    NYCC 2012 Lego Exclusive Tin Luke Skywalker's Mini Landspeeder Brickset member murphquake (Bill Murphy) is at NYCC and has photographed the instructions for the NYCC landspeeder tin. It looks as if there are some new and rare parts in this one so it might not be as easy to make as the other two.

    You can download them as a PDF exclusively from Brickset.

    If you're at the event, don't forget to visit the I LUG NY display, which has been put on at the request of LEGO. "We've got 60+ feet of LEGO SW/LOTR/DC & Marvel in Section 1B booth #201. It's actually just downstairs from the main hall and we're really proud of the display, so we'd like the AFOL community to come on by" says Bill.

    He's also posting some cool stuff on flickr, so keep an eye out during the day.

He also rebuilt it with the brick faces showing just because he has too much time on his hands =-) Thanks HUW!

I can't tell you guys how much we'd love to see you all at the fan display from I LUG NY, we estimate a couple thousand hours and at least 7 Lego bricks were used so it came out pretty good, stop by and introduce yourself, there's always a couple of us around

On the far left about center of the column that's a new bit, 4 x 3 x 2/3 wedge/slope piece, looks really nice on the finished model, I'm not sure that any of the other stuff is unavailable, might not be easy to get right now but it's all out there best I can tell.

It's a fun little build and looks great, I hope this becomes a regular thing, even if they are being quite tight about letting people get the set =-(

The dark red part above the minifig is new, and the tan double cheese slopes are not that common.

Shame they didn't make the 99207 bracket in tan to fit in with the rest of the colours. It has a grey line on the central engine at the top because of this part.

What is the part number for that new part? It's hard to read.

It looks like 6098771. Is that correct?

I believe they sell only 250 a day at $40 each and they sell out very quick.

I've just put together an Excel sheet and BrickLink xml for everything except Luke and his gun (couldn't work out what that actually was) and the new 6098771 piece. I'm in the UK and will never get my hands on a tin for under £100 so I'll put one together myself I thought... but obviously going to have to wait for the new 6098771 brick or I'll improvise. If anyone else wants the Excel sheet and/or or the BrickLink xml then pm me.

Bill is absolutely right. I LUG NY would love to meet up with other AFOLs attending NYCC. Come stop by the booth, say hello and chat LEGO. If you are in the NY area attending NYCC and want to learn more about the LUG and how to join please stop by our booth downstairs.

Our goals for this display are to share the hobby with the public and to hopefully meet new builders who join the LUG. Who knows, maybe it will be YOU!

specialk it's not a gun, it's the star wars binoculars http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30304 That new brick can be improvised with a couple of small bits, it wouldn't be a horrible destruction of the model design. a 1x4 plate in any color, a pair each of 1x2 tiles and cheese slopes in dark red should handle it well enough

This new brick will be aviable I think very cheep, just wait patiently. Look closly to this new set http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=60001-1 from city. This car has this new part in front of it :-)
