A yearly event.

  • A yearly event.

    Posted by shima55, 17 Dec 2007 15:38. Filed under shop.LEGO.com (General).

Every year, around this time, LEGO shelves are not stocked well. In a month or two, this problem will be gone. But, many of the sets released this year will not be restocked, as they have been discontinued. So, before you buy every new 2008 set, make sure to look and see if there aren't some 2007 sets you still want, as they may not be around much longer.

Whaa?!?!? Well my parents are prob going to buy me some 2007/2008 sets for Xmas!

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 17 Dec 2007 15:46

Oh my local target has still many 2007 sets and I mean ALOT.Maybe around that area many kids/teens don't like EXO-FORCE, Star Wars,City,Bionicle, etc...

Or just the lego subject.

Posted by Bran-don-jin in United States, 17 Dec 2007 16:56

Its always sad to see a lego generation go.

Posted by Nova Hunter in United States, 17 Dec 2007 17:08

There's always been a lack of City sets in my area, but plenty of Bionicle and Aqua Raiders.

Posted by marcussmithAFTERTHECRASH, 17 Dec 2007 17:19

I hate it when this happens. At target they always change the location of the lego isle in Jan. And at TRU they don't start really stocking the lego sets until Feb. Because of this I try to buy most of my sets before the holidays.

Posted by bruno vaiano, 17 Dec 2007 17:59

Yes, here on Brazil, go from shop to shop... some shops have lots of sets from x-mas, but some are completily non-LEGO!

Posted by Deinonychus in United Kingdom, 17 Dec 2007 18:11

The upside is that Target and some other retailers usually place several older LEGO sets on severe clearance after Christmas is gone and passed.

So you have the opportunity to buy sets you wanted for much less, or sets you didn't know you wanted for cheap!

Posted by Stealth Bomb in United States, 17 Dec 2007 18:58

Just use Lego.com. I dont care, as I have already bought my share of 07.

Posted by LegoMan384 in United States, 17 Dec 2007 19:37

My town only has one toy store and they don't have many Lego sets. The nearest target/Toys r us is about 30 min. away.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 17 Dec 2007 19:56

Well, it's the end of the year and that means that this years sets are just about ready to leave the shelves. We had one year to procure as many of these '07 sets as we could, and I'd say that's plenty of time, but for those of you who don't have the sets you wanted to get this year I'm sorry to say but, like many things, Legos move on and we just got to make sure that we move along with them.

But for some of you, your in good shape, like me. :) I have all the sets I wanted this year except for the 10178 and the 7666 which I plan on getting for Christmas. But this "yearly event" is actually kinda good; it is a great way to finsh off the year and to get a fresh, new start on some great sets. :D

Posted by ARC170Dinofighter in Canada, 17 Dec 2007 20:32

Yeah, that happened to me once. last year, I was going to buy the Jabba Sail Barge. I was all over it, the price was even going down, when, at Christmas, suddenly it was SOLD OUT! I have never seen it since.

Posted by Darth, 17 Dec 2007 20:56

Well I better act quickly! Then again, I probably bot alot of 2007 sets for X-mas otehr than the ones I already had...

Posted by SillyQuack in United States, 17 Dec 2007 21:04

Sad,was that the same fate for the A-Wing though? Well I don't need that many 2007 sets, for star wars, I have around 4 or 5 clone speeders and droid battle packs.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 17 Dec 2007 22:55

Target has good sales on there website

Posted by jackishigh! in United States, 17 Dec 2007 23:14

Yeah, I'm searching for this year's matoran before next years 14-piecer matoran invade shelves. Searched about 4 stores w/ no luck. sad. =(

Posted by sabpol in United States, 18 Dec 2007 00:41

Target's US web site has some Star Wars, Mars, and other themes 20% off. The funny thing is that none of these same sets were 20% off when I went to Target on Sunday. I ran a couple of sets under the scanner to make sure. It seems they're only discounted if purchased through Target.com.

Posted by Luhan in Portugal, 18 Dec 2007 05:52

Actually here in Portugal I'm not having problems with that. There is a shopping 5 min away from home with a Toys'r us and a Lego store. The other day, i found an ARC-170 at Toys'r Us, but i didn't buy it because the box wasn't in very good condition. And there are V-wings too and jabba's sail barges :)

Posted by bmwlego in United States, 18 Dec 2007 06:13

Target is a LEGO fan's dream store. You have to know how to work the system there. Target will place an item on clearance and if it doesn't sell, they reduce the price even further. My friends bought me the Racers Bridge Chase for my birthday in November. The set retails for 40 bucks and was on clearance 25% off (27.98). A week later I went back to Target and found it for 75% off for 9.99! When I notice an item on clearance, I am patient with it and wait for the discount to increase. Always, I mean always use the scanners at Target. The red stickers often do not reflect the latest mark downs. The Racers set I mentioned was still marked 27.98 even though it scanned 9.99.

The bricksetters are right. Now that the 08's are shipping out, look for the 07's to be on clearance. Usually at this time of the year and in January/February I buy multiple Tiny Turbos for .98 cents. Be patient and your patience will be rewarded.

Wal-Mart on the other hand is not as aggressive when it comes to markdowns. I had my eyes on the soccer field (just to buy the minifigs). It was a 50 dollar set that Wal-Mart marked down to 34.99 after the holidays. I noticed it in February. This same set sat on the clearance shelves until November when the employee that I always see working the toy section was putting it into a shopping cart with a ton of toys that were being shipped back to the manufacturer. The LEGO soccer box was wrecked, ripped and looked horrible. I would have bought this set for the right price but apparently Wal-Mart would rather go through the hassle of returning an item instead of marking these types of items down at a deep discount.

Happy hunting!

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 18 Dec 2007 10:22

I just got the Imperial drop ship for 40$ instead of the normal 50$. So i also baught another clone batle pack. no sale there:( Now i own all '07 star wras sets except for greviouses ship witch i do not really want. so i am now happy and ready to buy '08s as soon as they come out. Happy holidays.
Sorry for misspellings if there are any.

