    More details...
    ©2010 LEGO Group

We've been getting a lot of emails today announcing finds of new sets from across the US. Exact finds vary from location-to-location, but we've had reports of new Space Police, Kingdoms, Atlantis, City, world Racers & Creator sets being available in TRU's & Lego Brand Stores. No sign of the new Star Wars sets yet.

Interestlingly, the two new Kingdoms 'Impulse' sets (7953 & 7955), widely predicted not to be released in the US, have been spotted in TRU in Richmond, California.

Let us, and Brickset's other Members, know where you've spotted the new sets! Thanks to everyone than emailed this in - thanks guys & gals :-)

I saw both Kingdoms and the City (one with the pig) Impulse sets at the TRU in Cincinnati, OH yesterday. They were priced at $4.49 each. They are listed also on TRU.com for $3.99 each.

Posted by mommylego in United States, 19 May 2010 18:23

The TRU in Fairfax, VA has the Kingdom 7955 (the wizard) and the City pig/dog Impulse sets.

I'll be checking the Orange Park, Florida Toys 'R' Us Friday or Saturday.

Posted by Wiseman_2 in United Kingdom, 19 May 2010 18:24

I don't suppose anyone's seen any of the Technic sets? Given that we haven't even got any images in the database, I'm gonna have to put it to wishful thinking -.-

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 19 May 2010 18:26

Here's hoping that the pricing on those impulse sets is just a TRU markup and not an actual Lego markup. Though I don't collect Space Police, I have to say that the Space Police Station looks pretty sweet.

Posted by podgi237 in United States, 19 May 2010 18:29

The TRU in Gurnee (near Chicago) had the city and kingdom impulse sets (wizard and the jester) - they were $4.50.

Posted by Wyanimation in United States, 19 May 2010 18:37

I actually saw 5985 at my Toys R Us in CT. It was weird though, because it was the only set from the new line of sets. All the rest were old. I went there hoping to find all 3 new impulse sets but no luck.

Posted by ryanplascano in United States, 19 May 2010 18:38

Looks like toysrus.com is listing a few new ones as well - both trucks, the passenger plane, couple others out of the City theme at least, most likely in other themes too. Checking the TRU here in Idaho this evening.

Posted by Zacherano in United States, 19 May 2010 18:44

It is a great thing for U.S. people that the two impulse sets are being released here. For me, they seem to be the most interesting aspect of the Kingdoms series so far.

Posted by brickeddad in United States, 19 May 2010 19:02

Picked up both of these sets and the city set at TRU in Phoenix. They also had Kingdoms sets 7949 and 7950. Somebody already cleaned out all of the collectable minifigs at all the local TRU's, buying them all up at once. Guess we're going to see them marked up on ebay or bricklink.

A Few Days Ago I Went to The Sacramento Lego Store.......THEY MOST OF THE SUMMER SETS!!!! I Got, The Kingdoms, Wizard & Knights Showdown! They Had all The Kingdoms, Space Police, Toy Story, World Racers, Atlantis.........& A Couple other Things! They Had Both of The Kingdom Impulses and were Both $4.00. 50¢ More Than Regular. :( If You're Near Sacramento, It's in The "Arden Fair Mall." Good Luck!

Posted by doodlebird in United States, 19 May 2010 20:28

TRU south austin, tx had pretty much everything except the pig impulse. both city trucks, airplane, airport, two new space police ships, space police center, two new big atlantis sets, two new power miners... LOTS of the kingdoms stuff... impulse included, but no big castle.

also, i was told they'd be receiving their minifigs on tuesday.

Posted by Zrath in United States, 19 May 2010 21:26

San Fernando Valley TRUs have a mix of different new sets.
The Porter Ranch one had the Undercover Cruiser and Lunar Limo and Space Police HQ, along with the new Creator jet fighter, all the World Racers sets, the small airliner, the Kingdom sets, and the pig/dog impulse set.
Newhall had Lunar Limo, jet fighter, only two World Racers, and a few others.
The Van Nuys one only had a few new sets.
So the Porter Ranch one has the best selection. I think it's technically the "Northridge" Toys'R'Us.
No sign of the collectible minifigs anywhere. :(

Posted by vamproe in United States, 19 May 2010 21:49

tru.com has them all

I just ordered the atlantis lobster set and 2 of the world racers

payday is friday and I'm getting the space police items

2 weeks later the atlantis sets

2 weeks latter the rest of the world racers

2 weeks latter the kingdom sets

tons of these sets at Massapequa NY TRU!!!

