Good news, but also some bad news: Did anyone else notice the price of the not-yet-released Haunted House has gone up to £149.99? :(

Posted by bezetkace in Poland, 27 Jun 2012 04:44

Yup. Long time ago. Same thing in EUR price. LEGO press release: 149.99, and on the S@H page 179.99 EUR.
I have asked about that on LEGO fb page, but no answer. :)

$ = € lol~

I could be wrong, but I think the EUR price went up a few weeks ago, whereas the GBP price changed only recently.

Are these Mini Sopwith Camels available in stores? I presume so. I find it a little curious that the two exclusive Star Wars sets are still not yet listed but I am sure there is a reason for that.

EDIT: Yes it is in stores, it says so on the website. I should have looked harder to begin with!

Nice work on that Samurai Mech by the way Nabil, I think it looks superb.

The mech is available from Amazon.es for 23,48 euros (plus shipping).

The new mini set looks good, but not as impressive as Ralph and Ed's original Mini Sopwith Camel, produced for the 2009 GWLS.

I am absolutely loving the mining sets. All are currently in my basket on the S@H, I just need to work up the courage to press 'checkout' and potentially incur the wrath of the other half.

I don't think 'but I got a free mini sopwith camel' will placate her.

Some of the Ninjago sets look superb especially the samurai mech. The Ultra sonic raider and dragon battle also look pretty good too. Te bite cycle doesn't do much for me though.

The mining sets look pretty cool and are the best city line I think I've seen since the space line IMO.

It's good to see the star wars sets back which have the same prices as before (which some are more reasonable than others).

I'm disappointed Lego have knocked another £30 on to the haunted house set. As I've already bought quite a bit I don't think I'll be able t buy the set if it stays at this price.

The mini sop with camel is also free when you spend $100AUD from Lego direct in Australia.

Offer is available in Germany (55 Euros) and Switzerland (100 CHF), too.

So close to placing my giant £300+ Lego order now! Just need the LOTR sets to come in soon!

Posted by pantzman in United Kingdom, 27 Jun 2012 11:09

I could be wrong in doing so but I'm going to complain to Lego as I placed a big order yesterday and it P***es me off that I missed out on free postage and a gift...No harm in asking I guess but not holding my breath.

Loving the new lego but got admit the price rise on the haunted house is a bit much and making me question whether i can afford that.

I hate it when you end up with £120 of stuff in your basket but cannot find any way to spread it across two separate orders worth more than £50 each :)

Posted by mkolandian in Italy, 27 Jun 2012 13:05

offer valid in Italy too (55€), but no free shipping.

^ pantzman my birthday is the 4th May and asked the question if they would send me the TC-14 as a present, but they said no :( so good luck with getting your gift and free postage.

Posted by pantzman in United Kingdom, 28 Jun 2012 12:17

@ ickleb I received a very nice email saying they would refund my money AND send me a mini camel as a separate order for free. Very pleased with that customer service!

Still no sign of LotR or Monster Fighters on LEGO Shop here in Denmark :/ But we do have the new Star Wars sets...
