The first pictures of four of series 1 and 2 of the Friends collectables have been found on the German website, along with most of the Creator sets. It's a bit of a PITA to find them on the site though. I've downloaded 10,000 images and visually sifted through them to find the LEGO ones. I've probably missed some, so more images will probably surface later.

Thanks for the hard work Huw - much appreciated! Much as I hate pearl gold, the 3x3 corner plates look great.

Creator is slightly underwhelming... Small Cottage? I want a Big Cottage.

And I had to laugh at "My First Fire Station" - it's a bleedin' arch, not a station!

Cheers Huw Any idea how much these are going to retail at ? Not bad for spares !

I'm disappointed to see there are no more 'creator expert' sets besides the train.

Still, nice to see a house for possibly only $20. I'm sure those who like City will possibly pick it up as it has its own minifigure with it.

Nice one Huw :-)

What German site?!

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 20 Oct 2012 12:42

The link is in the tank truck article. The products don't seem to be listed on the site yet but if you attempt to download every image in the series in the format shown in other articles, then among the books, playmobil and other assorted rubbish that'll be downloaded there will be some LEGO.

The Friends collectibles are so cute! (An argument could be made for too cute perhaps :-)

31008 Thunder Wings is the only Creator set not to be seen yet for an image, for the info.

That Princess figure is quite odd. The slope print already existed, but the torso is new. I can't say I'm a huge fan of that mix, but I really want that blonde hair, accessories and the horse so I'll have to get it! The Monster Truck set I probably won't get, but it does look very fun.

The Creator house is actually okay - a bit small but nicely detailed. No interest in the others, though.

I can't work out how big those Friends bags will be. Considering how many more parts there are in it, they'll have to be bigger than the CMFs. I won't be getting them anyway, but they seem okay.

I love that turtle! Is that a new part, or exicted earlier?

Feminists and animalists will be up in arms over the portrayal of the pets with cute bowties. :P

My first reaction to the new friends collectibles -- "There's a turtle?!!!!"

I love sea turtles and I most certainly have to get that one. The others are okay, but a turtle and a white clam shell in the same small set, know I'll want a few.

I don't actually mind the Friends Collectable sets they look very nice as a small gift to my niece as a way to get my sister to buy her Legos. The Hedgehog hideaway looks like an easy way to get the Hedgehog that was in the Veterinarian set. I just really want that Hedgehog!!!!

Thank you so much for sifting through all these images! :*
The Creator house is indeed very small, a little too small but I'll never complain about another house, I need more buildings.
Friends collectables are so cute, I just love the turtle, the squirrel and all the houses. I was hoping for a grey bunny and here it is! Lovely. I like it that there are no minidolls, just the animals. I know that they may seem too cutified but... don't tell me you don't love that turtle ;)

These are gonna be great giveaways at my daughters bday party. Thanks for sifting through all the images Huw!

The Creator sets look great, and the Friends collectables look like amazing MOC Fodder... =P

The little turtle is adorable!

Really like that highway creator set and the mech one. I might have to add them to the 'save til my kids are old enough pile'

I love the turtle and squirrel sets! There's definitely a place in my Lego city for them.

Posted by Isabella and Lego Liker in United States, 20 Oct 2012 20:44

I'm getting the Mech for the truck. Don't really care about the main robot build.

Posted by alanyap in Malaysia, 20 Oct 2012 21:19

Yummy yummy Creators! Most of 'em looks pretty good except for the Red helicopter... its just a rehash of the copter we had few years back with the "lame" alternate modes. Will skip that.

Finally its good to see LEGO is taking a jab at Kreo seriously with the mech. with TWO alternate modes... and solid looking ones that is. I guess my days are numbered :P

Huw, have you thought of posting a link to all 10,000 pics on Brickset? I'm sure there are a lot of us with too much time on our hands that would be willing to look through piles of junk for a chance of seeing a new 2013 set.

Having a Daughter who has more Pets than Lego sets these collectibles may actually be a way to slow down the number of animals in the house....

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 21 Oct 2012 04:26

^^ I don't propose to publish a link for everyone to try but I've sent you a PM and will send it to anyone else that wants to try.

I don't see why LEGO marks the prelim CMF pics as confidential. I could get the exact same result by putting a picture of a current box through a color filter.

Posted by mo123567 in United States, 22 Oct 2012 14:28

I guess they wanted the package color to be a secret as well.
