Cool.

I see there is a logo on the microsite for X-Men. I assume that means we'll see more sets featuring them in the future, hopefully later this year.

I really do hope that the deal is cheaper when it gets to America; I can't afford a Wii game for $78.

Posted by Mars Needs LEGO in United States, 23 Mar 2012 17:20

@The BrickKeeper According to the US EBGames site, the game costs $49.99 for the PS3, 360, and Vita and $39.99 for the Wii and 3DS.

And not to pick nits, but it's Lex LUTHOR. :)

Don't worry Neil, those are just Australian prices.
Videogames are silly expensive in Oz.

Posted by voypro in United States, 23 Mar 2012 17:55

I am looking more forward to the Video Game than the minifig.

If you go on Lego Marvel site if you click on the people it gives information

Posted by flyguy in Australia, 23 Mar 2012 19:27

Amazon.com $50 eb games $78 both sites have shipping on top.
So ozzies pay about $35 for a minifig?
I'll pass. Rip off oz prices must stop.

A bigger picture of the minifig is here --> https://content.ebgames.com.au/website/images/packshots/bonus_lego_batman_2_large.jpg

It appears to be somewhat based off of Lex Luthor's exoskeleton armor from Superman/Batman: Public Enemies --> http://fortresstakes.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/superman_batman_public_enemies_lex_luthor_armor.jpg

I could be mistaken, but is the armour piece the same mould as the one on the space marine in the next Minifigures series?

Posted by kriseddie6983 in United States, 24 Mar 2012 13:14

I am gonna order a DS version cause they are universal and can be played on any DS. And its cheaper.

Posted by Plasmodium in United Kingdom, 24 Mar 2012 14:08

@Energyarrow: You could be right, I haven't studied both in detail, but the link above to Whitefang's review of the series 7 minifigs says it's the same.

Wow, that is beautiful! Does anyone know if this minifig freebie is available anywhere that ships to the USA?! =)

Posted by 22896mbw in United States, 25 Mar 2012 00:28

Uh, 6862 is not Superman vs. Power Armor Lex!

Posted by itsaturkey in United States, 25 Mar 2012 10:57

Lex Luthor's armor is indeed the same as the Space guy. The only difference I can see is that the bottom left of Lex's armor seems to be cut off.

Posted by Zolkoe in Hungary, 25 Mar 2012 13:28

There is no difference, his left hand hides that part of the armor.

Posted by itsaturkey in United States, 25 Mar 2012 18:08

^ Ah, I see. I wonder if we'll see that piece in other Lego sets?

Posted by homelesshomie in United States, 26 Mar 2012 10:42

Any news on a similar offer also for Europe? Just checked all European Gamestop sites but I found nothing...

Posted by the_real_indy in United States, 27 Mar 2012 22:55

@brizio,

Try different major sellers to see if one of them has it exclusively... or perhaps wait a few days and check again...

It was announced in Australia with EBGames first, then the USA with GameStop a few days later.

Good Luck!

GameStop confirmed that "there is no SKU number" for the free Lex Luthor fig, so it won't be listed on the invoice.
