    9465: The Zombies
    Monster Fighters, 2012
    More details...
    ©2012 LEGO Group

Pictures of the Monster Fighters zombies 9465, have not yet been published to the LEGO.com cache but a Polish LEGO blog has uncovered hi-res pictures of it. The vehicle looks like it's equipped with some serious zombie-squashing apparatus, doesn't it!

Wow, I guess this proves that zombies were not at all the reason the Winchester got rejected.

This series looks like FUN! I assume zombies pop up out of those graves. They're not shying away from where zombies come from, nor how to despatch them...

Posted by Doomtrool in United Kingdom, 14 May 2012 16:44

I've saved this onto my desktop, just in case "the brick set effect strikes again"

Posted by dougts in United States, 14 May 2012 16:45

man, the whole MF series is just plain fun, silly, awesomeness, but this one may be the best of the bunch. Any idea who's exclusive this is going to be?

Posted by bigw1974 in United States, 14 May 2012 16:47

I just want the zombies...think they might come out with a zombies battle pack? Then I can have them chase my one-handed sheriff and his kid through town... :)

^ me too.

You'll find a bunch of unboxed pictures of that zombie set (and other Monster Fighters sets) on this Flickr account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/30199512@N06/

I love this set, it's the only one of the Monster Fighters sets I have to have. Three great zombie minifigs for the collection, and the vehicles doesn't look half bad either. I wonder what the price will be?

Has anybody else noticed that with this set, Lego has released 4 brides in less than a year, all with different torso and skirt designs no less? There must be a serious bridezilla working for TLG these days...

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 14 May 2012 17:30

This set looks superb! Probably my favourite of the Monster Fighters sets so far.

Posted by Graysmith in Sweden, 14 May 2012 18:06

I have to admit I'm kinda disappointed that they themed the zombies, and it feels like a bit of a mistake by LEGO too since people would've been far more inclined to buy multiples of this set for Zombie Army building if it'd included generic zombies (a la the Collectable Minifigures zombie) rather than these.. Don't think as many are interested in building an army of Zombie Grooms.

I would've probably bought this if it'd come with generic zombies instead of these ones. Not particularly interested in the Zombie Bride and Groom, and the other two minifigures I can get in other sets.

If you've not watched the Monster Fighters promo, it's a fun video!

I like this set!
I also like how it revives the Shaun of the Dead debate from the Cuusoo debacle. Suggestive versus literal. We all know what to do with that hammer and we know what zombies eat for breakfast but we can only "suggest" that the hammer will be used like "Tom and Jerry" rather than like Resident Evil. On the zombie girl, Is that runny lipstick or Catchup? Hmmm...

I like this theme, but I wish the the minifigs didn't have robotic arms and legs.

Posted by grogall in Germany, 14 May 2012 18:38

Actually I published these pics on Eurobricks earlier today and the where published on that polish blog without credit!
as usual!

I love this set and will by it and all the other monster sets but,

ATTENTION LEGO:
Three words....Zombie Battle Pack!

Posted by DrDaveWatford in United Kingdom, 14 May 2012 19:38

Thanks, Grogall - what would we do without the images you uncover ?!

Posted by Rockman Xtreme in United States, 14 May 2012 19:45

@graysmith All you have to do is change heads/hats and bodies. Not too hard.

I really like zombies. They are cool!

Posted by covecollectable in Canada, 14 May 2012 19:49

I think you may see a good secondary market for the Zombie Bride and Groom. Looks like a fun set with a different color hair on the bride and a white spider that I have not seen before.

Monster Fighters are so awesome. Check out this headless horseman I saw on Cuusoo today:

That hammer looks like mjolnir.

Grogall, beg your pardon, but this pictures I draw from server http://www.LEGO.com, not You. I’ve had it a couple of hours earlier than You.

grogall You usually the first find LEGO sets sensational images, I often look in your gallery and when I link your photos, always according to the source. But this photos (Monster Fighters) I have from http://cache.lego.com.

Posted by grogall in Germany, 15 May 2012 02:47

Is there any official UK release date for these? If Germany and the US have already got them then they should start popping up soon right?
This set looks quite good, I love the giant hammers on McHammer's wheels! :D

Has anybody got information on the 30201 polybag? I LOVE it!

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 15 May 2012 07:34

^ I think we all do, that is probably my favourite polybag of all time, not only does it have a great figure, but a pretty neat little model as well!

Posted by LostInTranslation in United Kingdom, 15 May 2012 08:24

^^^ Dead cert to be a Halloween promo, surely?

I am loving all the Monster Fighters sets. Going to be very impatient til they are available in the UK.

Posted by Outer Rim Emperor in United States, 15 May 2012 09:51

I absolutely love this new theme! I want to get my hands on several of those ghost polybags! wow!

Posted by grogall in Germany, 15 May 2012 09:52

@ Steve_J_OM it will be available next week here in Germany at very few stores.

Prize here will be between €2.99 and €4.99 I have a bunch on order so if anyone is interested please PM me!

I ordered 10 and can get more if need be.

Posted by brix in United Kingdom, 15 May 2012 14:08

I still think everything in this theme seems a little mis-matched like, why are there luminous yellow flick-fire missiles on an old-fashioned dark-red truck? The model would have looked a whole lot better without them - they belong on spaceships and futuristic vehicles. The "theme" doesn't actually really have a theme except the fact that there are monsters and people fighting them in every set.

Posted by Be-Burger in Israel, 16 May 2012 10:11

I will definitely be getting this just for the zombies :)

Posted by sn0wman in Hong Kong, 23 May 2012 03:20

The Monster Fighters sets are available on S@H now. However this zombies set is only available in Europe. It is not listed in the US LEGO site yet.
