I picked up the City Transport yesterday. I'm hoping to build it tomorrow. I wish it was on sale in my country because the price was steep.

TRU online in UK has 7848 for a rip off £39.99 thats twice the price of 3221, I think I will wait for it to be available on line from lego

Lucky! I wish the US TRU stores had sales like this. BOGO 50% is only useful if you actually want/can afford two sets. I'd rather see some 20-25% off sales mixed in.

8404 is listed on UK Toysrus.co.uk for £99!!! - AND a small bag of Hula-Hoops in WHSmiths is 70p!!! What's going on?

And in Sweden, 8404 is nowhere to find. Went by TrU today, they don't seem to stock TrU-models. So come on Lego, sell them at least through the web-shop, this is not good for us collectors. :(

I know this sounds stupid, but could someone help explain how you buy from a foreign Amazon site? Whenever i've attempted to purchase from a non-uk amazon, i've usually found myself directed back to the UK one. Do i have to set up an account for every different amazon site? and how does it affect payment, i.e. a uk card on, say, amazon.fr? If the answer is long, detailed and a bit boring, feel free to message the answer to my profile. :o)
oops... just realised we're talking about TRU. Well, people have mentioned buying from foreign amazons before, so a 101 would still be nice... :o)

@rebelarmy - #8404 has been available from Toys'r'Us in the UK for at least a few days; I've seen it in a couple of different TRUs. The bad news is the price, £99.99, which is, I believe, £20 more than the Lego stores (on- & off-line) will be doing it for, once they get around to listing it :-(
