    8169: Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4
    Racers/Lamborghini, 2009
    More details...
    ©2009 LEGO Group

    They're almost here...

LEGOshop.com has listed as currently "not available" about forty-five new releases including City, Castle, Agents, Racers, Space Police and several Duplo sets for customers in Europe, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand.

I see 8169 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is amongst the new releases but the three Power Miners sets are missing although they are available already in the shops here (NZ). I think June is going to be an expensive month!

UPDATE: The City and Castle sets, and the Lamborghini are now available for ordering!

Does anyone know anything about 7747's (Wind Turbine Transport) availability? That's the one City set I want to get from the summer line-up but I've not received any reports of people finding it in shops.

Posted by Republic Commando Sev in United States, 30 May 2009 17:41

@Huw: It's not available on Lego Shop@Home, and it's not avaliable at Toys R Us. Those are the two places I would think would have it first, so I don't think it's avaliable yet.

@Huw-It might be an exclusive to TRU, like squidman's pitstop, meaning it will come later.

I really hope we get some SPIII. Bought the impulses today, they're amazing sets. Still nothing on Indiana Jones?

Posted by nath8888 in United States, 30 May 2009 21:11

THE LAMBORGHINI IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting sooooo long!

Posted by GameOn99 in United States, 30 May 2009 22:04

I cannot wait, for the new sets to be in retail stores and for Lego Indiana Jones 3-1
(Space police III rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Posted by ShatteredGnome in United States, 30 May 2009 22:20

That wind turbine transport set actually does look pretty cool.

Oh, and sorry about the Indy incident Republic Commando Sev :(

Posted by Grahame in New Zealand, 30 May 2009 22:22

Four people claim they own the wind turbine transport set. I wonder where they got them from?

Posted by johnny-t in United States, 30 May 2009 22:35

I found the wind turbine transport at TRU here in Las Vegas, along with the other CITY sets. There was only one on the shelf behind the helicopter transport sets. I haven't seen it anywhere else, I really don't think it was supposed to be out but TRU sometimes will do that.

They don't catch it like Wal-Mart does. I always see new sets at Wal-Mart early, but when I go to get them, they tell me they're not for sale, then they rush it off to the back. Got lucky this time I guess.

Why doesn't my nickname ever get mentioned in these articles? I discovered it after all! Oh well... you could say "Thanks to everyone who reported it!"! Anyways, I hope we can order those sets soon...

P.S. Sorry if I'm bothering you, I just feel as if I deserve some credit!

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 31 May 2009 08:49

@ Alemas: I thought the same thing about the chrome vader in the UK early, but I suppose I reported it first in a thread and not striaght to the MODs as Dr.Sinister would have done.

It's odd that the UK gets most of the Star Wars sets (considering they're licensed) but no Indy and also no Power Miners. That's odd. Still, I hope that TLG update their site on Monday or Tuesday for me to place some orders. Besides, if those sets aren't up soon, I'll be buying lots of PS3 game add-ons. :) (I still love Lego more)

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 31 May 2009 09:05

@Comm.-Cody: Yeah, let's keep our fingers crossed;)...

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 31 May 2009 11:26

@Alemas & @Commander-Cody - we get lots of emails from readers, and it can take a while to go through them all; many of them are about things we have already reported (for example we've had a couple of emails in the last few days to say that SP3 is now listed on the US LEGO Shop; yes, we know, it was reported here over a week ago !). We also get a lot of 'trivial' reports, that, honestly, are not news worthy. We aren't constantly on-line, updating the site, so there is often a delay between the info being sent & us posting it, which may make it look like you got in first.

Having said that, we really do appreciate any info you send us, even if we don't always reply directly; however, *please* quote where you got the info from. We often get posts from people claiming they have 'discovered' some info, when all they have done is copy it from some other website & claimed it as their own. Thanks.

Oh, while I remember - please, no more links to very poor quality pictures of "squidman's pitstop"; that image has been around for months & it does not meet Brickset's image quality standards- it's way too small & way too poor quality.

However, if you find a nice big, high quality picture of the set, please let us know :-)

@bluemoose: Ah, I see. I cannot contact you though! I'm too young! Get it?

Posted by capnrex in United Kingdom, 31 May 2009 12:53

@Alemas: When did you find out about the sets being listed on the Lego website? I ask because I also contacted them about that.

I remember I got my Wind Turbine set from some special event happening at Copenhagen's Tivoli. Some sponsor thing. Why I even bought it, I don't know, I already own the motorized one!

Posted by Alemas in Germany, 31 May 2009 13:12

@capnrex: Good question, I can't remember! I think... 28th of May, something like that!

Posted by Zwing in United Kingdom, 31 May 2009 14:10

I agree, june is a expensive month. But maybe it will be worth it as this sets are great.

Posted by jeffjcc in United States, 31 May 2009 14:31

7747 behind helicopter transporter????.... UH OH, I might have to go back to TRU and start digging!!!

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 31 May 2009 17:31

Question! Is the lambo a full blown out model like the VW Beetle, or is it like a tiny turbos thing because I'd really to know what that set looks like.

Posted by Acadia in United States, 31 May 2009 17:51

I saw the 7747 wind turbine transporter on Brickshelf. Someone by the name of Vlada owns one. Heres the
link http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=380806 (I hope that worked)

Nath8888, where do you see the Lamborghini? I checked the Lego USA site and I don't see it. I also checked out some of the European pages and didn't see it either (UK, NZ).

edit: nevermind guys, I see it on some of the European pages under Hard to Find (I was looking under Racers, where it should be in my opinion).

edit: Thanks Dentarthurdent for your tip, you can see it under Hard to Find (not for US though) as well.

Vroom Vroom everyone! haha

@FiletOFish67: You can see the Lamborghini through the Lego racers product link, not through the Lego Shop, here: http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=8169