LEGO delivery truck and Octan Fuel Tanker in as well!

@jagdjh: WHAT? I Thought 50¢ Overpriced was Bad! $1 Over is Too Much! Glad I Already got The Wizard at The Lego store! (Read my Review!)

Posted by The Brick Show in United States, 19 May 2010 22:05

I was just at TRU and snagged 5 new sets. 2 from the Kingdoms (the big one King's Castle 7946 and 7950) and then 3 from world racers (8896 snake canyon, 8864 desert of destruction and 8863 blizzard's peak). they all great and we will have the video reviews for all of them in the next 7 days!

Nothing new at the Poughkeepsie, NY TRU :(

Posted by schvatts in United States, 19 May 2010 22:18

Well here in sunny Arizona the TRU has the collectible minifigs, knights kingdoms, and world racers. The prices are typical TRU over priced. Except the minifigs.

Posted by Crt2 in United States, 19 May 2010 23:43

@schvatts: KINGDOMS. ;)

Posted by Redanubis in United States, 20 May 2010 00:33

The Columbus, OH Lego store has all the kingdoms except 7948 (Outpost Attack). 7948 will be in the shipment tomorrow. The Wizard and Jester are 4$ which was pretty surprising to me. They also have about 80% of all the other new sets excluding of course Star Wars, Harry Potter and Hero Factory.

Posted by The Guy With The Bricks in United States, 20 May 2010 00:37

Schaumburg, IL Lego store had none of the new sets, or the minifigs. They said they were planning on putting out the collectible figures sometime in June. The release discrepancies are very annoying, I wish everyone would have the same schedule and stick to it rather than doing everything at different times with us having to guess who will have new sets and who will not. The TRU in Schaumburg had all of the Kingdoms sets but did not have the collectible figures either.

Posted by Dmchylde in United States, 20 May 2010 01:57

Salem, OR TRU has both impulse sets,

Posted by StormSworder in United Kingdom, 20 May 2010 03:03

That Space Police Central set looks great, like one of the space stations of old. Those Kingdom sets I saw pictures of on this site look nice as well.

Posted by Redbricker in United States, 20 May 2010 05:46

I found some of the new sets in TRU (Atlanta, Georgia)

Posted by jinxjinx550 in United States, 20 May 2010 08:41

I bought both the pig and the jester impulse sets in Rockville MD yesterday. BTW, I went back to get more of the collectible minifigs only 2 hours after I'd bought the first, and all were gone. The store had only the two boxes, and no more to restock with. Don't know about the stock levels on the impulse sets, as I wasn't looking for those the second time I went.

Posted by The_Rizulli in United States, 20 May 2010 10:01

The Mall of America LEGO store has all the new sets as well (minus Star Wars, Harry Potter, and the collectible minifigs). They also had a bunch of them 10% off due to box damage; presumably they were damaged in transit to the store. So if you don't care about pristine boxes, it's a good way to save a couple bucks.

At any rate, the Space Police Central looks to be an absolutely incredible set; there's a break room, a control room, all kinds of gear, mini vehicles, tons of other playable features, and even a pet frog for whatever awesome reason.

Posted by possum in United States, 20 May 2010 10:35

Charlotte NC (specifically Concord Mills TRU) only had the new Kingdoms in last night. No collectible MFs :( & even less knowledge of them from the staff.

Posted by Bumblepants in Cameroon, 20 May 2010 12:55

South Dallas area TRU had pretty much everything but Star Wars and the Minifigs. I got the Kingdom Jester and Wizard to make up for my disappointment in no collectible figs

Posted by voypro in United States, 20 May 2010 14:16

lexington KY had tons of new stuff too, no star wars and no minifigs either

I work for LBR at a management level and had some inside info on the sets -- They arrived to all LBR stores on the 17th and throughout the week depending on staff load capability to process the shipments. They were initially slated for a June 1 launch but we had gotten word on Monday that they could be put out which is in line with what had been happening at other LBR stores and at TRU.

