The technic sets look really good and most of them aren't as much as I fiirst thought
Bike £34.99 , Not realy my thing
Mobile Crane £74.99 , A nice addition , The price is really good , I thought it would be £90

Container truck £49.99 , Loverly set , the piece count is one the best I have seen for ages 684 ish , I thought it would actually cost as much as £60

Then the motorized Excavator , I love it and for £140 it is money well spent , the price is very good in the uk

Meanwhile the games look really nice , especially the Hp one and the orient bazaar and as they too are not too pricey may also find themselves on my wish list .

Hero factory though , Quite expensive , £8 a hero , A bit much for jusr 16-19 pieces [nearly 50p a piece] But the dropship is good as it is only £35 which I expected to cost £45. Still I have no time for this theme that destroyed bionicle .

I can't find the Hero Factory sets on the online LEGO shop (USA).

@Murdoch17: Me Niether! Is This Just for UK?

*smacks head* If only I hadn't spent so much at brickworld . . . Well, seeing as how the technic sets aren't here in the US yet, I may be able to save up enough to get the Motor bike and container truck. (it'll take a little longer to get the excavator . . .)

Well the Lego Star wars set that was introduced a couple weeks back is under the Exclusives section. Looks like it'll be out in September: http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=10212&cn=245&d=100

@webcam09:
Thanks for those youtube links. Those sw set commercials look great! Can't wait for those sets.

Posted by brickmatt in United States, 01 Jul 2010 18:07

I didn't see any of the sets in question on lego.com. The Architecture series White House is available though, for $49.99. http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=21006&cn=627&d=70

The Star Wars sets are available for Purchase at the Toys"R"us Website.

Posted by Wiseman_2 in United Kingdom, 01 Jul 2010 18:39

Those prices for the Technic sets are pretty good considering recent years, like the Hauler from 2009 which had less to it than the Container Truck does and cost £52.99. The Excavator is also really good, considering it has about £70 of Power Functions parts in it; it was pretty much an instant buy, so it's a good thing I've been saving :)

cant wait for the motorized excavator to be released on US lego site

At our local Legostore, in Chandler AZ we were told by the manager that the new Star Wars sets will be released in October.

Posted by ceroknight in Canada, 02 Jul 2010 01:04

The Starwars sets are coming close to my birthday :-]
TRU Can has all HF products except the six main heroes (very overpriced). Also has the SW sets except the turbo tank. However both the HF and the SW sets are 'out of stock' but i think they never were and will be soon

Is it just me, or did anybody else think Lego had done a Kermit kit, after spotting the picture for this news item? I was almost in Lego heaven! Lego plus Muppets = Legomatt Bankrupt. lol.

What will you get in August

Posted by Darren Coppinger in Ireland, 02 Jul 2010 06:19

I Prefer Bionicle To Hero Factory. Technic sets are excellent as usual. Atlantis sets are outstanding saw them in a TRU in Spain. I would have bought them if I had more room in my suitcase *sigh*. The new star wars sets were there too.

Posted by joetheman in United States, 02 Jul 2010 07:35

my local TRU has all the sets for the rest of the year except the starwars sets. there is also a sale for all lego products excluding starwars sets buy 1 get 1 50% off.

Posted by Funnguston in United States, 02 Jul 2010 08:56

On the ToysRUs website, the Hero factory sets are labeled as "LEGO Bionicle Hero Factory"

Posted by mkoesel in United States, 02 Jul 2010 11:48

joetheman, are you saying you've seen both the trains and the late-2010 Technic sets at TRU? As of earlier this week none of those were there in my area. With the sale going on, I'd love to pair up the more expensive Technic and train sets.

Posted by ShatteredGnome in United States, 02 Jul 2010 13:56

TRU has the Star Wars AT-AT listed for $109.99 on their website but that was it. The set is 'out of stock' though. I just noticed the han solo fig is new, at least the torso.

Posted by TheLEGOmaniac in Denmark, 04 Jul 2010 16:21

I saw Hoth Wampa Cave, Plo Koon's starfighter, Clone Turbo Tank and Grievous' starfighter in a local store yesterday.

Posted by DrathMaul1997 in United Kingdom, 05 Jul 2010 07:24

No star wars yet? how sad :(
Hey, Tesco has the lego harry potter game!

Posted by DSRsoc in United States, 05 Jul 2010 17:15

Does anyone know if set 3222 Helicopter and Limousine is going to be available on the US legoshop website? It's available on the UK website already....

Posted by swlego@hf in United States, 05 Jul 2010 18:28

I found Hero Factory at UK legoshop, but not USA... but found all the HF heroes at my local Toy's R Us!
