    8080: Undersea Explorer
    Atlantis, 2010
    More details...
    ©2010 LEGO Group

In addition to the new Minifigures able to be purchased on the online shop (currently number 4 on the top sellers list!) there were more late 2010 sets added afterwards! The rest of the Atlantis sets were added, including the hard-to-find 8080 Undersea Explorer (will be a store exclusive in the U.S., currently unknown which store it will be exclusive to), the rest of the Kingdoms sets are out, more World Racers, and well as the rest of the 2009 games! Grab them while you can, the few that were released earlier this week are already high on the best-sellers list.

Methinks 8080 will be a Target exclusive in the US, looking at price and box size.

@Unknown User2596: I'd Agree, But Yellowcastle Said he saw it at TRU in the states .... Glad They Decided to Release Magikus!

Posted by joetheman in United States, 01 Jun 2010 18:34

I saw a lot of them in my TRU in the states and almost bought one.

Just bought mine from s@h a couple hours ago :)

Posted by rruddick in United States, 01 Jun 2010 19:35

My local TRU raised the prices on the minifigs to $2.49 last night. Did everyone else experience the price hike in their stores too?

Posted by brick boy in United States, 01 Jun 2010 19:38

nevermind me. i found the colletible minifigs on legoshop.com. they are a pretty good price in the U.S. 2$ each. but for all of them its 32$! still a good price.I`ll be buying some as soon as a can!!

@Crt2 - I've only seen 8080 at one of our Brand stores, not TRU.

In regards to the next batch of exclusives, I can only confirm so far that the Target has the TS3 Pizza Shooting Delivery Truck (which looks great, by the way).

Weirdly enough, I've actually "never" even seen the current Walmart exclusive, the Star Wars landspeeder. Between our 2 Brand Stores and my 4 local Walmarts, you would think I would have come across it at least once but nope.

Also, I was really hoping to be able to advise all that I found new sets and CM at TRU, Walmart, and Target yesterday being that it was indeed June 1. Unfortunately, I struck out everywhere. I still think, though, that we should start seeing these this week here in the U.S.

I could be wrong, but it seems like Target exclusives have been in the $30-$50 range in the past, usually $40.

I was at the Concord Mills (NC) Brand store last night for the MMM build. They had plenty of 8080s, along with 8076, 8077 & 8078. Also lots of new Kingdoms & World Racers.

Additionally, there were scores of minifigs as well as people trying to take more than their allotted five. I made a woman's night when I gave her my bar code printout. :) They weren't running out of stock on them, but they were definitely the hottest item in the store.

Wow, the collectable minifigs are flying off the shelves. They are wicked popular I guess! Though I really like them.

I contacted one of my local brand stores and was told that they received in several boxes yesterday but had already gone through half of them, even with the 5 figure limit. I've got to make sure I complete my nightmare clown team before time runs out. ;o)

Great pricing and popular figures allow for a good run. Making them 'hidden' is especially nice for the little kids for those reward treats. I can't see them not making a bunch more of these in the future. May take another 1-2 months as they clearly underestimated demand, but it'll come well before the holidays.

I bet they'll overreact and flood the market with Series 2 and have them at 1/2 off my Christmas!

I haven't seen the impulse Kingdom sets anywhere. Are they at the Brand stores (none even remotely close to me).

Yellowcastle where do you live?

Posted by swgriffin in Australia, 02 Jun 2010 17:25

I'm slightly annoyed lego gave an atlantis set the 8080 code, it should have been used for the new AT-AT...

Posted by brickmatt in United States, 02 Jun 2010 17:32

I still don't have any of the minifigures yet - my TRU is supposed to have them on this week's shipment on Thursday or Friday. I was on Louisville on Memorial day and looked there since I don't live near a brand store, but still couldn't find any even with three TRUs: two didn't have them, and one was sold out.

@AZFIREWOLF - Virginia/D.C./Maryland area

Posted by getjudyherenow in United States, 02 Jun 2010 18:01

TRU raised the price to $2.49 at the Columbia, Maryland store. Still bought the whole box...I love the smell of minifigs in the morning.

@yellowcastle: 7213 Off road Fire Truck and Boat is also a Target exclusive. (something that i think most people do not know)

Posted by wildcherryp3psi in United States, 02 Jun 2010 20:05

I called the Chandler AZ store at around 1pm yesterday and they said that they had the minifigures but were selling out fast. I rushed over there after work, got there around 4pm and they had completely sold out. I spoke to the store clerks and they said they sold all 500 that went on sale.
I think Lego need to make an official statement on whether these are going to be a specific number limited run or not.