As for the fabled minifig packs... They are slated to be arriving at stores on May 24 with the usual product shipments. Not entirely sure if they are at a sell-on date of June 1, but i'm expecting to put them on the floor the day of. Locally, a few TRU's got the sets in early and had been putting them out immediately and typically we work in lockstep to make sure we're allowed to break street date if TRU is doing the same.

Do NOT expect there to be a massive quantity to go around as from what I understand the initial run got a priority sent to TRU and other retailers. This means that LBR won't be getting many at all and based on the volume of calls and customer interest we've had in the sets... they won't last long. I had heard that since volume 2 is going to be out sooner rather than later that they won't be making a whole lot.

Also, don't expect to walk into a store and buy an entire box of 60 -- DM's are instructing stores to hard cap sales at only a few sets per customer and that this rule would be strictly enforced. Your best bet would be to hit other stores like TRU and use the posted barcode guide.

I Just Got Back from The Modesto TRU, They Had all the Kingdoms, Lavatraz, All The World racers, Farmer Impulse ($4.50), Lego Truck & Undercover Cruiser. BUT NO COLLECTIBLE MINIFIGS!!!!!!!! They Say They May Get a Lego-Carrying Truck next Week (Remind you of Something?) I'll Be There!!

Posted by bader in United States, 21 May 2010 09:15

Found tons of Kingdoms sets (including impuls), Lego Truck and World Racers in Paramus NJ. BUT NO COLLECTIBLE MINIFIGS :(

Posted by jjfan in United States, 21 May 2010 11:59

I went to my local Toys-R-Us yesterday and they had a lot of the new LEGO sets. The had 3 World Racers, all but maybe 1 or 2 of the Kingdoms, and they had the new LEGO Truck (3221). They might have had other new sets but those where the ones that stood out. And some of the other new sets were on sale for 20% off, mainly the new Toy Story 3 sets. They also had the collectable minifigures at 1 of the registers. They had 2 boxes that were opened and looked like they had sold maybe about 1/4 - 1/2 of one of the boxes. They had just put the out when they opend the store and I went in the afternoon. Of course I didn't have the Cheat Sheet for the barcodes so me and my family stood there for almost an hour checking barcodes. We were able to complete one full set and got an extra robot and the last 2 clowns they had. Surprisingly they were only $1.99 compared to what price was going around before they came out.

Posted by skaitey in United States, 21 May 2010 12:14

I just spotted the Wizard and Jester for $3.99 at the TRU in Alpharetta, GA! But no sign of the collectable figs yet.

Posted by thomasbozeman in United States, 21 May 2010 13:17

My TRU has the City sets coming up this summer, with the exclusion of trains. Collectible figs were there too, with SP3, World Racers, and a few other things.

Posted by Crt2 in United States, 21 May 2010 16:13

Does anyone Know of any TRUs That Carry These in California? Around The Stockton Area Perhaps?

Posted by Magnus77 in United States, 21 May 2010 16:14

The TRU's here in Orlando, FL have lots of new sets. I picked up the Kingdoms impulse sets and a set of minifigs. They had all the Kingdom sets, bunch of Atlantis, World Racers, and Space Police sets. They also had the new City lego truck, Pig Farm and impulse set, and the airport. No trains though or Star Wars.

Stopped at the Lego Store at Downtown Disney and they had no new sets though. Arg!!

Posted by Zacherano in United States, 21 May 2010 16:47

@Magnus77 - I don't understand why you stopped at two. Isn't it pretty clear the the trains and Star Wars have not come out in any store yet? What was your other reason?

Posted by rainstorm26 in United States, 21 May 2010 19:06

New minifigs = test to see if the lego buying public will accept the cheap chinese made minifigs. Hey! I know if you call them collectable, of course they will buy them. I cancelled a pre-order them. This is the prelude to all of the legos being made in china. Its the same thing in my company. They keep moving our production over there, but the quality stunk and we had to send some of our key quality folks over there to teach them how to fix the problem it took a long time.

