    Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA, Aug 4th & Aug 5th, 2012, 11:00am - 4:00pm.

LEGO models, displays and winding trains sprawled out over 100,000 square feet.

BrickFair brings together adult fans of LEGO from across the USA (and Canada, and a few other countries) to show off their projects, great and small, and to share their passion for LEGO - the most awesome toy - ever.

LEGO fan festivals like BrickFair are great fun for the whole family! Join in a game or two - maybe win a LEGO set.

Vendors will be offering all things LEGO, including shirts, hats, minifigures, custom-molded weapons, unique models, keychains and... really... everything you never imagined.

Cincy would be cool... That is about the same time drive(maybe just a little longer) than it is to Chantilly for Brickfair... I'm still waiting for a Lego Store to open somewhere in the Pittsburgh region..

Sounds great, apart from i'm in the UK. I always think there are some good LEGO events in the USA.

BrickFair Virginia (not to be confused with the Alabama event of the same name, which is smaller) is a truly awesome experience with more than 1,000 AFOLs coming together to share their amazing MOCs and their enthusiasm for LEGO. I have attended every year that BF VA has taken place. It only gets better each year as the array MOCs becomes larger and even more incredible. Todd Webb, the organizer, spares no effort to pull this long weekend together. I make it an annual vacation event, even when my family doesn't come, but sometimes they do come along for the public exhibition days. If you haven't been, it is worth every bit of effort to get there.

I know that there are some good conventions here in the UK, but none seem to be of quite the same scale as those found in the US which is a shame. I am jealous of those of you who are able to go to this one...

Of course, the week before I head to VA they are having it...

Northern Virginia is a great place for LEGO!!! This is about 5 minutes from my house, along with 2 Lego stores. One at Tyson's Corner and another in Woodbridge at Potomac Mills.

I second kipper147 in saying that a convention in Cincinnati would be awesome. This sounds like a blast though, I would love to go.

I am planning to attend as well. Very exciting!

Can't wait, our first BrickFair.

Hm, I really wanted to go this year, but unfortunately not :( Obviously there are no LEGO conventions here in Israel and to be honest not very many FOL's here at all :P So maybe next year I'll manage to make it ;)

I will be going as an attendee! :-)

Awesome event! Last year was excellent! Bringing the entire family this year!

Loved my time at Brickfair this weekend! Todd and the volunteers do an amazing job making sure we can enjoy the festivities and convention hall once the public hours end. Adult Swim's parts draft rocked! So many great parts in the LoTR $30 set we drafted.