Posted by madwolf, 18 Dec 2007 11:22

Can't wait for the price drops

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 18 Dec 2007 12:05

I'm a new Bricksetter people!

I could find a few shops in the new year which still sell 2007 products! The Lego Shop@Home still doesn't have anyhting for England for 2008, so I'll have to settle for TRU for now!

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 18 Dec 2007 14:02

Wait a minute, littlelegoluke, you said that you owned all the SW '07 sets except the grievous starfighter. By what you stated, that means that you own the UCS Millenium Falcon, right? WOOOOOOOOWWW! I don't know anyone who owns that set, it is just HUUUUUUGE, by the way it looks.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 18 Dec 2007 14:21

And, I totally agree with you, mister bmw. Ya, target.com is so up to date. I mean, several months befor the lego star war 3 came out, TARGET.COM HAD IT ON PREODER!!! I mean, I didn't even know that there was gona be a lego star wars 3 until I found it on target.com.

And when the 7662 MTT first came out, I coud not find it anywhere, online or in stores. But about a week or so after it came out, I found the new mtt on target.com. And target does have lots of great deals. Every time I go to the website, I see that about three fourths of the legos come with free shipping. And this last weekend I went to a target store to buy the Mr. Magorium's Big Book. I GOT IT FOR $15 INSTEAD OF THE USUAL $20! Yup, target is much better than all of the other lego stores, except the one in Mall of America.

And you want to know something ironic, I actually got my very first lego set ever at a target store.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 18 Dec 2007 14:25

And also, that big death star 2 sale that shima55 posted, THE SALE IS ON TARGET.COM, WHOOO HOOO, GO TARGET!!!!! :D :D

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 18 Dec 2007 15:10

There's no target stores in the UK!

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 18 Dec 2007 15:12

Well, then I feel REALLY, REALLY bad for you guys in the UK. <:(

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 18 Dec 2007 15:25

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 18 Dec 2007 16:14

Oh, and by the way, the U.S. states Vermont, Alaska, and Hawaii don't have target stores either. :<

Posted by Jason in United States, 19 Dec 2007 01:54

Last year I found the special edition Batmobile for $27 (regularly $69) at my local Fred Meyer. Here in Oregon, Fred Meyer is a discount department store similar to Target or Walmart. They had it discounted twice. I love 50% off. This year I've been very loyal to my local LEGO brand store. I love the loyalty card program and the free shipping on any wet they don't have in stock (provided its still available on LEGO.com). I most of the Viking sets at 50% off this way back in July. This month I've already got a bunch of Duplo train bridges for 50% off at the LEGO store, and I got the two mosaic sets for 50% off at Fred Meyer. I really appreciate all the advice here about Target. I'll plan on trolling their aisles after Christmas this year. I found a couple more Viking sets at ToysRUs in August and September, but they weren't on sale. I snatched them up anyway, since they were discontinued sets, and I'm going to have to go to BrinkLink to complete my collection. Has anyone else found great deals at ToysRUs or WalMart?

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 19 Dec 2007 05:21

No, not me Jason. Everything is at full price! :(

Posted by brickzone in Ireland, 19 Dec 2007 09:31

Some sets have been reduced here in Ireland since end of Nov by the main toy chain, Smyths. E.g. police station at €40 instead of €55. However, they have *OODLES* of the major 2007 sets and are restocking continuously despite the sale prices (shelves continuously look half-empty, but there are stacks of the sets on top of the shelves). Only the train sets seem to be gone completely, and Harbour seems to be getting low (it was down to €56 from €90, but is now back to €70). Argos (UK and IRL catalogue retailer) have also reduced 07 stock - incl Kings Castle Siege (€90 instead of €105). I picked up the complete castle collection though which was incredible value for Ireland on S@H (about €50 less even than Germany prices).

I hope Smyths has greater reductions on 07 stock in the new year, I'd like to pick up the Fire Station (€48 now, down from €55 - still pricey enough).

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 19 Dec 2007 13:50

Now, is there a brickset commenteer that lives in Denmark? If you do, speak now, please, or forever hold your peace; and also if you live in Denmark, what is the lego stock like? <:)

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 19 Dec 2007 13:51

And, do you speak Engish, that would help us a lot. ;)

Posted by bmwlego in United States, 19 Dec 2007 21:23

Glad to see that others have found Target a good source of LEGO sales. Target is a great place for LEGO at full retail. They sell LEGO at the same price as LEGO.com. Toys R Us marks everything up a bit. The Tiny Turbos are 4.99 at Target and 5.99 at TRU. The 19.99 sets are 20.99. The Star Wars army builder sets are 9.99 at Target and 12.99 at TRU! Why "The World's Greatest Toy Store" marks up their products is beyond me. It is pretty sad. Go to target.com and search for LEGO. There are many sets that are on clearance or reduced by 10-20 percent.
I hope that we talk about our post xmas clearance finds. Happy hunting fellow bricksetters.

If there is a Big Lots by you, check them out this week. They have 20 dollar sets on sale for 10 bucks. I bought the revvin riders and prehistoric creatures for 10 bucks each. They just started carrying LEGO. They also have Bionicles for 5 bucks.

The TRU by me had all of the Indiana Jones sets that have been released. They look great but the pictures on the net make the army vehicles look gray/greenish but they are light gray. I thought LEGO made a new color for this series and was upset to find out the bricks were just light gray.

Posted by bmwlego in United States, 19 Dec 2007 22:22

David,
I put off my trip to Target to look for LEGO. I have been noticing the same thing at the Targets by me. LEGO is selling well and I am afraid that the older sets will not be around so they can be marked down after Christmas. I know that there has been a lot in the news and rightfully so about unsafe toys made in China so being that LEGO is not made in China, consumers feel safe buying LEGO. Perhaps this is a major reason for the lack of LEGO at Target. Hopefully I will be able to find a bunch of clearance LEGO after the holidays at Target.

