My Local Walmart and Targets are bare-bones right now... but both are under re-construction.

I guess I will have to start frequenting other stores. Did you find the Family House at a normal Target or Target Greatland/SuperTarget?

I found the City Public Transport set at my local TRU store. There were only 2 on the shelf and I got one of them. It looked like they had just restocked the entire Lego section with new stock (all the new Star Wars sets). I picked it up because I had tried multiple times on their website to order it and when I added it to my cart, they automatically "adjusted" the quantity (to zero) to reflect stock levels. So if my local store was any indication, they aren't dedicating much shelf space to this set or getting many of them in stock.

I live in Phoenix, AZ.

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering why I never saw the Landspeeder at Target and TRU (because I rarely go to WM) so I just thought it was out of stock or discontinued.

I can confirm that Family house was at a Target and City Transport at a TRU on the West Coast.

Add to the Walmart list: 7591 Construct-a-Zurg, 3222 helicopter +limo, and the midi-ISD.
Add to the TRU list: 7179 Dunkan Bulk and Vapour, 8041 Race Truck, and this year's Train sets.

I saw the City Public Transport at ToysRUs up here in Canada. Snatched it as soon as I saw it. They had three in stock. My wallet is still hurting after the purchase though. The ToysRUs I went to restocked there Lego section as they had a lot of new sets. The new Passenger Train, Cargo Train and Level Crossing were all there. I did not see the new Train Station though. I also saw the helicopter and limo for $38 at Wal-Mart but didn't pick it up as I was saving my money for the City Public Transport and the Family Home. What store would be selling the Family Home in Canada? We don't have Target up here. When are the Series 2 minifigures coming out up here? I heard September but not really sure.

I did not know the Luke Landspeeder was a walmart exclusive. HOWEVER, it is available at Lego.com as well, at $24.99 and 5 good figures, it is a great deal.

@yellowcastle I'm also in the DC Metro area. Can you tell me which Borders you use most often. The one closest to me only has a small selection, mostly Toy Story sets.

just putting this out there my local Kmart is selling most of their LEGO Star Wars and Toy Story sets 50%-75% off. I just picked up 7595 for $2.50

@MCNwakeboard- Borders in Sterling had Shanghai Chase and I think Borders Fairfax, Frederick, and Germantown had Series 1 minifigs.

I Said This Exact Same Thing Yesterday! But With More Stuff involved ;)

I Just saw 8089, 8093, 8095, & a Empty Spot for 8097 at My Local Target. They Also Had all HF & The New Family Home. But What Was Really Cool was a 2ft Tall One Piece Lego Darth Vader Minifigure in a Display Case. If You Pressed The Button, His Lightsaber would Move and So would his Head! It Was Really Neat. This was in The Stockton Area if Anyones Intrested. Just Ask for Exact Area. ;)

How 'bout it Yellowcastle, Did YOU See a 2ft Tall DV Statue? And How Much was The Family Home? I Didn't Have time to Check. :(
P.S. These Finding were at a Reg. Target.

I just went to my local TRU and bought another copy of the Snow Trooper Battle Pack for $13! What a deal! The store also had copies of three Indiana Jones sets not for sale on the online Lego store: the canal chase, the temple of doom, and the fighter plane attack. All had a slight markup, but not enough to discourage collectors like me. I may buy the canal chase next time I go in a week or two, because they had about ten of them on the shelf and I am guessing they won't all sell out by then.

EDIT: Note that my TRU had absolutely NO summer sets, but plenty of Winter 2010 sets still on sale.

BTW, TRU has 30070-1: Alien Space Ship for $3.99 US. If it's not in the rack where they have watches and such, it could be by the display rack near the register. Be sure to check both spots if you wanted to pick one up. Not sure if it's a TRU exclusive, but I haven't seen these at Target (haven't been to WM lately so don't know if it's there either).

Just got back from my local toysrus and they had no new star wars sets altho they did have some new HF sets but I was able to get city corner. EDIT:Just bought the new clone turbo tank and slave 1 luckly the free shipping was still in efect.

