LEGOshop.com is offering a free Toy Story 3 poster with the purchase of any "LEGO Brand Toy Story product" from LEGOshop.com and brand stores. This offer is valid from 13th to 20th June 2010. (Thank you to Brickset member jamonlego for that news)

We received reports overnight that the 10213 Space Shuttle is now available for order from LEGOshop.com in the US and UK, however when I checked just now it is 'Coming soon 22nd July 2010' in the USA and 'not available in this country' in the UK. Did some of you get lucky and manage to place and order? -- Huw

Update: It's even appeared in the UK product feed from LEGO, but you still can't order it!)

S@H in the US is advertising a free Toy Story "activity book" with the purchase of a Toy Story product. Is it the same thing as the poster?

Posted by keithkram in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 02:59

by the way, have just ordered 3 lots of shuttle adventure, its available in the uk to buy now.

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 04:19

@fyparr, I believe the activity book is the US offer and the poster is available everywhere else.

@keith, you answered my question before I posted it. It's no longer available :-(

Posted by MattDawson in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 04:28

When I put my order in on Saturday, it was marked "available". Didn't order one though.

The set, though appeals, isn't much use to me. That's my excuse. Of course it hasn't anything to do with not enough room ;)

Posted by DrDaveWatford in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 06:05

Hmmm - when I do a search for the shuttle on UK shop@home it shows as available, but when I click on it I get the dreaded "Sorry, item is not available in this country: United Kingdom." message.....

Posted by Alexdiazb in France, 14 Jun 2010 06:38

Hey!! I ordered mine yesterday. In Germany is available. Should be in my hands this week. :D Will send you pics and more when i get it :D.

Cheers,

Alex

PS: Just called Lego.Shop at home because actually now it appears as not available for Germany :S But they received my order and everything should be fine...Weird...Maybe they were out of stock very quickly?

I placed and order this morning for the Shuttle in the UK, it was in 'Hard to find and exclusives', even the label had changed from 'coming in July' to 'Avaliable now'. I got a confirmation number but havent had a confirmation email yet. Ill let you know

Posted by atkinsar in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 07:47

To anyone who has ordered this in the UK, what was the price?

Posted by timberlake29 in United States, 14 Jun 2010 07:53

£79.99 was the price, interestingly when i ordered it I got a notice saying i had qualified for a free Toy Story poster!!!!!! ?, something may have been wrong this moring. I just checked my order online, still showing as 'processing'

Posted by keithkram in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 08:15

I placed my order and have not had an acknowledgement, phoned lego and they cant find my order, they said they had stock, so tried to order another one and they said they could not process the order, so something is wrong with their system, who knows if i will actually get the sets? They have promised to phone me back.

btw i got told i was getting the toy story poster as well. ?

Posted by keithkram in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 08:26

i was told i will not be getting the ones i ordered, it was listed by mistake, hence no order acknowledgement, was told it will be available on 28th June.

Posted by DrDaveWatford in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 08:44

Sorry to hear that, Keith, although I did suspect it would be the outcome.

Still, only a couple of weeks to wait. I haven't looked forward to a set as much since Grand Emporium !

The dates are definitely all over the place. Our Lego Store lists the release date as 6/28. Shop.Lego.Com previously listed the release as 6/19 but now it lists the release as 7/22. :o(

Posted by DrathMaul1997 in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 09:19

is there a picture of the poster?

Posted by timberlake29 in United States, 14 Jun 2010 09:30

Go to Lego uk and put 10213 in the search box, shows as avaliable

Posted by birgoyle in Australia, 14 Jun 2010 09:43

In Australia I checked the shuttle, it was available for maybe $250, but then 4 hours later, NOT available to Australia....... Was very weird... I was going back to order it...
Shouldn't be too much longer

Posted by Huw in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 11:23

@timberlake29, yes it does but then click on the picture and you'll get 'not available'. If you add to your cart you get a 'You have exceeded the maximum number allowed for this item. No more of this item can be added' message!

Posted by brickmatt in United States, 14 Jun 2010 11:40

I hadn't been checking on it since I don't have the extra budget for it right now. I did check it just now, though, and it still lists 7/22 as the release date. There is a neat little video about the shuttle's design process and features.

UPDATE: after posting this, I noticed that the release date is 7/22 while the photo says "Available June 2010"

According to the July US Brand store calender, the Shuttle Adventure set is to be released in the U.S. on July 1st. ;)

Posted by mokey2345 in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 13:57

for some strange reason i found the space shuttle and i looked at my cart and it said 1 item in cart and it was the shuttle ?

Posted by jamzee44 in United Kingdom, 14 Jun 2010 14:01

I've been keeping an eye daily on the Shuttle Adventure (in UK). It was at "Available Now" on Saturday night (when England were playing!) for £79.99 so I ordered it with other items and the order appeared to go through fine. Today, I called Lego to check what was happening because the Shuttle was not showing in with my other "shipped" items - a very helpful guy there said the stock turned up over the weekend but hadn't been put on their system but was being sorted today. Later in the afternoon I noted the Shuttle had been removed from the website completely but is back now showing as available from end of July. My order for it shows as being on "backorder". All very strange and I'm not sure exactly if I'll get it soon or not but I'm sure it will work out ok!!

Posted by d00dz in Australia, 14 Jun 2010 20:47

I ordered on 13 Jun 2010. When it said avaliable. I got acknowledgement and my order status says "In Process". Hope I get it!

Posted by Zacherano in United States, 14 Jun 2010 21:32

I have just made an order today including the green army men pack, a Buzz Lightyear keychain, and the Grand Emporium, among other selections including five more collectable minifigures.

@d00dz Good luck :-)

Just got email from Lego saying...
Oh well I'll just have to wait until it ships end of June. At least they didn't cancel my order.

"Dear LEGO fan,

Many thanks for your LEGO order.

Due to an error on our website we are not able to ship the shuttle 10231 just yet. If you have ordered other items as well, then these will be shipped straightaway, and item 10213 will be shipped end of June at no further shipping costs.

We realise that this is a long time to wait for your product and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused to you and your family. We would like to thank you for your patience.

Please get in touch if you have any queries about your order or if there is anything else we can be of help with. It's free to call our experts on 00800 5346 2222 (Monday to Friday, 9am - 8pm).

Kind regards,
Your LEGO Shop at Home team"

How sad :(

Posted by timberlake29 in United States, 16 Jun 2010 15:22

Well ive had the 'Due to an error' shuttle email today, however the European version of the same email that d00dz has listed that the order has just been cancelled. As i ordered other items with this it means another £5.95 postage on top of the £79.99, bit unfair i think as it was their error. Seems you are treated differently in Aus.

Oh well, kind of saw it coming

Strange. I bought some TS sets at the Downtown Disney branch in Anaheim and didnt get it. Either i forgot to ask or they ran out. now ill never know ;(