Off to open up today's Advent Calendar surprise!

Posted by lego vally in Australia, 20 Dec 2007 02:55

i live in australia. most deparment stores still have a lot of lego when i last checked which was a week ago. bmwlego i agree with you however if you look at the side of some lego boxes and you can see where the components are made. some are made in china.

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 20 Dec 2007 05:53

That's funny, David and bmwlego, because Toy's R Us or 'TRU' as I'm beginning to call it has shelves stacked full to the brim. I'm especially surprised to see that no one seems to notice that the 2008 sets are being sold in England, outside Brickset. There were >5 IJ Temple escapes, >5 Motorbike Chases, 4 Lost Tombs, >5 Police Waterplanes and at least 10 Switch Fighters last time I looked. Unfortunately, there are still no SW sets other than about 2 Rogue Shadows and I took the last Mobile Mining Unit :)

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 20 Dec 2007 13:58

Well, jee, cody, I wonder why TRU has so many legos. Probably because there not selling well 'cause they are so pricey. /:(

See, basically the dynamics of how these three stores sell their legos is as follows: Walmart starts their prices some-what low and don't really change them plus walmart barely has anything :( Toys'R'Us starts their prices high and they stay high, and Target has plenty of legos at fair prices which tend to go down 'cause when I go to target I nearly all the time see legos on clearance. You decide the store that you like best. I like target the best. :)

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 20 Dec 2007 15:00

And by the way, target does have some of the new 2008 sets, because I know someone who found the MM Switch Fighter at target.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 20 Dec 2007 15:31

Well, it is about time they started stocking up on star wars.

Speaking of which, I'm havein' a hard time findin' the 10178 SW Motorized AT-AT and the 7666 SW Hoth Rebel Base. It's odd because they just came out in September and legos stay in stock much longer than just three months. And I'm trying not to order them off the internet because they probably won't ship 'til AFTER Christmas. So, does anyone know a store that still sells them?

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 20 Dec 2007 16:28

2008 lego SW sets are listed on S@H.Whooo!!! :)

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 20 Dec 2007 19:08

So, these sets aren't available, huh.
That is just BUZARE!

New City sets are available at S&H in the US. Specifically, the new cargo truck and the air mail plane.

Posted by legoschlegel in United States, 20 Dec 2007 22:20

A bunch of the Creator sets are also available at S@H in the US. The beach house is amongst the many.

Exactly. If you want to talk about the new '08 sets then please post your comments on another article.

Posted by GreatBear in Canada, 21 Dec 2007 13:38

Enjoy your new sets, Yanks. Lego Canada S@H has a blank Indiana Jones page and TRU, Walmart, etc, have bare shelves. I think the Lego STAR WARS video game has really boosted interest.

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 21 Dec 2007 14:00

I went to a Toymaster the other day (I don't know if it's in any countries other than UK) and there were huge amounts of money off different themes. The Mars Mission Eagle Base was £50 instead of £70, the Aqua Raiders Crab Crusher was £15 instead of £35, and loads of other sets had minor discounts.

(unfortunately there was no sale on the Imperial Dropship (2007) that I wanted, or any other Star Wars for that matter!)

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 21 Dec 2007 14:11

Not for me

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 21 Dec 2007 15:32

Does anyone know about the avalibility of star wars legos in target.(especilay on the west coast.)

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 21 Dec 2007 20:32

I've found that the wal-marts in my area still have plenty of y-wings,jedi starfighters, naboo starfighters, and various city sets, however they are running low on b-wings,most castle sets and exo-force.(I got the last blade titan on the shelf just yesterday.) I live in canada, where target stores do not exist so therefore I know nothing about the availability of 2007 sets in target, however, it is my understanding that they usually have quite a good selection.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 21 Dec 2007 21:09

K cool anything about 08s

Posted by jego2007, 22 Dec 2007 00:13

Headed over to TRU today, and low and behold the star wars 08s were in!

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 22 Dec 2007 01:41

My TRU had all the 08 star wars sets but target had none.
I picked up reble scout speeder, imp dropship and hallfire and spider droid. they are all cool sets.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 22 Dec 2007 08:17

Didnt they retire the Harry Potter theme.

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 22 Dec 2007 09:04

I don't think the've retired the harry potter theme, its just that they only made one set from the newest movie. Hopefully we will see plenty of new sets when the sixth movie comes out. In reference to the new 2008 sets, my local stores have none except for the new spongebob ones(ugh!).

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 22 Dec 2007 12:42

I hope not my little sister loves them and thats my gift for her every holiday.

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 22 Dec 2007 13:01

I hope there are some lego Star Wars sets next time I go to TRU, and yes, I agree, I despise Lego Spongebob, and Harry Potter for that matter!

Did you find any pics of these summer '08 sets, dekarxp?

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 22 Dec 2007 15:26

No,not yet but when time comes around i'll be happy to give out the pics! ;)
So which one do you think you'll like?

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 22 Dec 2007 15:41

Everything expensive. There is nothing under 30$. And what is 7674 V-19 Torrent and 7679 fighter thank 13os and Tie defender.
Republic Gunship sounds cool(if i can afford it). And finnaly what about imperial impersination(endor set).

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 22 Dec 2007 15:42

The AT-TE most definitely. However, it is much more expensive than the previous 2003 version. That must mean that it is gona be bigger and better than ever. :)

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 22 Dec 2007 15:45

Well, the "endor set" might come out later in the year. We don't know if it is a rumored SUMMER set.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 22 Dec 2007 15:57

Yo, dekarxp, those new sets that you just told us about THEY HAVE THEM ON BRICKSET!!! WHHOOOOOOO!!!!

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 22 Dec 2007 16:05

What?Yahoooo!
Well the endor one might come out as a LIMITED EDITION in summer '08 or '09...

