I'm back...

    I've been on holiday (vacation) for 10 days and away from cheap Internet access (on a cruise ship which charged US$33/hr for it!) so it's great to come back and see the site is still here and that bluemoose and the rest of the team have been keeping you updated and in order in my absence. Thankfully I did log in once and just in time to get my relatives here to buy the Mirror for me each day, so I can send away for Star Wars sets!

    The next few months will be an exciting time here at Brickset. First, I'll be annoucing the winners of the August Brickset minifig competition, probably tomorrow. Then, sometime later in September, I have a new feature to roll out which I think you'll find useful and should add an additional dimension to Brickset's data (hint: take a look at Amazon's Listmania feature). Finally, there's the results of the survey to digest and publish. I'll be coming up with a plan to address the concerns and suggestions that were submitted and already I can promise some changes, as a direct result of the survey, that should make the site even better!

    One more thing: we're aware there are some images of 2010 sets around but our policy is not to link to or use images that are watermarked 'company confidential', so there's no need to email us to tell us where we can find them.

Welcome back Huw! BTW, what's this Amazon "Listmania"? Can't wait for the feature!

Wow, US$33? That's really high! In my experience, some lines like Carnival only charge $8 an hour.

Anyway, new stuff sounds neat. I'm hitting myself on the head for not ordering Space Truck Getaway through this site, as the raffle was still going on when I ordered.

@andy0002 - Please don't; we've deleted posts linking to them about 2 dozen times already.

I never did get around to entering the drawing for the Brickset minifigure. Are there going to be any more drawings like this later on?

I am regretting not entering the figure competition even now!
@Huw: welcome back

Welcome back.

By the way is there a problem with the My Sets facility with multiple entries? I can't increase my set count for 30004 beyond one? When I leave the page and come back its back to one. Anyone else with the same difficulty?

Welcome back, Huw. I don't really see how you can improve the site, it's near perfect now! ;-)
