AFOLCON keynote speaker announced
Tormod has been with the LEGO Group since 1983. Starting off as a Marketing Trainee he worked in 7 different departments during the first two years. This helped him establish a good network to colleagues across the business. In 1986, he moved to LEGO Education and spent almost 10 years in various marketing positions. He started a “home learning” project in 1996 which led to the launch of LEGO Mindstorms. He then established a new department called “Community and Learning” in 1999 and has been working with LEGO user communities ever since.
The AFOLCON team is delighted to welcome Tormod to AFOLCON. For those of you who have been in the LEGO community for any time, you will know that Tormod has been central to the involvement of the fan community with The LEGO Group which has been no small feat!
