Oh I'm sure they'll put them up for preorder after we the Yanks are directly out of the double VIP points period..

Europe gets Captain America first, Ironic.

Pre-order already? O.o

I'm glad to have them now, but my wallet isn't. And I can't really buy these without consulting my wallet :/

EDIT: No sign of the Spiderman set. Will this be available by April or not until after the film is released (I don't know when this is)?

Posted by Krivorn in United States, 12 Mar 2012 16:35

Come to think of it, isn't it weird that they made all these avengers sets and in the middle of it all just one X-Men set?

Posted by BrickBob09 in United Kingdom, 12 Mar 2012 16:40

In the middle of all the Batman sets there was one Superman set. Don't forget, as I mentioned above, we've still got the Spiderman set to come yet too.

£51 worth of commission or whatever its called coming your way. I've just ordered the 3 cheapest sets.
I have to confess that apart from X-Men I don't know a lot about Marvel superheroes and don't know who half the characters are. I am fanactic about new Minifigs though and couldn't resist them. I'll probably Bricklink the ones out of the bigger sets though.
Just need to work out how many unique figs there are.

Wow is it just me or are these more expensive than expected!?!?
Hulk and Captain America sets in particular don't seem like particularly good value for money.
Will still buy them though!

Pacman? Go to the Hulk helicarrier breakout set, go to the 4th picture, (Loki breaking out of a glass case) use that nifty zoom in tool and zoom in to the computer screen on the upper right. There is CLEARLY a blue Pacman ghost.

Do Lego take the money out of your account beforehand? Or is it after they ship the toys?
@Carnigee, I'm pretty sure its Space Invaders :) Nifty little touch
I'm planning to get Captain America's cycle, Wolverine's Chopper Showdown, Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape (for Iron Man), and Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout, so there's already 5 of the 6 main Avengers completed, and I'll just Ebay Black Widow.

The prices are pretty much £-$ here so no surprises. It's a shame lego do prices like that. However only the small sets here interest me as I want a capn america fig.

Posted by aquafreak125 in United Kingdom, 13 Mar 2012 02:52

Does anyone know if Lego charge the money straight away or is it when the product is available?

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 13 Mar 2012 03:42

^ When it ships.

WANT.

Posted by Delatron in United Kingdom, 13 Mar 2012 06:19

Excited to see these but the prices seem to go from reasonable (Cap'n America, Wolverine set, Cosmic cube set) then shoot up to £50 for the only set with the Hulk and £70 for the quinjet set? Seems very expensive, even for licensed sets in the UK. I will be looking to get the three cheaper sets but i'll have to do without Hulk smashing unless he ends up on sale sometime. Not good value for me.

@Carnigee77 I agree with @aquafreak125 it looks way more like Space Invaders and it just sold me on this set that I probably would have held off on. I can't be the only one imagining a guard goofing off playing video games instead of keeping Loki locked up

Posted by cheshirecat in United Kingdom, 14 Mar 2012 06:22

Given that star wars sets get heavily discounted in the UK I can't see much reason why these won't too - particularly in the UK where surely this licence is somewhat less anticipated than the US for example.
