If you're a polybag collector you've probably had trouble finding this one, unless you're in Benelux or Iran. So you'll probably be pleased to hear that it's now available packaged with a selection of three DK books. It's available in WalMart in the USA, and also from Amazon.co.uk (for about £11). The only picture of it I can find is at Penguin Books Australia.

    The three books are:

    • The LEGO Book: (Excerpted Edition)
    • LEGO City: Emergency Services Ultimate Sticker Book
    • LEGO City: Busy Workers Ultimate Sticker Book

(Thanks to bobj21 for the news)

The book collection including polybag is available at Tesco stores for GBP 5.86. Has been posted on the forums (not by me) at least two weeks ago. In the Tesco thread, I believe.

[Edit: by Rocketbilly on 15 October in the Tesco thread]

[2nd Edit: All three books are excerpted editions. The sticker books contain ca. 250 stickers as opposed to 500 or 1000 in the "big" books.]

^ Interesting, thanks, I missed that. I find it hard to keep up with all the shopping threads.

^ Sorry, wasn't meant to be critical. Just wanted to point out that it's available and cheaper at Tesco. :)

No, thank you. I often wished I had someone who did have time to read it all who could alert me to the interesting stuff.

TTYL : I'm just off to my Tesco Extra for some, er, shopping :-)

I've seen a bunch of the polybags @ marktkauf here in germany.

Just bought 2 copies, using doubled-up club card vouchers to get them half price, so thanks for letting me know: that's another gap in my polybag collection filled!

This polybag also showed up at Müller drugstores in Germany a couple of weeks ago.

This polybag was given out to participants of New Zealand's National LEGO Building Competition in late July. I got one back then. It is okay......(for a polybag). ;)

Heh, I can get dozens of them. Rather have a dozen Thor or Hawkeye figures. But hey, I live in Holland and here we get the sets we don't want but the rest of the world seems to want them. I'm always in for a trade.

Seriously, I would buy one of those books just to get hold of this set. I'm a bit of a sucker for Lego helicopters.

@Zordboy I saw them at Big W for $16

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Huw. I was able to pick up two at Tesco Extra today for £5.86 each.

I picked one up today at Walmart in Oregon for $11.97

Thanks Aussie Tahu, I'll head out today looking for them.

Got mine at WM as well. Wasn't obvious from the above description but all 3 books are in one package. There was an equivalent Star Wars one as well that had a character guide and 2 sticker books and the Tie Fighter mini model. Looked to be the same one as the poly available at Target.

Wher in WalMart are these? In the LEGO section or by the kid's books?

Posted by augen in United Kingdom, 11 Nov 2012 13:22

I just picked on up from the book section in Walmart.

I paid $11.97 plus tax too, but couldn't risk waiting until I'm back in the UK to pay less at Tesco.
