Can't wait to buy this one. But I'll wait just another 3 days. That way I can also pick up a chrome C3PO!!!

^ Yes I shall wait the 3 days and do the same as I have saved up my VIP points for this very item :)

Thank you for reminding me about the minifig. I am going to wait as well.

I wish I had the room for this set. (Just wondering, how do you know if you get TC-14 if you spend over $75?)

Posted by Nightshroud99 in Canada, 01 May 2012 12:12

Can't reasonably afford this at the moment, I'll wait for a sale.

The good news about this is that is is about 8.5 cents a piece - much cheaper than previous large Star Wars sets .

There's also free shipping, not sure about the restrictions on that are tho.
EDIT: I think it's over $75.

A$250 + A$40 shipping and handling from the Australian Lego.com shop. The A$40 delivery option is up to 13 days, while there's a A$90 option which is up to 6 days. I find the cost, and delivery times, for both options to be excessively high. That said I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my very own astromech droid.

Further to my previous post, I just found out that order from the Australian shop are actually shipped from Denmark to Australia. $40 is very reasonable considering size of package and distance travelled. I should check my facts thoroughly before posting...

I ordered R2-D2 yesterday, and TC-14 seems to have been added to my order anyway (I haven't gotten it yet, things may change).

Just a heads up, if they are indeed putting TC-14s in every R2 order from May 1st, given Lego's track record, I'd be concerned that there will be very few left come May 4th. (I'm in Canada)

good price for over 2000 pices

Posted by fitash in Spain, 02 May 2012 11:32

I have ordered mine (and another for a friend of mine) by mistake, since I didn't know about the May 4th promotion... and in the shipment details it seems that they have sent me the tc14, a R2D2 poster and a micro tie fighter!!!! And one for each R2D2 :)

If you want one in the US you'll have to wait, it's "out of stock", expected ship date is May 27th.