But wii have to wait for confirmation! Thanks Leggodt for the heads up! :)

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 22 Dec 2007 16:09

Whoa there, commander-cody, I didnt say anything about me not liking the harry potter sets! I admit, the spongebob sets are juniorised(obviously) and they're not great but the harry potter license is great for lego to have as harry potter is a very popular property and the sets aren't bad!

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 22 Dec 2007 16:09

Leggodt...you're telling me that brickset used my given info of the 2008 summer SW as I listed?

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 22 Dec 2007 16:15

Oh, and just to clear things up, littlelegoluke, I said that the stores in my area did have the newest spongebob sets(rocket ride and bikini bottom express.)So your sister should have a happy holiday. By the way, I've been thinking about buying my little sister one of the spongebob sets for her birthday as she has expressed interest in getting one. Do you know which ones are the best littlelegoluke? I, personally,do not like the sets as I have said earlier but my sister seems to like them.

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 22 Dec 2007 16:18

It appears so,leggodt, I just checked and they have the republic gunship listed. By the way, where did you get that information?

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 22 Dec 2007 16:20

eurobricks...

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 22 Dec 2007 16:27

So they are making a Endor Base?

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 22 Dec 2007 17:34

Well then, you you must have last checked a long, long time ago, david.

Well, you see guys, after I usuallly log into brickset I read some of the latest comments and then browse the site for Star Wars 2008 sets. After I read your comment, dekarxp, about those new sets, I checked the Star Wars 2008 sets on the browse as I usually do and I saw that the sets that you mentioned were listed. So, I just had to tell you. When brickset listed those sets, I don't know. But there still doesn't seem to be any pics of them yet.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 22 Dec 2007 17:52

And, Tuskinvader, the endor set(Imperial Impersonation) is a set that is an imperial shuttle and the minifigs are endor han, luke, leia, chewie, and endor rebel troops. So, it's not really an endor set, it's more of an imperial shuttle set.

After reading this thread I decided to make rounds in search of left-over inventory on sale. I love in the Portland, Oregon area. At Big Lots I found 3301 Cranky-Loading Crane from the Thomas and Friends theme. That set is from 2006. He was on sale for $15 from $20. I didn't find any other LEGO sets at Big Lots, but I did find another item of interest: storage boxes. Big Lots carries several styles of the Sterilite storage products which are so popular among adult fans of LEGO. Next, I went to Toys R Us. The most interesting thing I saw were a couple of Viking sets. I found Viking Army #7020 and Viking Double Catapult #7021. These are both 2006 sets, but I didn't notice their sticker price since I already have these. I was really hoping to find the Viking Ship #7018. That is a 2005 set. It retailed for $50, but I got it on ebay for $42.00, including shipping - not 50% off, but a good deal. Then I checked Target. Their shelves were pretty sparse. Finally I went to the LEGO brand store. There shelves were not looking so over stuffed either. They were all out of the Duplo Deluxe Train Set #3772 ($90, 2005), but they still had a few Duplo Starter Train Sets #3771 ($50, 2005), so I got one of those. I'm not sure I knew just how interested I was in 2005 sets until I started writing this comment. I also saw LEGO City Harbor, $90, 2007 at Fred Meyer (a discount department store). That is one that I'm hoping to snatch up at a significant discount after Christmas because I'm pretty sure they don't normally stock that set or any set that expensive. I think they will want it off their shelves. I'm hoping for a repeat of last year's Batmobile triumph. Anyway, I appreciated so much everyone's comments here, I thought I would share my little adventure.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 22 Dec 2007 18:49

Imperial Impersonation is a real set?

Posted by sabpol in United States, 22 Dec 2007 19:52

At the rate that LEGO sets have been flying off the shelves these past weeks, I don't see how there will be any left to mark down at year-end. I had to go to 3 different Target stores before I found the Krusty Krab (3825), and there were only 2 boxes left of it when I did find a Target that had it.

The LEGO shelves were almost bare, the emptiest I had ever seen them, in all 3 stores. I think LEGO company is going to have a record year this year (2007).

The lego shelves are as poorly stocked as ever at Wal-Mart. The only Lego sets remaining were a couple copies of the Chum-Bucket. Maybe target is better stocked.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 22 Dec 2007 22:25

Walmart like never has anything!

And Imperial Impersonation is just a rumored set, tuskinvader, but I have a strong feeling that it won't be any more.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 22 Dec 2007 22:40

Hey, dekarxp, when you told us about those new summer '08 sets, how come you didn't mention anything about the AAT?

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 22 Dec 2007 23:14

Sorry milacol for the delay. She likes all the spundgebob sets.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 22 Dec 2007 23:15

Look in the starwars.com databanck.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 23 Dec 2007 07:23

The Magna Droid Starfighter is General Greviouses Bodygaurds ship.

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 23 Dec 2007 08:23

littlelegoluke, go to wookieepedia.com and search the names of them there. I already have and I found a multitude of information on all of them. This is a great site and it is basically the same as wikipedia but its star wars.In case you dont feel like going to all that trouble, the tie defender is a droid starfighter used by the empire. I believe it was in the lego tie collection. The v-19 torrent was the predecessor to the v-wing and was known to be a fast, agile craft. The fighter tank tx 130s is also known as a saber class fighter tank and it was often used as a ground based assult vehicle by clones and jedis. Again, if you want more information, wookieepedia is a great site to get it from.

Thanks ill check it out

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 23 Dec 2007 21:30

Hey, dekarxp, when you went to eurobricks and found out about those sets, did you find out anything about a set called "Sharp Spiral." I do not know its item number.

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 23 Dec 2007 22:47

RE:Hey, dekarxp, when you went to eurobricks and found out about those sets, did you find out anything about a set called "Sharp Spiral." I do not know its item number.

Okay...no nothing on the AAT. " Sharp Spiral "? I have not heard anything on these sets...But i'll keep you updated on the the LSW '08 summer sets. I think those sets that I listed are going to come out, but it has not been confirmed yet but most likely yeah. The prices though are not OFFICIAL. There just a round up numbers(The prices were given by austrailian listed).

