Excellant! I've been needing to build an Uruk-Hai army and I was afraid that these would only be available in the UK.

Awesome!

Such a strange chain to get a Lego Polybag. I've never heard of Five-Below, but that is probably becuase they don't existin my state (IA).

Posted by jengafett in United Kingdom, 01 Mar 2013 10:56

I got 20 of them for £10 in the sun offer of the left overs.
The ballista in my opinion is useless and the uruk-hai is amazing.
I still have them along with my helms deep and uruk-hai army!
Anyway priced at $4.99 each is still worth buying them so i would head on down...

Posted by tmgm528 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 11:27

Not the only poly I have gotten there before. 30040, 30010 and 30051-1 have all been purchases for me from Five-below. And they had 8399 and 8400 for 1-2 years after SPIII stopped being carried at other retailers.

Posted by NeilJam in United States, 01 Mar 2013 11:31

I found these at a Five Below last week. They hadn't actually been put out yet, but the case was on a workers cart so I took a couple out. They also had some older Harry Potter polybags like the Mini Hogwarts Express (#40028) and The Lab (#30111), and the small boxes of CMFs by the register.

Posted by wrangler6915 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 11:35

Hmmm...they're at my 5 below (Maryland) for $3.99! Guess I should go clear 'em out

Posted by tmgm528 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 11:43

/\/\ AH yes I did see those as well and picked me up a few CMF because they are around $1.00 cheaper than anywhere else.

Posted by Skydude in United States, 01 Mar 2013 11:44

$5 seems like a bit much for one fig and a rather weak ballista, considering the "uruk-hai army" set comes with 4 orcs, 2 rohan soldiers, the horse, the wall, and the actually good ballista for $30.

Posted by tmgm528 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 11:52

I just checked the bag again and it was $3.99 so I was $1.00 to expensive.

Posted by rnsrobot in Canada, 01 Mar 2013 11:54

I agree with @skydude, this is bad value for an army builder when a set like Uruk-Hai Army is available for a reasonable price.

Posted by Wagnerml2 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 12:17

The Uruk Hai is $3.99, the HP Polys are $4.99

Posted by tmgm528 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 12:21

/\ Yes I realized just a few minutes ago the bag said $3.99

Posted by Lordmoral in Puerto Rico, 01 Mar 2013 13:11

Puerto Rico Kmarts.

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 01 Mar 2013 14:17

I'd just buy a few Uruk-Hai Army sets, they have been $25 a few times. $12 for just three minifigures, or $25-30 for three mini figures and then three more of a different type and then a wall.

I don't know if I'd call this 'widely available' when less than half of the 50 states have one of these stores.

Posted by jango e1-g3 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 15:28

Is there any in Toys rus or bam in the us? I would love snag a ton of these

Posted by graallll in United States, 01 Mar 2013 16:12

YEEEAAAAAUUUUHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by The_Creator in United States, 01 Mar 2013 18:31

I never even heard of this store... Oh well, hopefully one of my local TRUs, Targets, Walmarts, or someplace will get 'em.

Posted by Nelly7072 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 18:42

Adding more support for the Uruk-Hai Army set... At $30 that is $5 per minifigure. Plus you get a horse, a wall (or useful bricks), a real ballista, and REAL WEAPONS! How overused is that Halberd that comes with 30211 anyway? Look at the going rate for the Uruk-Hai swords and shields on Bricklink, for example, and you can really see the value of 9471.

Posted by natro220 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 19:06

I agree - Urak-Hai Army is a much better army builder...I will likely pass on this.

Posted by Monkeyflyers in United States, 01 Mar 2013 19:35

Available widely in the US my Butt, the nearest one to my house is 666 miles away. I'm not even joking that's what the store locator said and I live in a major US city.

Posted by lloki1 in United States, 01 Mar 2013 20:27

Thanks, I read this then two hours later at five ballow two new polybags added to my collection. =)

Posted by bamaker in United States, 01 Mar 2013 22:39

Only a 1,020 mile round trip to my local store...

Posted by wunztwice in United States, 02 Mar 2013 01:27

Never heard of a Five Below...

Posted by devilhead in United States, 02 Mar 2013 13:05

I'm with those who have never heard of this store... and I've been around a bit. Store locator says nearest one is 1,656.65 miles from me. I guess 'widely available' is a relative term.

Posted by gunslinger69 in United States, 02 Mar 2013 13:39

nearest store to me is 1677 miles away.

Posted by cody6268 in United States, 02 Mar 2013 15:44

According to Wikipedia, they've only been around a little over ten years. Most stores that are widespread have been around 25+ years. No wonder they're not too widespread

Posted by SuperDKong in United States, 02 Mar 2013 16:12

I'd never heard of them. At least the nearest one is only 37 miles away, but I'd rather not go 37 miles to grab one minifig. So here's hoping they come to my local Target.

Posted by lloki1 in United States, 02 Mar 2013 16:16

I hvae these stores all over my area three that i know of within ten miles. I have found a total of 5 polybag here and bought many collectable minifig's from this store.

Posted by Tyler James in United States, 02 Mar 2013 16:52

They have at least 50+ of these for 3.99 each in the Lancaster PA store I visited...also a large number of series 9 minifigs, but I discovered on the way home that at least all of those that I bought had been very carefully opened and resealed with invisible tape, which I found vaguely amusing (would have been less so if I didn't like the ones I ended up with)

Posted by Missing Brick in United Kingdom, 02 Mar 2013 21:59

Does this mean we might at last get the Mirkwood Elf polybag in the UK so the Uruks have someone to fight?

Posted by Gil Galad High King in United States, 04 Mar 2013 13:28

I have a Five Below near Me(Medina, OH,) but have never been there. This is a good reason to go!

Posted by FenrisAkashi in United States, 04 Mar 2013 14:24

Pretty much only on the East Coast, this is a far cry from a national level retailer.

From the other sets people have reported seeing at FiveBelow it seems likely though bought these at a clearing house auction and are just pushing them out as it has been reported they do not normally carry Lego.

Posted by tjcjmay in United States, 04 Mar 2013 17:28

I want at least 3.

Posted by tz1024 in United States, 04 Mar 2013 23:05

I just picked one up however I had a missing hook and a damaged scale. Just put in a replacement order with LEGO. Anyone else have a bad bag? I was wondering if Five Below may bought a bad run on the cheap from LEGO. Note: This is the first time I've ever had a missing or damaged part.

Posted by The Green Brick Giant in United States, 05 Mar 2013 01:08

I'd like to know where this "they don't normally care LEGO" idea is from, they have been carrying the CMF at the one I go to from August of 2011 to February of 2012 at least. And in September of 2011 they had several of the $5 sets that came in little boxes.

The minifigures at 5 Below have always been ripped apart by the costumers, so I don't buy them from there.
