    From tomorrow you can get the chrome stormtrooper free in Canadian TRUs when you spend $30 on Star Wars LEGO. They are bound to go quickly -- they did in the USA -- so get down there first thing in the morning to claim yours!

i thought you get one if you buy 10.00 worth of SW legos that you get the storm. maybe it was someother offer.

You have to spend $30.00 on SW lego to get the chrome trooper. Also, there is 20% off all Power Miners, Atlantis, and Technic sets.

Huw, I've been looking everywhere for these Chrome Stormtroopers... how do I get them?

Do I go to Toys R Us and buy $30 worth of Lego Star Wars, or can I get them online at toysrus.com? Also, can I get them at Lego.com, or is this a TRU exclusive?

I already have one from Lego Shop@Home, but I am glad for the people in the country to my north that Canada is offering them for such a good deal!

@Huw I was just looking at some set pages, and I noticed that the links to Bricklink and Amazon are gone, although the eBay bids tab is very helpful. If possible, I would really appreciate it you put back the Bricklink and Amazon links, especially for Bricklink. It saves time and is very useful for me. :-)

@Zacherano, the Amazon links, in the form of their search widget, are in the menu.

Unfortunately Bricklink doesn't offer a product feed or renumerate referrers for their traffic, that's why it's not there.

Missed out on the deal in the US; stores were out by the time I went shopping :( But I was thinking about the magnet. However, the reviews mention cheap paint job look with white splotches visible. How bad is it really? I really don't want to spend that much money for a single figure if its cheap looking.

^Brickmatic: My magnet has nothing wring with it except for white behind the arm and the inside of one of the feet white both of which are the same wtih the polybag. The other thing is that the inside of the hips are white which are chromed in the bag. If you do not mind $10 its worth it compared to $100 for C-3po.

I got three of them shortly after the store opened in Calgary. I bought about $190 of Lego and said I wanted to do it in three transaction. They did it in one and gave me three!

I went in today intending to pick up 7676, but they didnt have any instock. so I still had to get something to get a chrometrooper. So I ended up getting 8091 Swamp speeder.... I liked it more than I thought I would. But it is still overpriced. At least now, I have another Jedi for my Order, and a bagged Chrometrooper.

Since everyone else is at school while im still on my spring break (awesome school), i went to my local TRU and i got one of the corporate alliance tank droid. when the lady didnt give me a chrometrooper i asked for one. she told me to help myself so i got like eight of them!!!!!

Guys, forgive me for saying this, but if you go into TRU to buy a set just to get the minifigure for free are you really saving anything? This is the same minifigure that is in set 852737. Mind you that it is now sold out and most likely will become very expensive on the ebay market. If you are near a Lego Brand Retail store go in or call to see if they have any of them still.

This offer is also available at Toys R Us in the UK, I was in there yesterday and saw the adverts. You are supposed to spend £29.99 on Star Wars Lego to get a chrome trooper free, but I bought the Toy Story Woody's Roundup set and they still let me have one of the troopers! Great.

I hope they do that kind of offer here in the Philippines, Lego is overpriced here. and they are not updated with the upcoming sets, the sets only arrived 2 weeks ago.
