2009 sets (:

For the Australian buyers such as myself we can get a minimum of 30% off a great range of sets. SpongeBob, Exo-Force and Mars Mission seem to be the bulk but Star Wars General Grievous 10186, Star Justice 10191, Space Skulls 10192 and the Custom Car Garage 10200 are all 50% off. A coup for this country.
We are lucky to get up to 20% discount at Kmart and Target stores during toy sales, however Myer stores and David Jones have had sales of upto 25% this festive season. Of course TRU has done next to nothing, far from the best place to buy Lego in Australia.
So with these great offers coming from Lego group I have ordered a few hundred A$ worth and probably saved a small fortune. Postage is a killer though but I still come out on top!

Coming to my letter box soon:
3832, 5573, 8398, 8401, 10186, 10191, 10192, 10200 and not forgetting 851680 and 851841 (the really great wrapping paper)
Buy Buy buy, bye

I just bought Brickbeard's Bounty (6243) and Castle Town Square (10193) at the Milton Keynes LEGO Store, and that completed my loyalty card, so giving me a £15 gift voucher, which when combined with the £5 one I got for the first 8 stamps and the £5 voucher my sister gave me for Christmas meant I had £25 worth of vouchers... So I asked if I could get Star Justice (10191) for £25 instead of the stickered £35, as that was the price on the website, and so they said yes and so I got Star Justice for free... Yay! But now I wait to go back to Germany to build them, so as I can use the Daylight Desk Lamp I was also given for Christmas and sit at my nice big LEGO desk instead of breaking my back sitting cross-legged on the floor. Wheee!

I bought the star destroyer for $100 normal price. I wanted to buy it quickly because it was made in 2006, and I got it in 2008. then now there is a christmas sale and the mtt and star destroyer is now $60! and i payed for both! Oh well, it was worth it to buy it ASAP, then to risk it being disconitnued.

Did you guys see the 2009 lego sets, there's so many! and they are all expensive! Lego must think that us young lego collectors are foolish to buy big expensive ones, but we can't do anything about it.

What a tease. I thought the Crystal Reaper would be on sale because it was the pic shown above for the article, but no such luck. :(

Nice sale. I ordered City Harbour (7994), Container Stacker (7992) & Custom Car Garage (10200) (All three on sale!) & Medieval Market Village (10193). Can't wait for them to arrive, although the Village has an expected ship date of Jan. 26th...
