Christmas SetI hope you all took advantage of the VIP offers yesterday either online or at a brand store.

If you made it to a brand store you've probably already got hold of this year's Christmas giveaway set, 3300014, but if, like me, you're waiting for it to arrive in the post you might be interested to read Rich from Brick Fanatics review which you can read either here or over at Brick Fanatics, and also see it in all its glory on flickr.

I'm looking forward to it arriving, and displaying it with my Christmas set collection which, like yours I suspect, is getting rather large now!

My winter village has outgrown the table it was originally displayed on with the new cottage, I will have to find another solution! Anyway, this set looks great and the sleigh in particular will make a great addition I have no doubt. Many thanks to Rich for the review as well which is suitably detailed.

I'll definitely be getting this set, but I may end up buying it on the secondary market. I purchased the winter village set in October and this year's Christmas polybags online earlier this month, which is why I hesitate to spend another $99 to get this set. Of course, getting it on Bricklink or elsewhere may be expensive as well, for such a great set that there may not be to many extras of. Either way, I'm going to pick it up somewhere.

Looking forward to it when it arrives in 4 weeks.

@Tekka ... 4 weeks? I usually get LEGO orders to Alberta in 7-10 business days or earlier.

Lovely pictures. Beautiful addition to the village.

Are there any guides or tutorials on photographing LEGO? I'd love to take some nice photos of my sets and such. Especially the white box people make. Thanks!

I want that set, but LEGO doesn't think I'm worthy of receiving it. And paying €25 on Bricklink is ridiculous.

I'm now considering visiting a "nearby" LEGO store to buy the new Winter Village set and getting this one for free. But that too is a costly affair...
