LEGO World Copenhagen, 14-17th February

LEGO World in Copenhagen is one of the largest events on the LEGO fan calendar. This year it's running from the 14th to the 17th of February.

I've never been to it, in fact I've never been to an event outside the UK, but this year I'll be there; I've just booked my flights and I'm all sorted.

I don't know a lot about it, but from what I've read, the AFOL-contributed displays are just one aspect of the event, so I'm very much looking forward to visiting and seeing it all for myself.

I'll be arriving late on Wednesday and will be leaving on Saturday morning. It would be great to meet up with other Bricksetters whilst I'm there, so if you're going too, get in touch so we can arrange something.

Sounds intriguing, I am sure you are already planning to do so, but try and take plenty of photos if you can.

While I very much enjoy STEAM and the other Lego conventions here in the UK, I do sometimes feel that they can be a little monotonous as you tend to see the same models there year after year in part. However I am not old enough to be involved fully in all of the Brickish events, so perhaps it comes with age!

Here are some of my photos from last year: http://www.flickr.com/photos/14446149@N07/sets/72157629361232641/
It is a random mix - I didn't know what to expect, so photographed everything, and got a lot of poor quality images.

But I will certainly attend this year - I'm really looking forward to the fan-zone as well as the upcoming summer-models from LEGO. There will be lots of pics of new sets after the 17th :)

I'll be there from Wednesday evening, so both Thursday and Friday during the day at the show, and attending the dinner hosted by the Byggepladen on Friday evening.