Posted by August222 in United States, 21 May 2010 19:28

On my local TRU: looked around and around this morning--nothing new. Then I noticed on the floor in one of the isles a low pile of cardboard boxes: Kingdoms, Space Police and the rest. Whooohooo! So why now rather than August? Anyone have the inside scoop?

On the quality of the collectables--the market is a tough beast. If they move their production to China, fans will come up with one term or another: BC (before China production) and AC (after China production). I'd rather pay higher prices for consistent quality but who knows if the powers-that-be know this...

Posted by stevenli in United States, 21 May 2010 20:14

@Crt2: How much DO you travel? First Sac, then Modesto, and now Stockton?

TRU Stockton didn't have the minifigs or Kingdom impulses. They had everything else it seems. The employee looked at me as if I were insane about minifigs sold separately....he'll know better in a week or less.

Posted by r2d2qa in United States, 21 May 2010 20:43

Here's the report for Norman, Oklahoma's TRU. We have all the City, Kingdoms, World Racers, Toy Story 3, and Duplo sets, but for Atlantis and Space Police III we've only got Deep Sea Striker, Portal of Atlantis, and Undercover Cruiser, =)

Posted by brickmatt in United States, 21 May 2010 20:51

Evansville, IN TRU now has, I believe, all of the new sets that have been seen elsewhere, minifigures excepted. I got a couple of small kingdoms sets and the impulse pig and farmer set, but I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer for the minifigures.

Posted by Crt2 in United States, 21 May 2010 21:13

Posted by ceroknight in Canada, 21 May 2010 23:49

I would really like these to be available in Canada....however promising myself to be a hard core starwars collector this year, makes me resist the temptation to get these awesome sets

Posted by Divinity3d in United States, 22 May 2010 01:26

Our TRU's in SoCal have everything too, got me 56 minifigs, the 2 new kingdons mini sets and the piggy farm one, also grabbed the kingdom one with the dark green plume in his hat and the queen at the top of the tower... So excited i couldnt make any sense of feeling up the bags so i just bought them all, not keeping them tho- sharing with other afols at the price i paid =)

Posted by I like Lego in Canada, 22 May 2010 17:43

Just got back from the Toys"R"us near the Dollarama (Toronto, Ontario) , and I went completely Mad in the Lego Section! I'll go by theme on what NEW stuff they had their:

Atlantis: 8077 Atlantis Exploration HQ, 8076 Deep Sea Striker

World Racers: Everything except 8898 Wreckage Road

Space Police: 5983 Undercover Cruiser, 5984 Lunar Limo, 5985 Space Police Central

Power Miners: 8190 Claw Catcher

Kingdoms: 7949 Prison Carriage Rescue

The 2 downsides were is they didn't put up the prices for the new sets (I however memorized the Prices), and there were no Collectible Minifigs! Oh, and I got 8896 Snake Canyon (World Racers)!

Posted by alpha 40 in United States, 22 May 2010 19:12

TRU North Haven, CT has them. I ended up getting the wizard impulse set, 7950, and 20 minifigures (1 of each and 4 random extras.) They had many summer sets like the lego truck, Atlantis, World Racers, Creator, space police pig impulse, and all of the kingdoms. I wanted a full box, but they didn't have the box and they were hanging next to the Check-out line loose.

Posted by jwsmart in United States, 22 May 2010 19:30

I'm happy to report that the TRU in Lake Grove, NY has the collectible minifigures, as well as the new Space Police, some of the Atlantis stuff, and several of the Kingdoms sets (including the jester/wizard impulse buy sets, and the King's Castle). There were also some world racer things, and toy story 3. I didn't notice any of the new Star Wars sets, but I wasn't looking very hard. I spent 45 minutes scanning collectible minifigures, and was very pleased when they let me buy 55 of them.

There were a ton of minifigures, and at least a couple boxes were unopened.

