271 instructions and 123 set inventories have been added to the LEGO Customer Services pages today, including ten hitherto unknown polybags (4 LoC, 2 Creator, 2 Friends, 2 City) which you can see in the 'new in the database' area above.

As always, our latest instructions and latest inventories pages exclusively list what's been added, before any other LEGO fan site. I'm sure it won't be long before they are all reporting them, though. Remember where you read it first ;-)

An interesting addition to the instructions is 10250, Year of the Snake. Not much is known about it, although it's likely that it will only be available in China. It's thought that it's the same as last year's Creator T-Rex (6914) but with additional pieces for the door.

Also, inventories for this year's seasonal polybags have been added (sets 40051-40059) but not their instructions, so we still don't know what they look like.

Am I the only one seeing 5 new LoC polybags?

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 01 Jan 2013 12:27

The 5th one was known about prior to today, it's listed at TRU.com, but without a picture.

I'm pretty intrigued to see what all of these seasonal sets look like. It's pretty interesting to note that all of the seasonal sets (except 40053 which I can presume is an Easter Bunny) contain one or two minifigures. LEGO never has never done that before with all of the seasonal sets. Usually they only have minifigures included in the Christmas seasonal sets and poly bags.

Noticed the back of the Tie Bomber from the planets set has 2 of the new R5 droid head pieces in grey- nice to see that part being used.

Just built the Planet sets in LDD, and the B-Wing is a really impressive build for a mini-scale model. I wasn't planning on getting it, but now that I've seen how it's constructed I definitely want it. The TIE Bomber is a really cool build as well, and the Snowspeeder is pretty cute too. The only real dud looks to be Republic Assault Ship, which is just an all-grey bore and a poor man's Star Destroyer.

I would not be suprised if 1-2 of these was for a polybag for Targets/Wal-Marts for Valentine's Day or Easter.

There are 12 1x1 eye plates http://www.brickset.com/parts/?design=13360 in #10662.
That should make it a bit easier to replicate the 2011 Duck Staff Christmas gift.
