I've updated many of the site's data sets this evening:

    - I've imported the latest minifig data from BrickLink. Several people have emailed to ask about why the collectable minifigs are not showing in their minifig collection when they mark one of the collectable minifig sets as owned. Well, unfortunately BrickLink catalogue admins have made a right pigs-ear of the inventory of the set and have lumped all 16 variants together as one set which means the data is not presented properly for it to be used here. I am hoping that sense will prevail there and it'll become usable, but if that doesn't happen I will have to find a means of adding the data manually here.

    - I've also added the images from LEGO.com for the latest batch of new releases, and added a few new instructions that Brent has uncovered over the last week or so.

    - Finally, I have moved some of the Brickset images to a differtent server due to restrictions placed on accessing them at 1000Steine.com. The 'additional images', wallpapers and World Show images are now on a new server. When I load set details pages containing additional images I am sometimes presented with 'broken image' symbols instead of the thumbnails. I am trying to resolve that issue with the new web host but so far I have been unsuccessful. I'd be grateful if you'd comment on this message if you also see broken images where the additional image thumbnails should be so I can get a grasp of the scale of the problem.

Thanks for all your hard work Huw. This is one of the best, most well put together sites out there. The level of organization that must go into maintaining it is stunning but in the end it is the most useful Lego site out there.

Thank you for doing this. This is by far the most userfriendly site out there. Keep up the good work.

Yes I agree with crzypainter and alosx - this is one of the best sites out there for so many lovers of Lego out there which can mainly be credited to our staff, including Huw :)

A big thanks for putting up the high quality image of the undersea explorer. I've just got to have that set!

" A right pig's ear", eh? Hmph. Thanks for still doing all this, Huw. Any lesser sight owner would have given up long ago.

@bionicleboy95 I agree thanks a lot

Well done Huw for all the hard effort you put in.
I've noticed on some sets I look at, sometimes the a few of the minifig pictures don't load and I just get a red X.

Try harder Huw! It's not like you run a site with almost every single Lego set in history, allowing you to track your collection smoothly and easily, and determine how many minifigures are in your collection, and post and read reviews about different sets, and then find the cheapest price for them on eBay and Amazon, and then find the instruction booklets for sets, and read the latest Lego news, and...
Oh.
Huw, you do a fantastic job, so really, I have no complaints. I can understand why it would be annoying, though.

I got a 'broken image' symbol for the third and sixth thumbnails on Undersea Explorer's page upon first loading it:
http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=8080-1
When I refreshed the page, all of the thumbnails turned into 'broken image' symbols.
A second refresh brought back the first thumbnail.
A third refresh brought back all the thumbnails.
Otherwise, all the images for that set load properly--thanks so much for the updates, Huw! :D

What happened at 1000steine? Or is it hard to explain?

EDIT: I agree with all who say you work hard on this site all the time. I think I speak for every user when I say this is one of the best [Lego, at least] websites out there! :)

Have u ever thought about putting the brick arms stuff on this sight if u don't no wat that is head to brickarms.com

Thanks for all the hard work you've been doing to maintain this site, Huw! For me, the thumbnails for some sets disappear about one third of the time.

Now, time to go through some of the new instructions! :)

@Bigjaw: BrickArms isn't LEGO, so why would Huw even think of putting custom items on a reference site about LEGO products? You could just go to BrickArms' site to access all the items.

Additional image thumbnails seem to be a bit more reliable now for me...they aren't disappearing as often as they used to. Huw, if you did anything to resolve that issue, I thank you. Even if you didn't do anything, I still thank you for this awesome Web site. :)
