    If you've been keeping an eye on our new instructions page you may have noticed that LEGO Customer Services published instructions for another batch of forthcoming polybags and Monthly Model Mini-Builds earlier this week.

    I'm sorry to say that I've only just noticed them so I've extracted the images and added them to the database. They include 40054 Summer Scene, left, and five MMMB sets from later in the year.

    Next job: get the instruction scanner to post a news article when it finds new ones :-)

I really hope LEGO has plans for those Seasonal Polybags to hit Retailer shelves and not just be an online only thing, I'm not too sure if I'd be allowed to get them through their site, and by allowed I mean have the opportunity to snag one for myself before they get swooped up by fellow collectors and scalpers alike.

Since I have no LEGO stores in my city I don't have much interest for the MMMB stuff though.

Huw, you seem to be good at figuring how to automate things from the Lego website. Since you routinely scan Lego.com for new instructions and inventories (now) would it be possible to set up a preference where an email can be sent to members (if they want) when new sets inventories/instructions are added to Brickset. To take it a step further than just say yes/no send me email about new inventories/instructions let the user check off which themes they want to be notified about instead of all themes.

I believe that would be a useful feature.

^^ I'll get it to add a news article when it finds one, and then you can subscribe to receive a daily digest of articles by email in the normal way.

I've written the code to do it already but the LEGO CS site seems to be unavailable at the moment, at least for me it is, so I can't test.