Posted by baylego in United States, 22 May 2010 19:41

My local TRU in Colorado had the collectible minifigures, but they were gone after I bought the last couple there. They were in the islands in the middle of the main isle near the Legos. They had all of the summer sets, but still no Star Wars sets.

Posted by Crt2 in United States, 22 May 2010 21:32

So Really, Are There any Figure Carrying Stores in the SF Bay Area?

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 22 May 2010 23:06

Found most of the new sets at our Lego store so now we can figure out what kind of markup TRU is adding.

All in USD...

The 3 new impulses are indeed $4 now...airport $100....passenger plane $40....octan tanker $20...yellow Lego truck $35...castle $100...prison tower $50...outpost attack $20...prison carriage $10...knight's showdown $7...creator jet $50

Surprisingly, I also saw a Lego Set I had never seen let alone heard about....It was a fairly big Atlantis Robot that transforms (i.e. just folds its legs up) into a sub and comes with a neat sea serpent....Forgot to look, but I'm guessing it's set 8080

Posted by Werdna in United States, 23 May 2010 02:55

While I was picking up some colllectible figs at TRU, I saw some of the new sets as well. I saw two of the new World Racers sets (which are pretty epic looking) as well as some Space police and City sets.

Posted by I like Lego in Canada, 23 May 2010 08:03

@ yellowcastle: It is 8080.

Posted by Pulpdiction in United Kingdom, 23 May 2010 09:37

I was at Toy R Us in Solihull near Birmingham on Friday and they had some new sets, the yellow lego truck, plane, and something else, I can't remember which, but the shelves were stocked up, the lego truck was £29.99 though, I can see this being discounted to around £19.99 as I don't think people will be buying many at that price.

Posted by Krataka15792 in United States, 23 May 2010 12:43

I saw a few kingdoms sets and world racers sets at the TRU in Palm Desert, I think. Sadly, No Hero Factory sets. Any news on those sets?

Posted by Crt2 in United States, 23 May 2010 13:50

@yellowcastle: Do You Know The Price of 8080? We (Me & I like Lego) Can Use it For The Lego Atlantis wiki.

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 24 May 2010 08:31

It never occurred to me to check that set more closely as I figured I had just not been paying enough attention to what was coming out for Atlantis...that being said, the box size suggested $34.99 to $39.99 USD....but I'm sure someone can actually confirm this for us...

Posted by Crt2 in United States, 24 May 2010 12:51

@yellowcastle:Thanks!

Posted by yellowcastle in United States, 24 May 2010 15:05

Another weird thing is that one of my TRU's along with the TRU website are actually selling some sets for LESS than LEGO...

All in USD...

Octan Tanker ($18.99 at TRU, $19.99 at LEGO), Creator Jet ($56.99 at TRU, $59.99 at LEGO), Passenger Plane ($36.99 at TRU, $39.99 at LEGO), Knight Midsize Fort ($47.99 at TRU, $49.99 at LEGO), Yellow Truck ($32.99 at TRU, $34.99 at LEGO)...

I don't suspect this will last long...

8190
the kingdoms impulse sets (YAY!)
undercover cruiser (but i got the UC at ANOTHER branch)
world racers
8077 & 8076

Posted by Captain Blockbeard in United States, 26 May 2010 21:03

My local TRU in eastern Pennsylvania finally received a shipment of all the newest Legos today, with only the largest Kingdoms set (the castle) missing. Interestingly, prices on nearly every new Lego set were $2-3 higher than the prices listed on the official TRU website. Fortunately, the minifigures were the correct price and no limits placed on purchasing in bulk, so I bought a quarter of all available, using that cheatsheet to get exactly what I desired. Thanks for posting that, by the way.

We picked up at TRU here (north of Nashville, TN) last week: 7949 Kingdoms Prisoner Rescue, and the two impulse sets Jester and Wizard (7953 & 7955) both were $4.49ea (yeah definately impulse after seeing the price everyone else was paying). They also had the Yellow Semi-truck and the Airport and Airplane, and several other Kingdoms sets 7946, 7947, and 7950, did not see 7948 or the 30061 and 30062 sets.