So hopefully when JAN begings or ends we might recive official sets and pics too! :)

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 23 Dec 2007 23:03

7677 has no set...this could mean it was...cancled?...or will it be confirmed later on?

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 23 Dec 2007 23:07

Oh, ya. You didn't mention anything about a 7677. Oh, and by the way, thanks dekarxp.

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 24 Dec 2007 04:27

The republic gunship apparently has a Ki-Adi-Mundi minifig!

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 24 Dec 2007 05:33

On your first comment, leggodt, I thought the rebel hoth base went to quickly. I was hoping for it for christmas... oh well. Theres so, so much more to life than lego.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 24 Dec 2007 07:54

The Magna Droid Starfighter has general griviouses bodygaurd

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 24 Dec 2007 08:19

Why thank you, tuskinvader, for stating the obvious. I think everyone else in this forum had already figured out that it would come with a magnagaurd. The sharp spiral would be awesome to have in lego.(for those who don't know, I am referring to saessee tiin's starfighter).

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 24 Dec 2007 09:37

so about a month ago when i went on wikipedia i was right about the rep gunsihp with 8 clones 3 pilots 2 star corps troopers and a ki adi mundi?

Posted by bmwlego in United States, 24 Dec 2007 10:00

Jason
I like your style. I too have been off looking for marked down LEGO. I purchased 2 sets from Big Lots (Revvin Riders and the Dinosaur Creator set). Both of these sets retail for 20 bucks and I got them for 10 bucks each. I hear what you are saying about the sterilite containers. They are what I use for my LEGO storage.
TJ Maxx surprised me. They had many of the 06 Batman sets (Batcave 60, Batwing 30, Arhkam 40). I can now add TJ Maxx and Big Lots to my haunts for LEGO clearance. I was at Target yesterday and could only laugh at their stock. They were nearly wiped out. Amazing. I hope they have more 07's in their possession so that I can buy them at a mark down. I have off for the next week and a half so I will be hunting for clearance deals.

I must correct myself. I WON'T be hunting for any deals. I have all of the 07 sets I want and I am getting many sets for the holiday tomorrow. Enough is enough! Sometimes we get caught up in accumulating as much as we can while ignoring what we have. I can't wait to take my sterilite carts out of the closet and start building MOC's!

I found pictures of the new SW clones for 2008!!!!! Does anyone want to know where to see them?

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 24 Dec 2007 10:23

Camander cody-Yes where are they. Sith assasin-how much would that be with all the mini figs. Because 14 minifigs and a republic gunship cant be cheap. I was hopeing for some sets form the yuzzun vong(I know my spellings wrong)That would have been cool. What do you all think?

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 24 Dec 2007 10:27

(What I believe to be) The 2008 clones are at http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=155019

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 24 Dec 2007 10:28

Check them out!

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 24 Dec 2007 11:23

Those look like painted, customized versions of episode 2 clones. I don't think they are official.

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 24 Dec 2007 11:28

They don't look painted to me. They look printed!

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 24 Dec 2007 11:47

Where did the endor set rumour come from?

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 24 Dec 2007 12:14

Just clones:( i was hopein for vehicles. idk where the endor set impirial impersanation came from but i hope they make it.

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 24 Dec 2007 14:37

those clones just look like customized them like i do alot

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 24 Dec 2007 14:41

i agree with sith assssin

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 24 Dec 2007 19:00

I can never tell if clones are painted or printed, but I bet those clones are not official.

And the "endor set" rumor started on wikipedia. So, keep on your toes.

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 24 Dec 2007 19:16

ha i found proof that those clone were painted!! look what i found. i a such a lego geek.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 24 Dec 2007 20:09

Well, actually the one of the clone pilot(the clone WITHOUT the point on the top of his helmet) looks PRINTED! But the other ones looks painted.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 24 Dec 2007 20:58

Sith assassin how long did it take you to find that?

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 24 Dec 2007 21:15

like 2 minutes im on ebay all the time and i thought i saw that same commander neyo before.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 24 Dec 2007 22:49

oh just wondering.

Question: when are lego sets released other than now and summer are there other dates?

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 25 Dec 2007 08:49

Sorry, Leggodt, but what was the minifigure list for that set?
That would be a clue as to what the set was... ...it could even be the imperial star ship the rebels go to endor in!

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 25 Dec 2007 10:03

We have talked about this in numerous posts it is the star ship the rebles come to endor on. it includes han, luke, liea, chewie and endor reble tropers as its minifigures.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 25 Dec 2007 10:21

Yes, that's it littlelegoluke. But don't forget that han, leia, and luke are all in their endor uniform. ;)

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 25 Dec 2007 12:41

Sounds like a pretty cool set! Again, noi c3p0! He was on the ship aswell! Wonder what the price is!

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 25 Dec 2007 13:20

Probaly pretty expensive. Other impiriel ships like this one were pretty expensive plus there is lots of minifigs some pretty rare. I am guessing any where form 50 to 100 dollers depending on the amount of pieces. But i will still buy it if it is made. I own Imperial inspection and i like the ship so this one will be cool to add to my collection.

Now my question again from before when are legos released othe then winter and summer?

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 25 Dec 2007 13:23

legoguysw c3po is not included neither is r2 if they included alll the minifigs there it would be very expensive. Look at Jabbas sail barge for example. no c3po no chewie.

Sorry for the double post:(

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 26 Dec 2007 19:19

Ya, those two droids are always in sets. If you don't have them yet, then........And my best bet is that it is a $50 set.

Posted by h3ll_f1r3, 26 Dec 2007 19:30

Dang..... no wonder my local Target was bone dry. Maybe TRU is still stocked?

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 27 Dec 2007 20:42

Okay LSW summer '08 sets updates:

7673 Magna Droid Fighter
7674 V-19 Torrent,
7675 AT-TE
7676 Republic Gunship
7678 Tie Defender or 7678 Droid Gunship
7679 Fighter Tank TX 130S
7680 Twilight
7681 Homing Spider Droid

Got it from eurobricks.com

To much confusion now...

