Chima buildable fg=igs[Sorry, it seems that this is old news, but I'll leave it here as it was news to me]

This picture, which as far as I can tell is not watermarked 'Confidential', shows two of the buildable Chima figs.

As you can see from the watermark it does have, it came from bionifigs.com, which is a very unpleasant to look at French forum. Unfortunately I can't find the original post there to link to. Unlike other LEGO news sites we are very careful to properly attribute the source of every article we publish, so I apologise for not being able to do so here. Thanks, though, to Geddes for posting it in the forrm.

You can now see what I was trying to describe: they are similar to last year's Super Heroes figs, but with new heads, hands (in the case of the lion) and weapons. Personally I think they, like most buildable figures, look terrible but no doubt you'll tell us your views in the comments.

I am in agreement with Huw, not being a big fan of buildable figures, these do not appeal to me at all, but I am sure they will be popular with Chima's main target audience.

Haven't we had this picture for weeks?

First I'd seen it...

We've had this picture or a while, I contacted Huw last year about it, http://www.hothbricks.com/2012/12/legends-of-chima-lego-en-fait-il-deja-trop/ :-)

The hands aren't new. They're from HF.
I'm very excited about these, myself; I like buildable action figures, and I love the way they connect with the minifig-scale ones (as you can see from the art, the show, and the playing cards, the buildable figures appear as big blue glowing things when the characters power up).

I am not a huge Constarction fan but I might grab 1 or 2 just to go along with my Chima sets.
I think they look pretty bad but like I said il get 1 or 2 just for my Chima collection.

they're better than I thought they'd be, but you won't see me buying one of those, that's for sure.

You can't find this picture anymore on Bionifigs.com because LEGO ask them to retire it event if there were no watermark.

I don't like action figure Lego sets and they're too juniorized in build and appearance. I've been trying to sell my old bionicles for years but am still stuck with the majority of them to this day.

A HF moccer will buy craggers by the boatload and bricklink those trans blue armor in laval

Some of the hero factory sets do actually look really cool to me but these, sadly not. I don't even think they have any resemblance at all to laval and cragger. they just look like a lion man and a lizard person.

Huw, please tell me this is an early April fools joke!

I'm not interested in LoC, but I like these more than the minifigures.
