eBay feeds are down

  • eBay feeds are down

Posted by Huw, 08 Mar 2012 17:47. Filed under Brickset.

There's currently a problem with the eBay data feeds that have been causing Brickset to run extremely slowly while it waited for them to respond.

I have therefore disabled their retrieval until it's been resolved which means the eBay tab on the set details pages will be blank. If you wish to search eBay for specific sets, please use the links in the search results.

eBay are aware of the issue and we can but hope that it's fixed soon. I apologise for the inconvenience.

Update: they took their time, but finally they are working again...

Yes, recently I noticed, that the site was quite slow.
But let me put one compliment - I don`t know much about the webdesign and maintaining the websites so I`m impressed by the skills of Huw (and his team?) who are running this site. You are doing a great job!