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 27 Dec 2007 20:56

Oh and it seems to be that 7681 and 7680 are TRU exclusives.

Check it out this link for some kinda prof:

http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/euroforum/index.php?showtopic=12376&st=150&p=235073&#entry235073

I'm confused. O_O?

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 27 Dec 2007 21:18

I don't know weird huh? Maybe the twilight dosen't exsist at all.Lego confuses us sometimes >:(

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 27 Dec 2007 23:16

So, is the new AT-TE motorized? Do we know yet? And if it is, I hope it is an upgrade to that at-at "wobbler" piece of junk.

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 27 Dec 2007 23:29

Dunno yet.Since the AT-AT was crappy, they might not adjusted too the AT-TE.So Leggodt...what'da you think about the new list?Ohhhh...I went to TRU and saw EXO-FORCE 2008,creator 2008,and bionicle 2008.I bought kopaka nuva ^_^

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 27 Dec 2007 23:46

I think the new '08 set list is good, but some of the sets sound kinda weird. And we still don't know about the 7677? Bummer. Can't wait to get some pics of those new sets! :)

And I'm sure LEGO will make further improvements on the star wars power function system. I sure hope they do. ;)

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 28 Dec 2007 00:17

Last year's summer '07...what time did we get the pics?

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 28 Dec 2007 04:47

Look, Leggodt, c3p0 was in nearly all the sets in 1999 to 2004. He is only in expensive sets now.

Posted by legolover94 in New Zealand, 28 Dec 2007 16:06

Hear are some other awesome sets:

10184 Town Plan
10185 Green Grocer
10186 General Grievous
10187 Volkswagen Beetle
10188 SW Death Star
10189 Taj Mahal

they sound pretty cool!

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 28 Dec 2007 16:08

They've been mentioned before! lol :)

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 28 Dec 2007 16:15

If anyone doesn't like those Lego Clone pictures found earlier, perhaps the pics on this page might give you ideas about more Clone Troopers to be made in the future:

Soz for the long address!

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 28 Dec 2007 18:20

What exactly is twilight and what is droid gunship

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 28 Dec 2007 18:26

Look, legoguysw, I don't think that C3PO and R2-D2 are a big deal 'cause they have appeared in over half of the star wars sets released so far. I own about four C3PO and six R2 minifigs.

And I don't buy expensive sets that have those two droids in it just for those two droids. This should solve your little problem: LEGO is probably not selling those figs anymore because LEGO is probably sick of making them so much.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 28 Dec 2007 18:29

Wookiepedia littlelegoluke, wookiepedia.

And personally legoguysw, I am sick of getting those two figs so much!

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 28 Dec 2007 19:29

Hey, guys I found this new website that has some info on those new 2008 sets that dekarxp told us about. The site is called kiddiwinks.com. I don't have an exact link, so you are gona have to find things on your own on that site. Sorry.

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 28 Dec 2007 20:07

Yeah I know that website. That new list I put is from kiddiwinks...do you think that the website is really giving us the OFFICIAL sets ???

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 28 Dec 2007 21:13

Um, dekarxp, you said that you found those sets on eurobricks.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 28 Dec 2007 21:15

Well, what about that other thing? Huh redfox?

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 28 Dec 2007 21:52

From eurobricks to kiddiwinks...

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 28 Dec 2007 22:14

I don't understand. You said that you got those sets eurobricks, and now you're saying that you got them from kiddiwinks. Make up your mind!

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 28 Dec 2007 22:32

Is everyone on brickset so rough?

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 28 Dec 2007 22:45

Well, did you get that list from eurobricks or kiddiwinks? I just want to know. I'm not tryin' to be rough.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 28 Dec 2007 22:50

Droid gunship has quite about written about it.
Here is the link to it

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Droid_gunship

and for twilight

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Twilight

well at least i now know what they are.

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 28 Dec 2007 22:57

First I went to eurobricks and read the tread which took me to kiddiwinks.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 28 Dec 2007 23:01

Oh, okay. Thank you for clearing that up. Sorry if I was rude earlier. :)

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 28 Dec 2007 23:42

Well Leggodt what is exactly twilight (not much info on wookiepedia) and what would the set include?

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 29 Dec 2007 00:16

Another find similar to my early posts:

Star Wars
7667 Imperial Dropship™
7668 Rebel Scout Speeder™
7669 Anakin's Jedi Starfighter™
7670 Hailfire Droid & Spider Droid™
7671 AT-AP Walker™
7672 Rogue Shadow™
7673 MagnaGuard Starfighter™
7674 V-19 Torrent™
7675 AT-TE Walker™
7676 Republic Attack Gunship™ (PROMO)
7678 Droid Gunship™
(PROMO)
7679 Fighter Tank TX130S (Promo)
7680 The Twilight™ (TRU)
7681 Homing Spider Droid (TRU)
10186 General Grievous™
10188 Death Star™
???? Mini TIE-Fighter
???? Mini Snowspeeder

All the sets I quess have been found.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 29 Dec 2007 00:38

It's okay redfox. And twilight.....hmmm.....I don't know much about Ferius Olin or anything really in that particular area of star wars. Sorry, I'm not the star wars whiz that I used to be. But I think that redfox might know a few things about twilight. My biggest guess is that this set comes with a Ferius Olin minifig. But that's only a guess.

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 29 Dec 2007 05:57

I guess that PROMO means a promotion, a free set?, and TRU means toys 'r' us only.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 29 Dec 2007 10:22

Finaly,my TRUs has 2008 sets.So I bought Rebel scout speeder,Moatercycle chase,Anikans clone wars starfighter, and Race For the Stolen Treasure. They didnt have the spider droid and Temple escape sets.