KILLER Target Clearance sales! Just got back, they are slashing everything. Got several PoP, clone wars and a City Corner for 70% off! I had to double check the prices because I thought I was hallucinating. The City Corner rang up for 14.51! The PoP were 70% and the Clone wars were %50 (Tank, droid fighter, and Hyena Bomber). They had tons of them! Not any more :)

Thanks for the posts, folks! I just ran over to Target and picked up the City Corner for $14.98. The LEGO aisle is in sad shape, as is most of the toy section, while the store undergoes a major remodel. There are no clearance signs and most items aren't even with the right price tag. I found one Corner in the bottom corner, tucked away behind a few police stations. Score!

ceroknight you saw it at tru? because i was at my local tru yesterday, and they didn't have it, but they did have three lego games, the big hero factory sets and corroder, the pig farm, cargo train, and level crossing, and the lego store is getting lego games, hero factory, and the new star wars sets.

@R4-G9 yes I did for 45 dollars which is a big rip-off because I saw it in walmart for 35. Also they had all the Hero Factory villains (no heroes) and a few of the games. I didn't check the City but I think I saw a few train sets.....Not sure when they will have the new Starwars sets.

Saw Family House and Undersea Explorer at Target in Newburgh, NY this past week. Went looking for more clearances, but they had already reset the aisle. The previous week they had four City Garages for 30% off, was hoping to grab them at 50%, but I guess not! None of the new SW sets were there, but there were spots for all of them - looked really empty!

And yeah, add 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer to the list of Walmart exclusives.

TRU in Columbus OH has the TRU Truck and Target has the Family home. I also heard that the Helicopter and Limo will be available August 2nd in some Lego stores :)

This is a nice list, now I have something to refer to when looking for exclusives. I haven't snatched up any of the Star Wars exclusives on this list yet, which is surprising to me. I'll see if I can find any new exclusives, my Wal*Mart is under reconstruction so I can't find any new Wal*Mart sets right now. :(

Just picked up Cad Bane's Speeder at Target (Elmhurst, Queens N.Y.). They have just 2 Slave I's, Turbo Tank, quite a few Wampa Cave's, Plo Kloon's Starfighter, a few Cad Bane's ship and looks like they sold out of General Grevious' ship. No spot I could see for Palpatine's shuttle.

Small thing but they had Freeco's Speeder on one rack for over the retail price (I believe it's 24.99, but on the shelf they have it for $28.79-odd price, then on the racks facing the aisle's it's stickered for $23.79-very odd, two price's. Check the bar codes on the scanner before purchasing to get the cheaper one), but online from Target it's on 'price cut' for $20.09. All 30% off at this particular Target are gone (Galactic Enforcer, Venator, Hyperspeed Pursuit, City Garage)...just an FYI.

I got lucky though, I went 2 weeks ago and got Hyperspeed Pursuit, 30% off, then last week I got lucky with Galactic Enforcer(30% off plus a $5 dollar coupon):with 2 boxes only on the shelf, I got the one with the figs, while the other someone had swiped them outta' the package. But today I was hoping to get the Venator (which they had like 4 or five last week, mint boxes, 30% off) but they're all gone...;( sob...

I haven't seen any deals at Target in No. VA either. Everything is basically cleaned out but they refuse to lower the prices of Battle of Endor or the POP sets they have left. Oh well, I really don't need to spend money til BrickFair anyhow... Can't wait!

@Unknown User2596 - The sailer, Home One, Farmer, Tractor, 4WD, Combine, Wind Turbine, Pirate Tank, and Le Mans Racer can all still be found at our local TRU's or Targets so I included them as still available exclusives. The SW mini promos as well as the mini firecar and mini policeboat seemed to disappear from our Targets back around Easter so I left those off. :o)

@legoDad42 - I'm definitely eyeing the Galactic Enforcer but may have to pass in deference to the forthcoming Imperial Shuttle and my newly discovered craving for the Cargo Train.
