Wow their mark up is 50% on some sets. With the sale, your still spending more then just buying right from the lego store.

The prices are in Aus$ not US$...

Huw, I have a question for you. Where do you find these deals? No, seriously.

That would be telling :-)

Matrix8369: Welcome to our world. Most Lego prices are nearly double the US prices in Australia.
Any time I go to the USA I feel obliged to stock up heavily :)

Having just visited the Outer Rim website I noted that quite a few items have already sold out.... it's now 8am Australian Eastern Time. Their certainly are bargains available, particularly 8110 Unimog U400. At $214.46 it is well priced considering our strong Aust $. I have ordered one.

Here is on they love to rape us on pricing. Especially with the licensed stuff. No so bad on the every day models you can get from the major retailers when they do 20% off but Exclusives and the more adult sets, yeah good luck.

I went on at midnight WST and all the larger ones I wanted were already gone. Really disappointed with this. 2 hours. Kinda hoping they get more stock in before the end of the month. -.-

I've managed to pick up 24 sets. All, bar one, were cheaper than the US listed price. Licenced themes, particularly the Star Wars sets, remained a little to expensive. Now, at 2pm, the vast majority of items are sold out....
A good sale if you are happy to sit and price compare. I feel I got some bargains.