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 29 Dec 2007 13:32

Guys,guys,guys!!!!!!! I found 3 pics of:

7673 MagnaGuard Starfighter

7674 V-19 Torrent and AT-TE:

At eurobricks:http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/euroforum/index.php?showtopic=11428&st=795&p=236006&#entry236006

AT_TE looks...WOW!!!Hope you enjoy the pics! :)

Thank you for the info on twilight.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 29 Dec 2007 14:00

The picts look great but no magna guard on magna gaurd starfighter?

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 29 Dec 2007 16:54

great pics thanx a lot

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 29 Dec 2007 16:57

Look! At the bottom of the AT TE, in the minifig list one of them is Anakin Skywalker and another is Asaka!

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 29 Dec 2007 17:05

whos Asaka? did anyone notice the blue stap with the AT-TE? looks weird, a blue stap.

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 29 Dec 2007 17:15

Asoka is a padawan-turned commander in the Clone Wars, Sith assassin. On the AT-TE minifig list it says there are 2 clone troopers, another Anakin, Asoka and the name of an ARC Trooper! :) Ignore the shaded areas on the minifig lists on all the sets. There are obviously not going to be 2 Super BDs on the Magnadroid starfighter, and you can already see an Ep 2 Clone on top of the AT-TE!!!

I don't like the look of the V-19 Torrent. It looks like a reverse Imperial ship from Ep 5, just with a clone in it and different colours. The MagDroid ship looks like it's in its early stages, I hope it's not like that at launch! The AT-TE is a MUST - HAVE for me. Does anyone agree that the new box art is better..... or worse?

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 29 Dec 2007 17:16

Maybe there'll be a minifig of my name soon!

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 29 Dec 2007 18:13

Box art is wierd and idk about the blue stap never heard of a blue one? I wonder what Anakin this will be maybe a new one. I agree with comannder cody on that i must have the AT-TE. I like the V-19 Torrent. But i thing the magna droid starfighter is wierd looking. Iv'e never heard of Asoka before but he sounds cool. I cant wait for pictures of the gunship and homeing spider droid. And I wonder what will be in twilight other than Fereus Olin. Does anyone Know?

Posted by deluckybrick in United States, 29 Dec 2007 18:21

The MagnaGuard starfighter is not for them, it is exactly looking like the Utapaun P-38 fighter. If you want an example pic, check out

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/P-38

I think it is phony, unless Lego bends the SW rules again.

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 29 Dec 2007 18:44

thanx cody i jut went to wikipedia and asoka was a female jedi padawan in the clone wars and is the same speices as shaak ti

Posted by SillyQuack in United States, 29 Dec 2007 18:46

Well, the look of the at-te seems that it will have a cool blue guy and other cool ones.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 29 Dec 2007 19:53

I looked around and no sign on any website i could find about a blue STAP. What minifigs do you think the magnadroid starfighter would include if it is not a phony.
What are the star wars rules any way deluckybrick.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 29 Dec 2007 21:02

Wheres the last picture for River Duel set?

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 30 Dec 2007 01:21

Hey, dekarxp, why don't let Huw know about these new pics, and maybe he'll upload them to brickset. Unless these pics are phony. /:|

Posted by legolover94 in New Zealand, 30 Dec 2007 02:06

At the top of the first pic it says preliminary. So it doesn't mean its the real set.

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 30 Dec 2007 02:21

Preliminary means that it is the real set but it's just has fake things in it like the magna fighter is suppose to have the magna droids right? And you could bareley see the outline is a super battle droid not a magna droids. There shadowed up because these pics are real but they are'nt gonna give us the complete real set...so anyway there is MORE than 50% that these are real so I quess we can celebrate.Leggodt, i'm going to tell huw about the pics and let's see what he/she says.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 30 Dec 2007 17:05

Hey,theres a new theme in the browse section called Agents. It seems to be a new spy theme.Does anyone know anything about it.

Posted by smiley905 in Canada, 30 Dec 2007 19:36

i would also like to know about the agents, it might be good

Posted by blowfish2, 30 Dec 2007 19:58

Today, I found a couple of Phantoka in Toys "R" Us. Yes, I didn't say TRU because if someone's new to this, they might not know what that means.

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 30 Dec 2007 20:53

I went to my wal*mart and found all 2008 lego sets. ^_^

Posted by deluckybrick in United States, 30 Dec 2007 21:03

littlelegoluke, I'm talking about the canon that they have. Lego still modifies colors and things like that from it. That could explain the blue STAP.

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 31 Dec 2007 01:31

The blue STAP does exsist...if you look closely at the sneak peek of the clone wars, it shows anikin jumping one-by-one on a STAP which the STAP looks blue.

Posted by jon11380 in United Kingdom, 31 Dec 2007 09:18

Has any body heard anything of any factory sets for 2008. The hobby train and market square were briliant sets from 2007. It would be good if lego kept this theme up along with standard city/town sets.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 31 Dec 2007 11:03

Oh thank you dekarxp. I was kind of hoping for a set with yoda this year hes one of the figs i dont got

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 31 Dec 2007 11:48

Found a link here: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/
It has a picture of an agent set, plus city and creator sets.

Where?

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 31 Dec 2007 15:05

Ooops. the link doesn't work. Copy and paste it again, then click frontpage news, then 'new preliminary city/creator/star wars pictures', or something like that.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 31 Dec 2007 19:32

I like the city boat but the agents look kind of weird but not a great picture.

Can you give us a link littlelegoluke?

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 01 Jan 2008 15:50

Well, actually I searched for a Sharkhead Gunship and the results included a MOC instruction booklet home-made, not a real model!!!

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 01 Jan 2008 15:52

no no. im on ebay all the time and the shark (which is accually a rancor) reublic gunship is just a custom. it has been selling for $400

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 01 Jan 2008 16:45

The Shark(or rancor?) gunship on ebay is not a real set; it's one of those "Joe's Custom Creation" things.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 01 Jan 2008 16:47

And I've seen it before. Sorry for the double post.

