LEGO World in Copenhagen begins on Thursday this week. I will be there Thursday and Friday. If you will be there as well, leave a comment and we can try and meet up.
Could be there any new sets we haven't seen?
There *might* be an unveiling of an exclusive. Kevin Hink suggested in his blog, http://ceeteamblog.com/2013/01/31/week-5-in-the-land-of-stickers/, that the next one would be unveiled outside of the USA, so putting 2 and 2 together...
I do hope there will be an exclusive unveiled!! Also, thanks for linking to that blog. It's got some really fascinating stuff on there, like Kevin saying he might look into why the box distribution for series 9 CMFs was changed. I'd be interested to find out the rationale for that. Definitely a site I'll be regularly checking out.
I'll be there with my family on thursday. The Fan Zone will probably be where I'll spend most of my time, talking to other members of the danish LUG Byggepladen.
I'll be there Thursday over an extended lunch break 12-15 h and possibly on Friday early afternoon. Will also come to the Fan Zone. Never met with the Danish Byggepladen as I'm an alien in DK :-) but hope to be acceptable!
i'll be there too...thursday when doors open , if not im been called out for work....and for sure saturday & sunday most of the day..I do belive there could be a new set or more in the Fan Zone . it's been seen before...To Dafish...just sign up at Byggepladen ( Buildingplate ) http://www.byggepladen.dk/medlemskab.aspit's pretty cheap too...but you have to be over 16 years old to be a member...Enjoy
I'm there the whole day friday. Hope to see you all
^Lyd & Lost Records- acctually you only need to be 13 years old.
SandmanDK - yes it rigth. 13 it is.....pressed wrong button...sorry...
I'll be there - exhibiting the Olympic park (http://www.flickr.com/photos/warrenelsmore/sets/72157630788142816/) in the FanZone. If you are going to be there - come say hello (just not in Danish ;-) )
I have arrived to a cold and snowy Copenhagen and a very beautiful night scape of Bella Center. I cannot wait until LEGOWorld opens on Thursday.
Do you think the unveiling might be for the new mini modulars? That is the only "set" for 2013 that I am looking forward to that I have heard nothing about since the Fairs started. There are probably others, but that is the only one I can think of right now...
I'm at the Bella Sky now, in a corner room with views over the city. There's a light covering of snow but nothing dramatic.
Nice looking hotel Huw, I assume one of these is on your 'to build' list when you get home?https://secure.flickr.com/photos/coebabelghoti/8158820280/
I'm hoping we'll see the heavily rumored Tower of Orthanc set revealed!
Hi Huw,Nice meeting you (I'm the guy with the long beard and the sad boy on my arm). Sorry I couldn't stay and chat, but my kid wanted to go play with the Duplo trains :-)
And you! It's a great event isn't it!
Just came back to office from the Bella Centre...ran into Huw, could tell it was him as he was the only Brickset t-shirt around :-) (nice to meet you, Huw!)...uploaded some videos, here's the first one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S--NVYwzaPs&feature=youtu.be there will be more. Back to work now :-)...and here are all of them https://www.youtube.com/user/dafished?feature=mhee
I'll be there whole friday (with my son and his friend), use to start 10 sharp by the molding machine
If and when they release the exclusive please please please someone, anyone tell us! I just woke up here in the U.S. anxiously anticipating news!
