Summer sets hit the shelves

It seems some summer sets are on the shelves already in Germany. The hospital has been purchased by Cwetqo over on Eurobricks who, bizarrely, has posted a picture of the back of the box but not the front. We haven't seen a large picture of the front yet, as far as I know.

And, also in Germany, the Monster Fighters have been spotted on the shelves in Cologne, which really is very early given they are supposed to be out for Halloween.

Hopefully we'll get some decent pictures of them soon.

Not what I'd call 'decent' but better than nothing...

@Huw: What can grogall do if LEGO.com's cache doesn't have "decent" images? :P

The monster fighter sets from Germany ended up on ebay.

They aren't from LEGO.com. I already scan that regularly. They are from toy shop websites.

I posted just picture of the back of the hospital because front side was already shown many times. On the backside several details and - most important - layout could be seen. They also had large mining truck and already mentioned monsters set. Unfortunately I did not have camera with me in the store, so sorry, no pics.

Just an assumption...Star Wars wasn't out yet right?

The Hospital is a must buy. I'm also going to pick up the Haunted House when it comes out. I'm not too into the Monster Fighters theme but the video advertising it on LEGO's website is quite good. I'll probably pick up the swamp monster though since I don't have that monster because it wasn't offered in collectible mini-figures line.

@Energyarrow

yea this years I'm Jumping into Ninjago sets after taking a good look at their boxarts to see what parts they are offering. The blue jet plane is very generous on hinges while the Fangpyre Mech's is virtually a MOC-ers dream-come-true for harvesting grilled slopes and brackets. I'm able to build an articulated bipedal mech in human proportion with just its parts.

Opened the Blade Cycle and I was extremely satisfied with the building process. I'm looking forward to the rest of the sets from this theme, if my wallet doesn't cry in pain.

Wow. That's a deadly banana the guy slipped on.

I don't mind it as a doctor's practice, but a full-on hospital? That room on the second floor looks like a combined operating theatre and recovery ward, which is a shame (shouldn't they be two separate rooms?). Not bad, but not their best hospital, I don't think.

As for the monsters - I like the vampire's castle and the swamp monster. I'm still not keen on the train. And what's up with the zombie wedding?

Posted by Rockman Xtreme in United States, 30 Apr 2012 08:51

^Yeah, it does. Some LOTR dudes are selling on ebay.

Posted by Zordboy in Australia, 30 Apr 2012 09:05

And there's a few of the new Ninjago sets already on eBay as well.

Monster Fighter sets are available at the Lego store in Hamburg, Germany.

Hmmm, Looks like they copied the Scientist and Monster from CMF for the one set... Still look neat. I think these should sell pretty well.

Anybody know if there is picture of the Spider-Man/Iron Fist set? Sorry if its been asked before, but I'm a bit out of date with Lego news due to being ill.
On topic, I've only just bought the Marvel sets I wanted, let alone saved any money for City/LOTR/Monster Hunters/CM8s, and in a way its shocking to see them out already. By the end of the year I will living in a box with so many good sets coming out.
