Yawn...
Does anyone have the calendar for LEGO store promotions in the US for February and/or March?

don't have it handy, but i've seen it of course. very underwhelming. the free item this month is the same calendar referenced above.

That poster is clearly a masterpiece and should belong in a museum. I will totally spend $35 on LEGO stuff so I can get that MASTERPIECE :P

That's certainly underwhelming. I've been waiting to order the Funhouse Escape hoping that there'd be free shipping.

There's rarely a time when Lego has free shipping. I don't understand why they don't. I would buy ALL my sets from them in a heartbeat.

And it's not like I buy 5 or 6 sets a year, I buy 5 or 6 sets a month:

@vpustote - Wow! That's a beautiful room with a LOT of Lego. How do you dust all of it?

^^ I want to be your friend... in RL...

Hmm..you wouldn't happen to be an AFOL, would you?! )))))

VERY NICE.

Free Shipping or Double VIP... otherwise I stick with Amazon!

Posted by vpustote in United States, 01 Feb 2012 23:56

@Zacherano, I dust very rarely, luckily it doesn't get too bad.

@yys4u, where are you? I'm in Michigan.

@skherbeck, I agree with. That's about the only time I shop at Lego, or when the item is exclusive or actually hard to find.

@vpustote - I'm with you. Lego.com's shipping costs always surprise me. Considering they're already behind the game against Amazon in most states due to the tax. VIP points don't cut it.

BTW, I've saved your picture to show my wife should she ever complain about my meager Lego cave.

Anyone know when the next double VIP points is?

Posted by UtarEmpire in United States, 02 Feb 2012 09:34

I was thinking of finally picking up Passenger Train (7938), but it seems that the cheapest (non-ebay) place I can find it is at LEGO.com; the thought of shelling out 20 clams or so for shipping is turning me off quite significantly.

I love it when Canada gets no love again. Doesn't hurt my wallet even if there's 2x VIP points now as shipping will probably kill any deal.
