Wow, Germany? Those sets look very cool! Although... the picture quality is not that good! Anyway, that... animal in Echo Base looks VERY cool! I'll try to get it(I doubt it though)!

Another set with Anakin and Ahsoka... I think I'm going to end up with about 20 of each of them.

Oh well, can't wait to see them on the shelves in the States

- Uhm, I can't remember that good (I was of course extremely enthusiastic about the 2 sets I bought), but I thought not so. At least not the 'Republic Cruiser' thingy because that would have caught my attention. So no Echo Base or any of the other new sets.

20 minutes? Ah, Landgraaf I see. But no Dutchy? ;)

Posted by skipp in Netherlands, 22 May 2009 15:48

Whoa, you're good. Yes, I live in landgraaf. No dutchy.

This is quite off-topic (apologies to the admins), just send me a message sometime.

Ah, so the endor review is up!

Now I came to think of it, I thought I saw the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid as well. Maybe Skipp can confirm when he paid a little visit as well.

Btw Skipp, I send you a message.

Wow, we need more updates as to when they're coming around to the US...it's unprecidented for new sets, though, thats for sure. Last July I got the 6212 X-wing at my local TRU (which was shelved with 6777 Hoth Rebel Base as well) which was at least a month or more before it was availible from LEGO. I noticed also that TRU subtly raised the price on 6212, when i purchased mine last year, was $50 USD. Last time i visited it was there for $60 USD. Coincidence? i think not, and its not something TRU hasnt done before, but i'm glad i got it for a fair price and for so early, it was like a miracle.

I'll see if I can check it out next weekend, very busy this week. Maybe I'll pick up a tank droid.

ECHO BASE IS THE BEST SMALL SET IN A LONG TIME!!!!!!!

you guys in Germany are so lucky. I can't wait for the star wars sets to come to the US. Battle of endor Echo Base, Tank Droid, Separtist Shuttle, all of which I can't wait for

Dropped by TRU in Dietlikon Switzerland, and YES, picked up 7748/9, 8036-39. Saw some of the new farm/city, but no indy jones, although there were two pallets of unpacked LEGO between the shelves...AND, got FIVE free chrome vader's with my purchase :).

My son just finished building echo base - thankfully the taun taun doesn't have that ugly seam/crack as pictured on the box. Cute set.

The sticker's that come with some of these sets - be careful - you can't peel them off to readjust because the glue tends to stick to the LEGO and not the sticker - looks really messy after being reapplied. There are also numerous printed parts in the sets, sometimes even both.

The clutching power seems very good, sometimes nearly too tight with some of the smaller pieces, but rather so as in 2007 when many pieces were to loose.

The minifigs are all great, paticularily the ewoks.

Posted by skipp in Netherlands, 23 May 2009 08:38

5 free chrome vaders? Whoa!

@clone commander trainrex: We're not that lucky. Sets here are overpriced. Sure, for once, we get star wars sets early. But you get SPIII, we don't. You get the star wars poster, we don't. Your luckier.

Posted by ping1232 in United States, 23 May 2009 11:08

Well yes but I would lovveee for the star wars sets to come here BEFORE August! Also you might be able to get spIII from bricklink or it might come later this year!

Posted by Zwing in United Kingdom, 27 May 2009 14:47
