Forum member LostInTranslation has spotted the new Marvel Super Heroes sets at John Lewis, Oxford Street (UK). She's snapped some cell phone photos for us, which I've uploaded below, as proof they are now on sale :-) Keep an eye out for these sets at other John Lewis stores, and let us know if you find them. If you have no luck, it's not too long until the official launch on Sunday...

    Thanks Lucy!

EDIT - there seems to be an issue with embedding images from that hosting site, so switched to links (bluemoose)

When are they coming to US? I can't wait!

Posted by Dinasurfex2 in Canada, 26 Mar 2012 20:10

Where are the pictures? They're not showing up! Did you take them down or something?

Posted by legoninja0701 in United States, 26 Mar 2012 21:14

oh now i can see the pictures! just turn off your computer and turn it on again!

I couldn't see them initially but then right-clicked the image to open them in a new tab.
Awesome!

I can't see them on the new Ipad3.

Try using Google Chrome. It almost always loads pictures for me, as opposed to Internet Explorer, which never loads pictures or Firefox, which only loads them half of the time...

I find this very exciting - can't wait for the sets to reach Hong Kong!

Posted by deathwatch in Hong Kong, 27 Mar 2012 06:08

Man, I need to pre-order them... The 1st DC Universe wave was all sold in 3 days in HK

Posted by murphquake in United States, 27 Mar 2012 06:21

Interesting that there's no piece count on the front of the boxes...

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 27 Mar 2012 06:42

@murphquake - Boxes in the UK have not got the piece count on them, only the name and set number.

The LEGO Shop Facebook page finally made an official announcement that they're going on sale in the US on April 1st. Still no signs of pre-order or anything though.

I scored a Hulk's Helicopter Breakout at a Target in North Carolina, USA yesterday, so the sets are starting to hit the shelves. I could not find a product tag on the shelf, so it is possible that this was not supposed to have been put out for sale, but they are certainly in stockrooms.

AWESOME! You got a marvel set! I'm planning on going to target in a couple of days (If I can do enough chores for $20, of course) And I'm hoping at least the wolverine set will be there...

Pro-tip: imgur.com is the best image hosting site out there. That site was set up to host pictures for Reddit; if it can handle that load then Brickset's is easy-peasy.

I saw the ultra build sets in the corner of the first quintet picture. :D

I'm tempted about getting these early, thats if they're in any stores near me of course, but I'm thinking of purchasing a HeroFactory hero recon team figure, but can't buy both until May, by which time Hero Recon Team Would've shut down.

I just want the minifigs. The set are decent, but not great.

mequel de vaughn, i agree with you...

These sets are listed for sale on Walmart.com in the USA.

What a great year this will be... Marvel, more DC?, LOTR, Monsters....So SWEET!

Looking forward to these. I, like my Dad, have loved Marvel and DC (and 2000AD to a degree) since we where children. Since I was 8 I've been able to read his 5,000 plus comic collection, so hearing about a LEGO line for both of them in July I've been extatic since. Funny, July last year seems like yesterday. I love the look of some of the sets but some just don't do it for me, but I'll buy them all the same. Just need some Series Seven for some custom Avengers and my Masters of Evil.

Was in John Lewis in Aberdeen yesterday but the only Marvel set was the Captain America big-fig.
