They are on red tag discount in my Lego store too. What gives? I hope they aren't being phased out!

These were on massive discount at my local Wal-Mart here in Massachusetts. I picked up 6 of these off the shelf for 5 dollars each! They were tagged full price, but I always scan them and print out the sticker and apply it to get the discount.

The manager here just randomly seems to put things out on massive discount every day. Last week I managed to score last years City "Heavy Lift Police Helicopter" for 12 dollars ( picked up 3!! )

10$ is really a good price indeed.
In Hungarian Tesco stores the sale price was about 10 Euro last week, but for this price I rather bought a 3658 Police Helicopter 2011.

I just made a trip to the one at Eglinton Square Mall. Sadly, there was no sale sign and when I asked one of the employees, she said she wasn't aware of this discount. This is supposed to be an express Toysrus as well.... weird....

Stopped at a couple places today, in my local Toys R Us, to see that the prices were all still the same, no sales, but they did have the new 2013 sets from City to Chima! Then went to my local TRU Express they did in fact have the sales on, but there were no sets left, only a couple here and there but yes confirmed it was $10.48, I asked the lady at the counter and she said cause the holidays are over the express stores close so they have huge sales on all the toys, so get to your nearest store before they are all gone! Another store for Canadians to check out is Zellers, huge blowout sales there when I went but not alot left on shelves so get them while you can, for any Canadian close to the border your best bet is to go to K Mart, Target or Toys R Us, prices are way cheaper there, that's where I get mine, if not then TRU is your best bet, btw this is all in Ontario where I live.

I live in Tucson, AZ and there are 2 TRU stores. I went to one location to find only 1 Ambulance set and it was not on clearance.
