Gorilla suit, dino suit, chicken suit... I think I'm seeing a pattern here.
What MOCs does this suggest - the fancy dress brigade finishing the London marathon?
A raid on London zoo by members of the Animal Liberation Front?

:-) 'Out in January!' according to the magazine.

Great funny mascot fig, now I'm waiting for Caesar and Fortune-Teller! This series should be a great one, even if other figs will have mostly re-used parts.
But why 14 to go? We've seen Dr. Splitz, this one and the real Alien Trooper fig on the video. That wasn't an 'illegal' leak since there were no confidential photos but the real fig itself.
So, only 13 figs are still unknown. But I defenetly like this new way of getting the pics gradually)

Love it. I actually LOL'd when I saw the picture. Guess this points to the 'leaked' list being pretty spot on. Series 9 is shaping up to be a great one!

Haha - someone's been playing Wii Fit +

Still waiting for large comical udders - cow suit man.

Posted by King J in United States, 14 Nov 2012 07:17

^ Yes!!! I've been waiting for a cow suit man since the very beginning! Large comical udders, a big 'ol cow head, spotted torso and legs, possibly even a EAT MOR CHIKIN' sign. Man, that would be great :).

What version of the lego club magazine is this? Is it JR or friends? As my 'normal' version arrived and has the jekyll and Hyde character instead.

Posted by Bilko in United Kingdom, 14 Nov 2012 07:34

^ It's the Friends Special Edition that came for my daughter

As I said on EB, this continues to show the usefulness of the costumed character figs. Perfect for promoting your LEGO fast food restaurants, scaring trick-or-treaters, or (with a bearded face) acting in your Brickfilm of Toy Story 2!

I love it. Most of my favorites from previous series were the guys in suits (the Bunny is the best). I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this one. ;)

Posted by princedraven in United Kingdom, 14 Nov 2012 08:44

What do you make of the 'wings'??
Think this will be a custom arm piece?

Posted by shinpi in France, 14 Nov 2012 09:21

From what we can see on the image, I guess the arms will be replaced with wings, just as the bat from series 8 had specials arms.

For the next costumed figure, I would like: Panda Suit Guy! :)

Posted by meclo in Canada, 14 Nov 2012 10:31

Now I need to make a Peter Griffin minifig to fight this guy..!

Can't wait to see the rest of the series!

^^Panda suit guy!! :-)

I love all of the costumed minifigs!

Posted by Graysmith in Sweden, 14 Nov 2012 10:47

Very (pleasantly) surprised that they made actual bird wing arms instead of just using the regular arms. I wonder if they'll still have some kind of grip though.. It'd be a little bit of a shame if the guy can't hold onto anything (like a tommygun, for all those Chicken Suit Guy Goes On A Rampage MOCs).

Still, greatly impressed by the series so far.

That's weird, my uk club magazine shows dr splitz

Posted by jango e1-g3 in United States, 14 Nov 2012 11:27

I was right! There will be a chicken suit guy. Oh the MOCing possibilities......

Posted by LegoAthos in United States, 14 Nov 2012 11:46

Don't forget the alien trooper picture that showed up a bit ago. That would make three down, thirteen to go...

Posted by Obiwonkydonky in United Kingdom, 14 Nov 2012 11:52

I got the uk magazine today but it had DR Splitz in for me

Posted by TheJake in United States, 14 Nov 2012 12:13

@Aanchir I agree with you about the Toy Story 2 thing. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw the fig.

Posted by Ypres in Canada, 14 Nov 2012 12:32

I've been doing so well recently by not buying any CMF, even going as far as to not purchase even one or two. As much as I love lego and buying the unique accessories, CMF have no re-sale value and aren't made with Lego's good plastic. I just can't justify buying CMFs anymore.

But a chicken suit guy... that's just classic! It's not like buying one minifigure will hurt by wallet, I'll just have to try not buying three or four. I'll get someone to start smacking my hand if I start reaching for more bags.

Panda suit FTW!!!!

I like the suits that show the face.

Posted by absolutelylez in France, 14 Nov 2012 15:16

I have my gorilla suit guy eating his banana on a tropical island scaring away the pirates, while godzilla guy and bunny guy fight the evil pharaoh's quest zombie mummies on top of one of the masts of my QAR :)

Posted by CapnRex101 in United Kingdom, 14 Nov 2012 16:39

I absolutely love this, great head wear and those arms are just sublime, going above and beyond the call of duty.

Posted by BlackFalconBirdman in United States, 14 Nov 2012 18:01

I'm with Meclo here and I instantly saw a Peter Griffin / Chicken guy fight MOC in my head...

Posted by legomaniac in United States, 14 Nov 2012 18:56

Totally getting a chicken suit guy. I'll put the head dress on Darth Vader :P

Posted by Starwarsgeek500 in United States, 14 Nov 2012 20:38

Lovin' the alien trooper...

Posted by Kalhiki in United States, 14 Nov 2012 21:13

Chicken Suit Guy? Want so bad...
Nothing beats a guy in a Chicken Suit.

How about Lego bringing out a priest/vicar mini-figure?
