It seems the folks in the US distribution center have unearthed some more ARF troopers at the back of the warehouse. Murphquake reports in the forum that he received an email yesterday stating:

Free Shadow ARF Trooper with $99 purchase: Limit 1 free LEGO Star Wars™ Shadow ARF Trooper™ minifigure per order. Offer is valid with promotional code only from March 15 – March 31, 2012 or while supplies last only. Qualifying purchases must be at least $99 in LEGO® Star Wars™ merchandise only; taxes, shipping charges or gift card purchases do not apply to total. Excludes backorder items. Cannot be applied to previous purchases or combined with any other discount, offer or free gift. Minifigure available exclusively through this offer. Approx. values: Minifigure: $3.99. Offer on shop.LEGO.com only. Not valid in LEGO Stores, through the LEGO Catalog and in LEGOLAND® Parks or Discovery Centers. The LEGO Group reserves the right to cancel or modify this promotion without advance notice.

Apparently a promotional code is needed at the checkout, which is FRA1 in the USA and FRA2 in Canada.

If you don't already have one, click on the yellow LEGO banner in the sidebar and get your order in today!

Uggh again, can't they make a shadow Mandalorian or something??

Posted by LegoKitfisto15 in United States, 18 Mar 2012 15:22

@Nightshroud99 Ditto, but this may be a good time to get one if you don't already have one like me. This is probably the last time we will see this figure available through lego direct. This promotion will also drop the value of these guys on the secondary market. :)

Awesome, just gave me a reason to place another LEGO order.
Yes, I can confirm that the code works!!
Please FREE Shipping is still going on.
(if only I didn't have to pay $20 tax on this order)
Live in Washington st. we have to pay taxes on Amazon orders and Lego orders, arghhhh

Same here in NY (((

Darn. I placed an order on Monday for the Town Hall. Had I waited I could have gotten one of these. I've got to said I've not been to happy about S@H's March promotions.

@Steverd: Free shipping is until the 31st. I just checked with my lego catalog.

This kinda old, I got an email about this like 3 days ago.

Posted by legoninja0701 in United States, 18 Mar 2012 17:08

really? this is like the 4th time lego has done this

Posted by goldfish in United Kingdom, 18 Mar 2012 17:13

nice to see the value of these drop on the secondary market.

Posted by Steverd in United States, 18 Mar 2012 17:36

That was in an Email? I never got that, arghh.
Just check all of my Lego emails in my delete box and nothing.
Are they sent out by Legoshop.com or Lego VIP?

Anything like this for the UK or Europe?

Posted by murphquake in United States, 18 Mar 2012 17:59

Gmail put the email in my spam folder, it came on Thursday, when I happened to place a $140 order. Cool to be in the news :-) Thanks @Huw!

Posted by Renny in United States, 18 Mar 2012 18:10

Thanks for the posting. I went ahead and placed an order for just over $100 to get this.

Do the tags not work with following punctuation? @Huw , thanks! Just called S@H and they added this quite kindly to the order I made on Thursday! Kudos to TLG for absolutely fantastic customer service. It may be rare to be treated like a welcomed guest by a corporation these days but they really show that they are dedicated to their customers. -bill

No they don't, it would be easy to implement it except for one thing: names can have spaces in them so there is no way to tell where the name ends, unlike in the forum where spaces are not allowed in names.

Posted by TBOC in United States, 18 Mar 2012 19:23

@Steverd It was from Lego Shop for me.

I think I'l pass if this were "free Shirtless Darth Maul" than this would be more of a deal.

Posted by lovaquero in United States, 19 Mar 2012 09:57

^ This is the same minifig that was the "incentive" for the "May the 4th" promo in 2011. It is relatively rare, but by no means new.

Posted by wRuB in United Kingdom, 19 Mar 2012 10:22

Yah, they had this promo in the UK before Xmas.

Posted by Mequel De Vaughn in United States, 20 Mar 2012 07:39

I hope the shirtless Darth Maul is the May 4th promo "May The 4th be with you"

Posted by iabstract in United States, 20 Mar 2012 14:26

Approx. values: Minifigure: $3.99.

Ha! Obviously Lego has never bothered to check how much this goes for on eBay (not to mention you have to spend $100 to get it). Funny how they keep finding more of these...

Posted by murphquake in United States, 21 Mar 2012 09:17

@iabstract "finding" lol

Got the email that mine shipped. Shibby! Just to confirm, my order wasn't for anything SW related (MBA actually).

Posted by weinner in United States, 21 Mar 2012 13:26

How long do you guys think these will last?

Posted by weinner in United States, 21 Mar 2012 22:50

Got mine,yay!

Posted by murphquake in United States, 22 Mar 2012 19:30

Next order in, hope to have 3 or maybe 4 of these by the time its done. FYI double VIP points on the Sith Collection (Darth Maul Sith Infiltrator 7961 & Sith Nightspeeder 7957) ...not a great deal but with the double points it should push your VIP rewards up another $10, added in the Naboo mini-planet to break $99 and should have it all next week, the first one says it should come this weekend!

Posted by mysteriouspi in United States, 23 Mar 2012 17:45

Thanks for posting this, I took advantage of the offer ASAP (this and free shipping combined were really nice). This one will look great alongside the other shadow troopers.