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 01 Jan 2008 17:05

you are correct leggodt, it is not a real set it is a custom.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 01 Jan 2008 17:27

Ya, but it would be cool if the 7676 Gunship was the shark version. I sure hope it is. :)

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 01 Jan 2008 19:21

I dont i just want a normal gunship!!!

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 01 Jan 2008 19:41

either is fine with me. rancor gunship = a chance for me to make myself the munnalist 10. regular = just a really cool transport

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 01 Jan 2008 20:40

I walked down to my local TRU,(yes im that close).and 2008 sets were there! But what puzzeld me was that there was no trace of sets 7670 and 7671.When I asked they said that that was all they had.So ether TRU is not going to produce those sets or..............

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 01 Jan 2008 20:54

Don't worry, tuskinvader, stores have shortages like that all the time. I'm sure TRU will re-stock them soon. :)

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 01 Jan 2008 20:57

And I agree with sith assassin on the gunship detail. I was just sayin' that a change would be nice is all. :)

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 01 Jan 2008 21:02

No,I mean there wasent even room on the shelf for them.AND THERE WERE NO 2007 SETS.THEY WERE IN THE ON SALE BASKET.sorry for the capital problem.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 01 Jan 2008 21:12

Ummmm................what are you talkin' about? You just said that TRU doesn't have them and that TRU may not produce them anymore. WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH WHETHER OR NOT THERE IS ROOM ON A SHELF?!!!! Your....your confusing me. >:(

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 02 Jan 2008 11:30

I think he means they were not being sold there there was no lable for were it should be on the shelf. But leggodt is right confusing. the only reason i know is same thing happened to me. But TRU may not produce them.............idk what that means?

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 02 Jan 2008 20:35

Posted by dekarxp in United States, 03 Jan 2008 00:10

Yeah it looks cool but I rather go with the AT-TE,V-19 Torrent, magnagaurd starfighter, or the TX tank which not yet confirmed for release.

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 03 Jan 2008 08:50

The Ploo Koon Figure is gonna be a waste like General Grevious.

Posted by littlelegoluke in United States, 03 Jan 2008 12:12

Why do you say that Tuskinvader?

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 03 Jan 2008 16:35

Exuse me? Do you own a Plo Koon minifig? Most likely not. So, how can you say that a rare minifig like that is a waste? HUUUUUUUUH, TUSKINVADER!!!!! >:(

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 03 Jan 2008 17:48

Well lets look at the possibilitys,General Grevous has the same head as Plo Koon. His head is most likly to be a tan general grevous head, and no brown!

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 03 Jan 2008 17:52

do you even know who plo koon is?

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 03 Jan 2008 17:52

Excuse me? /:|

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 04 Jan 2008 00:54

Never mind. Hey guys! I found a pic of a Tie Defender. Now, I'm not sure that this is a pic of the OFFICIAL set, but this is what a Tie Defender looks like with Legos. Here's the link:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=355269

It looks pretty similar to previous ties, but it's a nice model I guess.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 04 Jan 2008 01:07

And for those of you who don't know what a Fighter Tank TX 130S is or looks like in legos here's a link:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=194285

I have waited so long for LEGO to make a model of that vehicle into a set, And now they are! WHOO HOO!!!

Posted by legolover94 in New Zealand, 04 Jan 2008 02:58

The link above doesn't work.

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 04 Jan 2008 07:50

yeh the tx 130 link doesnt work. oh and the tie defender it looks just like the tie phantom custom i saw on ebay about a week ago.

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 04 Jan 2008 10:26

Can you change your colour?

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 04 Jan 2008 15:18

Yeah, why are my posts showing as pink? :/

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 04 Jan 2008 16:03

Sweet

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 04 Jan 2008 16:19

That's strange. I went to the search engine on brickshelf and typed in "7679 Fighter Tank TX 130S" and it turned up a picture or series of pictures of that model. And so, I copied the link that was listed up above and posted a comment with that link in it. I don't quite understand though why it doesn't work, 'cause it doesn't work for me either.

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 04 Jan 2008 22:12

leggodt can you please get the correct tx-130 link.

Posted by Leggodt94 in United States, 04 Jan 2008 23:42

Alright, here is the correct link. If this doesn't work, then I don't know what to do. And remember, this isn't a pic of the actual set; it's a pic of a lego Fighter Tank TX 130S. Anyways, here's the link:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1897248

I hope you enjoy the pic.

Posted by sith assassin in United States, 05 Jan 2008 09:08

i thought the first link was the real set, but its a fake one. i like it though and if it was the real one i'd buy it.

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 06 Jan 2008 10:49

awesome model, looks great but I doubt it s an official set.

Posted by Commander-Cody in United Kingdom, 06 Jan 2008 13:03

Sweet Tuskinvader (although I had noticed before you posted the info on the new products) Talk about these pics in the 2008 sets forum which has a picture of 'fierce creatures' set on it.

Posted by millacol88 in Canada, 08 Jan 2008 06:50

ok, if you look closely at the bottom right corner of the piture of the box of the magna droidtarfighter you can clearly see the word magna printed in capital letters, followed by a word not capitalised that could be either droid or gaurd. Since these words are printed right under the sillhouettes of the minifigs, then yes it will come with magna gaurds. It most likele shows super battle droids so as not to reveal what the magnagaurds look like. They did the exact same thing with the new gunship, above the jedi's names, it shows a clone trooper. The starfighter will definately come with magna gaurds.

Posted by legoguysw in United Kingdom, 08 Jan 2008 12:44

Are Magna Guards basically General Grivious Body guards?

Posted by Tuskinvader in United States, 09 Jan 2008 21:39

Me and a few other members were just snowballing ideas for a lego fansite. Not that brickset isnt great but a few memebers want to try something different. Just wanted to know if you wanted to help with ideas. sorry everyone for being off topic! If you wanna reply do it by another email, this is Huws site.

I'll be sure to do that if I come up with any ideas, Commander Fox. Sorry for making you blab that out loud. Like I said my e-mailing system is wacked out. Let's get back on topic, before we get into trouble. ;)
