Cool! That's a good deal... Just if they released the new Racers or Kingdoms sets... I think I got one of the first 5 comments [If I did, YAY!].

Nice deal, but what about one here in the US? Well, very well congrats people of the UK!

wow thats a good offer but they had to put the deal on just after i had brought some lego :(

That's a really good deal, things like that never normally happen. I just wished I had £50 though...

Quite right too, although this should apply to all purchases, all the time. LEGO are now competing with the likes of Amazon and Play.com for online sales, and these retailers frequently offer discounts as well as free shipping.

Spot on DrDaveWatford, having to pay such high prices for shipping from LEGO really irks me!

Posted by Pulpdiction in United Kingdom, 08 Apr 2010 17:25

Typical, only placed an order yesterday.

About time they dropped standard shipping charges for orders over £25.

Posted by meccanotwitch in United Kingdom, 09 Apr 2010 03:40

Its about time they dropped there prices, full stop.

Annoyingly I placed a huge oder the day before this came in... grrr... Shame they can't keep this offer up all the time.

Posted by Duq in Ireland, 09 Apr 2010 17:39

I wish they could do that for Ireland with our €14,95 shipping costs...

Bearing in mind that Lego bought in the UK is shipped from Germany the standard delivery costs are really good.
The minimum price for a parcel in the UK is £4.41.

"Bearing in mind that Lego bought in the UK is shipped from Germany the standard delivery costs are really good."

Don't Play.com ship from Jersey ? For free ? Particularly given LEGO's premium pricing policy they should consider shipping for free; more and more retailers are going this way. I suspect it's only a matter of time, and as e-commerce grows further I predict it'll become pretty much standard across the board. Here's hoping, anyway !

@DrDaveWatford Even if shipping comes standard across the board, you'll still pay for it. It just won't be as obvious.

I emailed and asked for a refund of postage as my order had missed the offer by a few hours and that nothing had yet been shipped, just got a reply saying they would as a one off. So was worth asking for. So a plus 1 for Lego customer service from me.
