is this valid in N America?

Hurray for the British! I have never bought of Lego Shop before.

ooooooo sounds awesome .... huw, you're right; I'd better get the Public transport

Ooh, that's nice. I have a few VIP points to spend and they would've been mostly consumed by the shipping charges otherwise.

Unfortunately doesn't seem to be an offer elsewhere, like Ireland.

Its not valid in the US, I ordered some sets on the 1st and had to pay standard shipping (USD 8.95).

Wish the US had free shipping but then again we just had free shipping last month.

Wish it was in U.S. because of the low price to get free shipping.

This is certainly welcome for those of us in the UK, especially for sets that can't be had anywhere else (which is a lot of sets due to a disappointing lack of supply to competing stores), but to be honest its more of a token gesture to quell the misery caused by what was starting to feel like almost monthly price rises. Just lately we have witnessed the pound being devalued to 1:1 with the dollar on almost every new set, and an arbitrary 15%+ rise on many older sets to match those new hiked prices (and prevent the obvious discrepancy in price/part comparisons). So yes, i applaud the 1-month-only saving of a few quid... but a fair price for our pound would be better. :o)

@ Legomatt: One of the best posts on here for a long time, absolutely correct.

I agree with lego Mat . It's really a token to make fans happier probably since many earlier released sets 2009 jan or earlier have gone up . E.g the technic hauluer is now £10 more than it's original price and the city corner is now £8 more.
