I've updated the minifigs

Posted by Huw, 11 Jul 2009 03:35. Filed under Brickset.

I've just imported the minifig lists from BrickLink so we now have data for all the summer IJ and most of the new SW sets. I've also sorted out cross-referencing Advent calendars and sets that BrickLink calls 'Gear', like chess sets and magnets. So, if you have your collection recorded here go to 'My sets' and refresh your minifig collection!

Importing them is a slightly laborious proceess so I only do it once a month or so at the moment but I'm going to work at improving things so it can be done at least weekly.

Thanks Huw.
Great to have some droids from SW now shown in the list which previously weren't.
A boba Fett with red markings on his helmet, was unaware of that - Anybody know where this fig comes from?
D.V. with eyebrows, without eyebrows - better look more closely at my figs in the future.

edit: Oh, right, the magnet sets. Boba was staring me in the eyes while I posted. :)

In this magnet set: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=852552-1. There's still a problem matching BrickLink's magnet, advent and chess set entries with Brickset's but I'm going to work on it.

Thanks Huw! I haven't gotten any of the new sets yet but I plan to get one or two during the summer break here-it lasts until August!

You know Huw, you can keep this updating monthly if it really is strenuous as you say it is. I don't mind. You should take a break every now and then. :)

@Huw, "There's still a problem matching BrickLink's magnet, advent and chess set entries with Brickset's but I'm going to work on it."

I've now sorted this, apart from a couple of chess sets which will be taken care of when I next import.

:-)

Hey Huw, this is cool but I still can't find any chrome minifigs.
Besides that, it's GREAT.

@Mr.Wampa, let me know how BrickLink indentifies them and I'll look into it.

I wasn't sure where to put this comment, so hopefully this will get noticed :) Is there any way to submit missing set information? I have the 315 Container Ship (from 1976), but cannot find it on BrickSet.com. Since I am trying to keep a complete list of my sets on this site, it would be nice to be able to add that one as well. Is there any way to submit the information about the set to you, or could you get it from other sites (LUGNet and Peeron both have it listed).
