Just a quick post to say that this LoC set has been seen at WHS Holborn Circus, London, which I think is the first sighting in the wild (unless you know otherwise). There were certainly none to be found in Hamburg today.

I could be behind the curve with this story as I'm still away from home, so thanks for clarifying.

Hmmm.... The sets are ok but I don't think I will buy any, because there are to many other good themes (Star Wars, Galaxy Squad, Lone Ranger etc. )

I saw a number of the Speedorz LOC sets in Smyths in Telford yesterday.

not impressed at that set, but will reserve judgement on the broader theme.

It looks like a crocodile.

I think a lot of the sets are designed to look like the animals they belong to. In this case, a crocodile.

There's a Chima promo video showing in Toys R Us stores in UK as well, and in true TRU style they've got it showing with the Ninjago sets (and no Chima for sale!!)

This set reminds me of Road Ripper from Mattel's Masters of the Universe toyline:

I think LoC is going to trounce Galaxy Squad.

I saw the whole range today, along with the new friends sets. But they won't be on sale till after xmas where I am.

I'm in London on Friday, so will keep an eye out for this.

Any idea if the two brand stores at the Westfield centres have any 2013 sets?

Hmm, wonder how much it costs. Both the RRP and the uber-inflated WHSmith price. However, seeing as the Holborn branch is a 10 min walk from my office, I'll take a look at lunch time, provided the much forecasted heavy rain hasn't arrived by then.

Posted by richselby in United Kingdom, 19 Dec 2012 10:23

Nope, it was raining

NINJAGO COMING BACK! Ninja vs Nindroids I hope!

Just in our local toy shop in Epsom and they had loads of Chima sets on the shelves, Didn't think to check prices but they are usually standard rrp. Didn't have a good look as I was too busy going through their boxes of series 9

The complete range is in ASDA in Greenwich/Charlton. Just bought 70003 there.

Posted by kurttkrueger in United Kingdom, 20 Dec 2012 17:41

Just to confirm the above, I bought 70001 in WH Smiths in Westfield Stratford today. Priced at £12.99. I can imagine this should be in the 9.99 - 11.99 range, so not too bad. It's a great little set, with nice figures, good play features, and a nice selection if parts.

My 5 year old son and I love it!
