    I do like a good LEGO movie, particularly when they are packed with exclusive minifigs.

    Earlier in the week it was announced that Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out, which war originally shown on Cartoon Network in the USA last year, will be available on DVD (and hopefully Blu-Ray too) in March on both sides of the Atlantic. It will be packed with a limited edition exclusive Darth Vader minifig, who's sporting a celebration medal.

    Yesterday, news of a second one emerged: Batman the Movie: DC Super Heroes Unite. It will be available mid-May and comes with a very cool looking Clark Kent/Superman minifig.

    They can be pre-ordered from Amazon, although they are not both listed at the moment:

I love the Superman costume being revealed under Clark Kent's suit, I've seen the idea done with customized Lego figures on eBay, it's great to have an official version now! :)

The Superman/Clark Kent minifig looks awesome.

I'm not one for Lego movies usually. But will definitely pick this one up.

Any news on whether its going to be available on Amazon.co.uk?

Darth Vader in the Empire Strike's out story win's a medal.

In the first DVD there was a "young Han Solo" (IAN with H sideways), and that was the exclusive mini fig.

I have the movie Padawan Menace, but with the DVD tghe special minifig unfortunately was not included. I hope it will be different with Empires strikes out.

@GravitySlave; are you implying that Clark kent will feature (Prominently, at least as superman) in the batman movie despite it being "Batman"? well, it seemed likely.

Shame the Star Wars one isn't coming out in Blu-ray format. I'd definitely be interested if it did, but oh well.

As I recall, Darth Vader got a medal in the Empire Strikes Out.

But, Clark Kent is the exclusive figure in a movie entitled Batman? That seems goofy...

^^^While I get the point about the Clark Kent minifigure, he/Superman does at least guest-star in this movie - and really, do we need any more Batman iterations right now? 2013 has already got 2 or 3 coming out, on top of the half-dozen from last year (which are brilliant, I admit) so it's nice to see someone else showing up. I like the quirkyness of the "mid-change" Superman, although it has limited utility in play (Clark isn't going to walk around baring his "S", Superman isn't going to fly around in Clark's suit & glasses). I hope this means we'll get a "normal" Clark Kent figure in one of the Man of Steel sets this year, which will give a three-stage arrangement!

The Clark Kent Minifigure is looking fantastic, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it, not so interested in the Star Wars one but I am a Star Wars Minifigure completest so I will probably pick it up in the end.

In Australia the 'young Han' figure only came with the Blu-ray version of Padawan Menace not the standard DVD. All i want is Darth with a medal to go with my Han and Luke ones :)

You know what really IRRITATES me?

You will praise DVD's/Blu-ray's with minifigures on this website, but mention anything about video games with exclusive minifigures and I get comments like:

"This is a Lego brick community"

"Our focus is on bricks and sets and that's it"

And it's not like you can say the games don't count because the set isn't available with it unless you go somewhere special to get it or preorder. Because you also praise the Sun newspaper that comes with free minifigures.

What's your deal with video games? Just because you don't enjoy the video games compared to movies, doesn't mean you shouldn't mention or insult a few members of the community that DO enjoy them.

I believe the minifig was exclusive to the Blu Ray version buddy

I think the Clark Kent/Superman minifigure is really awesome because it transcends the movie it will be packaged with and really speaks to DC fans in general. Darth Vader with his medal and the previously released young Han only exist in their respective movies and are therefore not quite as universally appealing.

Hmmm, Nope, surprisingly, there will NOT be a Clark Kent minifig with any of this Summer's "Man of Steel" sets, so this may be the only way to get one for the forseeable future... And of course, you can easily swap his torso with a normal dark blue suit torso if you want to make him a normal everyday Clark in disguise. So it's awesome that they created this unique torso print! And yes, it's super cool they did Clark instead of another Batman!

Apparently, the only Earthlings in this Summer's "Man of Steel" sets are Lois Lane (yay!) and Colonel Hardy (cool!)

The rest are all Kryptonians!

I'm glad they're releasing The Empire Strikes Out; I have the first one and thought it was humorous. I also love that the movies come with minifigures, and hope I can acquire a copy.
