Ninjago BrickmasterI don't know, you wait ages for a DK LEGO book to be published and then three come along at once. Not only did the Batman Visual Dictionary arrive earlier, but another courier has just delivered this Ninjago Brickmaster Fight the Power of the Snakes, and also the Batman Ultimate Sticker Book (which I won't be boring you with here).

I think I'm right in saying this is the first Brickmaster book to be published this year, the last two being City and Ninjago (skeletons) this time last year.

It's the same size and follows the same format as the others. The thick inside cover contains the bricks and the book contains building instructions for four models. I have to say that none of them look particularly outstanding, but I suspect young Ninjago fans will love them. The design of the cover has been improved from earlier books and is easier to open, close and keep the parts in.

The minifigs are Cole and Lasha.

Here are pictures of the parts; it looks to be a reasonable selection.

This looks coolish, and I would get it, but I already have both the figures, and needn't bother buying it. I have most of the other brickmasters though.

Picked up the following DK books at BJs club:

Ninjago Brickmaster (Green/Snake) for $19.99
Ninjago Brickmaster (Red/Skeleton) for $19.99
The LEGO Book (Expanded and Fully Revised) for $15.99

It looks okay I suppose. The models look pretty basic but there are some nice rare pieces. I'd say that if you want the set for the figs, you're better off with lasha's bite cycle.

I really like the look of this one. I have both figures already (and I picked up, and really liked, the last Ninjago Brickmaster book), but some of the models are cool.

I particularly like the first one, with the little hidden sword, snake creature and Cole's bike. I'm definitely tempted to add these little sets to my Ninjago collection.
