Eagle-eyed Brickset member LegoCoastGuard1996 has noticed that the online Pick-a-Brick selection at LEGO.com has been augmented with many new parts including new minifig torsos and heads. Check them out for yourself: UK | USA. It looks as if the average price of a complete minfig is about £1 or US$1.40 which I suppose isn't too bad.

I don't think those are that new. They added them when they add the Atlantis parts to LDD.

When you buy them what exactly do they come in? A box or bag perhaps?

I also see that the Combine Harvester is on special offer in the UK store.

Thanks for telling me! I don't check Pick-a-Brick that often, but when I do, it is sure to yield lots of happy surprises! :-)

legofanatic - it comes in a bag with an inventory of the pieces you ordered. The bag isn't like the ones in sets. The couple of orders I have made have come through the mail, but I haven't made any very large orders.

Posted by AZFIREWOLF in United States, 22 Apr 2010 22:39

These are also available in the Build-a-mini in most stores.

Hey 'legofanatic2414', When I've ordered from Pick-a-Brick the parts come in a zip locked Lego (logo) printed on the bag.
Another time I did the Factory build for a custom piece and that bag came tied with some tight adhesive tape.

I do find some nice pieces on Pick-A-Brick (the couple of times I've used them)especially food and good accessories. You can build various minifigs but it'll mostly be Town/City and also you can make tons of skeleton warriors. But for a full inventory of parts, I suggest (obviously)BrickLink and I've found great bulk/lots from eBay at great prices.

@AZFIREWOLF Is the Build-A-Mini at stores in the UK or USA?

Posted by cjg in United States, 23 Apr 2010 13:42

@LegoCoastGuard: They have Build-a-mini at Legoland CA. I don't know if it's at LEGO stores.

I wish the dynamite was cheaper. :( The handcuffs are a pretty good price though.
Also, does anyone know what the "Misentry" piece is? It's unavailable but I would still like to know what it is.

SWEET, I hope these new additions go for walk-in stores too,

Posted by Matthew in United Kingdom, 23 Apr 2010 15:14

@cjg thanks I will look it up and see if it's at the Discovery Centres and Legoland Windsor.

Posted by Matthew in United Kingdom, 23 Apr 2010 15:25

I cant find any beige pieces on pick-a-prick. Are there actually any or am i just being blind? Also, does anyone know where i can get a biege baseplate exactly the same as the one from Ramses Pyramid?

Posted by bluemoose in United Kingdom, 23 Apr 2010 16:26

On the online PaB 'beige'/'tan' is called 'brick yellow'.

LegoCoastGuard1996

I know that they are available in the US. I have seen them at the Chandler, AZ store. I would guess that they are available in all of the US stores.
